I can live with a rollback I'm sure most people were expecting one.  BUT THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A -_- TOTAL GAMESTATE ROLLBACK.  All this was was a halfassed attempt to appease the people that were sleeping during the few hours this was happening.

 

Also Oda:  For future reference:  Don't EVER say things like "There shouldn't be a rollback"  if there's even a remote possibility of a rollback, that only gets people more pissed off when you actually rollback.

I transcended from being a blacksmith last night woke up and now im blacksmith again initial reaction is = looks like valkyrie didnt like the cupcakes i sent to her -w - and I leveled my high novice and to high merchant after the insane xp boost too but oh well fair is fair i guess

this actually raises another point. what if you were a broke ass newbie who scrapped together 1.285 mil to transcend? do you need to pay the fee again if you get rolled back?

same for reset stones for going to 3rd class.

Sigh you guys caused a lot of my friends to be rather upset. Are we going to get compensated for VIP too? I don't have that much time to play these days and that one window time frame I was able to play, turned in at least 4-5 hours of TIs that got lost in this process of rollbacks.. It's honestly not cool. :\

 

I don't want to add to the QQs and GM bashing, but today's WP management really disappointed me onto a whole new level.

 

 

Edit: Actually it was more than 4-5 hours of work that gone down the drain. And also weeks of TIs that were accumulated over the course of weeks. I haven't accounted the amount of time I spent sitting waiting for party to start, organize, and then get the quest done, and this week's TI was horrendous with Phyllas with high HP pool that takes a long time to complete.

Onyl exp/lvls for some chars, some not. Items obtained/used during the day not affected, zeny as well. Class change bugs, quests wasted, lots of raging and complaining.

They rolled back my character levels, but did not roll back the following:  All my boards/quests I had saved up, my quest timers, my TI timers, my healing items used during all this.   But it's cool I got to keep the 46 fabric I looted during all of it =D

 

 

Edit:  If nothing else this whole thing has taught everyone "Don't play any of WPs game if there's a major content patch for at least a week because they won't properly test it then penalize people for their screwups"

and i just find that i wasted some time to gain job exp for job change quest after rollback cuz that job change quest didn't show up at quest list. T.T

they should have just done a roll back as soon as this all went down.  If they insisted on doing a rollback 4 hours late they should have only rolled back the people who gained ridiculous amounts of experience (3rd class character who gained 5+ lvls for instance, or characters over 150).  Penalize the people who went out of their way to exploit the error, not peopleere simply had the misfortune of being online at that time.

My Scholar was lvl to 97/69 when chaos Server Disconnected because bug from new  Instance....

but Now Back to his Lvl before and if this rollback where'smy BMX3 MagicalStoneGwing and other ?

I can live with a rollback...  An ACTUAL rollback, I'm sure almost everyone that was on during this expected it.

What I lost: Time

That's the only thing I'm upset about. The people who didn't experience this bug and cried for fairness got to use their time ~9 hours ago for whatever they want while we spent it on this game. Our one hour ++ just got invalidated and that's just upsetting. Of course, I know that I too am to blame for not realizing that it was a bug and not an event. I really should've payed more attention to the flashing announcements. I should've realized it sooner that if ever it was an event, there should've been an announcement saying that it is going to start. I should've quit when it started instead of wasting my time on it. Yeah, I'm regretting that I played ~9 hours ago. BTW, did we get the explanation we were asking for regarding the conclusion they arrived to? (I think I didn't see any post regarding why rollback is the best decision)

I am new to this server and I find this really upsetting.

You guys are complaining that it is unfair for those who was not online during the event, however what about those who actually spent money and time online and find out that everything just rolled back? And there is no announcement being make? I just done my job change quest yesterday and is shocked today for my character job has rolled back. You want to fix the problem during 3000+ experience, however when you trying to make it right you wasted my whole night's time and effort to change my job. May it sounds ridiculous to you, but I really spent a long time to change job because it is so difficult for me to collect ingredients for job change, when there is a lot of random boss monster around the maps(whoever summon them, thanks a lot).
