We all know the attendance of WoE TE is keep decreasing due to unfriendly time especially for people in Asia (SEA, East Asia, Australia). Also a player in US said things like WoE TE is WoE AE (Atheist Edition?) since it is conducted when christians are suppose to go to the church. So i conclude that the current WoE TE time is not win win for Asian people even for USA people.

Remember, this is International Community and the ideal WoE should cater all timezone. The discussion is mostly about time. No, i dont talk about improving TE attendance by eliminating MVP cards, CP and things like that. It is only about the time.

 

My suggestion:

Saturday 10 PM PST Time

means at some time in Asia in +6 to +8 GMT, it should be conducted in 11 AM to 1 PM on Sunday. I believe some people in Asia suppose to already return from church.

 

Well, i know we cant please EVERYONE. But it is better then pleasing NO ONE. Reducing the amount of butthurt is better.

WoE TE now starts at 00.00 AM monday. surely not a good time for most asian player.

Unless you're a working person which I actually questioning with your playing time and level in iRO already higher than mine, staying up 12-1 AM is not big issue for me as a working person+gamer at same time... You rather want to manage your sleep time as a gamer as my advice...

With the end of DST in the US, the WoE TE time is now 2-3 a.m. Monday morning in Japan (UTC+9).

I like woe TE time as it is. Just my opinion. And not to mention that the whole TE being dead thing is based around large guilds not having enough excitement going on. First of all, TE is supposed to be training for new people to get into woe, hence it is called training edition. All it's capable of doing is training people for the butthurt going against zerg rushes and fighting people with MVP cards.

And if time change were to take place, that suggested time is way too late for me to attend

Should just rename it to WoE: Trans Edition. Battlegrounds is a better way to train new WoE guilds anyhow.

Yeah, that's kinda what it is. TE never had a a chance to actually be "training".

I like the way it is right now. It is 11 pm my time. When I went back to Bangkok during summer, WoE time was 5 am and I had to wake up at 4 am to get ready both WoE 1 and WoE 2.

 

So I think if WoE TE is fun, I am sure people can find times to join. People dont try to make it because it is probably boring due to other mechanisms ie MVPs, CPs, etc.

Many people are accustomed to the time now and a drastic change would disrupt the WoE TE population more than anything imo. Dont forget that the current WoE TE time is what the player base voted for once already.

Fine with the current time. WoE 1 and 2 are at 5:30 am for me(4:30 when no DST), but I do attend most of the times and then go to class. Honestly, although it's difficult, you have to deal with the fact that it's impossible to find a time convenient for everyone around the globe. I don't complain about it because I don't want WoE health to get worse due to already settled players not being able to attend, leading to a consequent decline in overall turnout.

Addendum: An alternative to this could be that we come up with three time slots for each WoE, one favorable to USA, one for Europe and then Asia. Then we allot one WoE to each slot, then cycle the time slots periodically (say a couple weeks or so) between each WoE. This is the only change I can think of which would be equitable to all. This way people from every place will have one woe in a time favorable to them weekly, and since we cycle slots, they won't be restricted to only one woe all their lives.

WoE TE time for me is 4:00 AM, but I've pretty much accepted that Australia gets the short end of the stick when it comes to iRO times.

There are allways possibilities, if i wanna woe 1.0 during the week its for me 1-3 am same as saturday!

Personally thaughts its true yes, for asia region the WoE TE time is bad, but if ur dedicated you can still come for example, sleep early and wake up for TE.

A Change of WoE time will not signiffically bring a change to WoE TE since its a more issue of Guilds recruiting. Many pepole could woe te and would, but dont because not alsked...

so you want to remove all asian from playing? well, almost all of them removed already for TE. no one give a -_- anymore to sacrifice their sleep time to wake up for monday morning to work than attending a virtual war.

No one ever force you to play such a virtual game. We play it for fun. If you cant join the woe te, you dont have to come:p.
