Well some people are actually trying to level during the exp event. I have died a few times and trust me it is very frustrating going all the way back down to AL3, hopefully getting off that insurance before you die, and wasting your HE BM that you bought from the kafra shop for 60 points ea (or 2-2.6m zeny).First off, Thanks Heim for the up date. I gave up on lvling do to this fact that I knwo if I try I will lag and most likly die. Now for anyone that is trying to lvl right now. How can you-_- at the gm team for your own stupidity. You people know there is problems the last few days but yet you keep trying to lvl and keep dieing then coming here and bitching that you lost this and that. I dont feel sorry for you at all. Yes I know you pay to play and eventhing and have the right to lvl. how ever the gm said they are under attack and giving you updates and things. yet you keep dieing and you keep coming to the forums and helling and screaming about it. You know what, stop your bitching and just hol d out when they finally fix the issue like I am doing. Yes I have not been able to lvl the past 2 days, but I am playing it safe.
Make it a 300% exp even and I'll be happy. As it is it takes around 8-10 HE's for me to get one level on my AB (Keep in mind that there are still no places to solo as an AB at 130+ and that the party exp is insanely bad.) Also you should put in an event where support class characters (namely AB's) get boosted experience for being in a party.a 200% exp event would be pretty awesome....the exp adjustment due to level gap is really annoying.
Well if they did go to ygg they must have gotten new IP's, I believe they were IP banned not just account banned. I heard they went to some other RO server completely. Which would not surprise me.i heard they all went to ygg. or back to WoW, which is preferred

I was leveling in goats when I couldn't move at all (not the normal lag that's always present), and it wouldn't disconnect me. I would just move like every 2 minutes one cell. It lasted for a good 8 minutes--what the hell was that? That 's retarded.

The DDOS attack is aimed to hurt the game and it's community. We can still play but many of us do not want to since this is causing a lot of lag induced death. The DDOS attacker is succeeding, as they are keeping us from playing as we normally would.
Give us a reason to play despite this.

LOL cause the FBI doesn't have better things to do other than track down internet bullies harrassing a crappy mmo.As for the rich kid MIT graduates, they are gonna end up in jail. FBI should be knocking one of their doors anytime now :3

There we go ^^ I was wondering when we'd finally get that scoop! Very good, very good. I had assumed most of what is going down already, from the hardware to the attacks, but it's good that you finally came out and told the community. You should have done it sooner y'know? The community likes to hear whats going on, to be honest, if the community doesn't hear it, 95% of it will just assume you are doing nothing. Of course this is just silly, but thats just the way people are, so make sure you get on it asap. All it takes is a forum post like this, and thousands of people will chill. As for the rich kid MIT graduates, they are gonna end up in jail. FBI should be knocking one of their doors anytime now :3 and then he/she will rat out all his/her friends to save his/her own butt like a wuss. haha ahhh, I remember when I was that stupid. And to anyone whom it may concern. Don't fight the system... manipulate it to your benefit
cheers,
b
That is all handy and dandy, but obviously those MIT graduates shouldn't have graduated lol
But the thing is, what are the chances of all this happening at once? There is not going to be FBI or a system. Gravity is not the only business in their area working with that same ISP, so it would be nice if they tell us the "bad" experience of those other businesses I wonder why the DDOS attacks seem to hit naRose more than hmmm jRose for example, even though we got way less people playing here and they got way more uptime that us. Do they have a better setup or are we just too unlucky?
Something id not add up half a decade ago, its not adding up now either.

i am also wonder why they just posted on ragnarok community chat but not rose?Would've been nice if their was directed to the gravity community as a whole to give everyone an idea of what is going on instead of focusing on just ragnaroks section so everyone else has to come looking for it regardless of whether or not ragnarok is your largest community and you biggest source of money.

haha that is a funny coincidence u think? Insur gets owned by GM's and then DDOS happens?I blame Insur for the DDOS.

well at least they keep the gravity staff entertained, forcing them get up and actually do something. So it's probably just one or a very few people ruining it for the rest huh. Those people are so annoying wow so pointless.
i sometimes think they deserved it.

That could be true.. they should get their stuff together once and for all now after all this trouble imo.
Wether it's them or some other company, they are responsible for their own game.
All things aside, I do partly agree with a comment I read in a different topic - it's a free to play game.
That doesn't make it right to give such bad service sometimes though!

I wholeheartedly concur with this. I have played numerous games that after "they" thought everything was fixed, it went to hell again, and the prizes they gave were wasted, and no further comp was done. Those games are now just small reminders of what happens when the game pisses their players off, and the exodus begins. I have only played this game for about 3 weeks, and I decided to pay for it, since I really like the graphics and alot of the other parts to it. I found this game by accident while I was trying to run for my life form Wizard101 and Conquer (they both suck like a hoover with holes in its hose..BADLY). Fix the problems, shoot you ISP if need be and get another, but don't comp until you are sure it's ALL taken care of. I would rather have the downtime (as long as you keep the players in the loop) rather than get pissed every hour.As much as i like treats, please don't give away anything until the problem appears to have been solved. It only gets more frustrating when we know there is some kind of "event" going on in the games, but the only event we are able to participate in is the "100% server/connection drop" one.
It may piss a few people off, but in the long run it should prove to be better for the player base if you hold off on any kind of compensation until players are actually able to play.
Also, I understand the construction accident couldn't be helped, so not your fault. Hardware/Software issues, those are your fault and ANY delays due to them need to be compensated for also. I'm not angry since, you've at least kept us informed, but if possible, kick your ISP in the arse and put a flame under it as well to make them move just a bit faster.

Between you and me...
I know a guy who knows a guy...who MIGHT know a few guys willing to 'fix' this situation permanently-like.
No more DDOs from those wise-guys, unless their last name's are Lazarus...capiché?
