Don't make a sc for pvm. I am lv 175 and did some extensive research on how to pvm with this class. SC have a very hard cap on what we can do beyond woe, even with unlimited zenny. The class is simply not mention for killing monsters effectively since 80% of your tool kit is pvp related. You cannot masq Mvp, bit you can divest them.

If you still wanna try, my best suggestion is ASS build.

 

I'll do it, i already have a build to get max aspd with a shield, i don't taking long to kill the mvp, just want to do it safe, just please tell me what skill should i get to clean mobs on endless tower, if that's okay

oh ok. cause i was gonna say if you wanted to get past SS you gotta be able to kill him before he enrages. can't really tank that.

also need to stack water resist for the 3 WB bosses too.

Well, here's the build i'm thinking to do

 

Cenere carded FAW+9 ad3/ad3+1aspd

Bison horn, what card should i use here?

thorny buckler with alice card or hodremlin

+9 temp agi boots ad4 with runeaway magic

Orleans's gown with Byorgue, but i'll elemental armors too

faceworm queen leg, again, what card should i put on it?

 

as for the hat, i guess i'll put a witch pumpkin hat, so i can just spam healing item without any higher costs

 

what do you guys think of this build?

you don't even have the welfare shadow set? bro. at a minimum it's like +4 to all stats.

you could also get a full moon costume, or enchanted mid/lower headgears. garment costume can also be enchanted w/ +1 ASPD to allow you greater flexibility in the rest of your gears.

I have the brown shadow set, not the white, which one of those should i get?

 

 

And does the faceworm queen transformation give any bonus to attack or something? people say it just increase the chance of using earthquake

it's really up to you as far as what set you want. a +27 physical set ups your atk by 46, a +18 athletic set gives you +5 agi; other shield/shoe sets increase your damage vs. specific races, like boss class.

i don't have FQL so someone else will need to answer that question.

I'm sorry to bother you, but i saw again the ass build on wiki, and i wanted to have some str on my build, i think it would help a lot on killing the mvp, how much do you think is fine to put it and what stat should i take it from?

I had 0 str. Most of your dmg will purely from Duple Light and CDinM. Meteor storm is mainly used to kill/stun adds. But if you really want str, I say 30-50 is good.

Any chance this build could work without CD in mouth? i was planing on using advanced ring of flame lord, and i read something of much altocast itens don't work together and i using witch pumpkin hat + alarm mask for sustain

This is a missed it we use to be able to firetrap perfectly but 10 years of hard work was nerf because rangers were useless at that moment and possibility removed.

 

The trick to a chaser is to not let anyone know how cool it is cause than it will happen again.

 

I need a shadow chaser for endless tower.  My main goal is to tank every mvp in there as a bucket list.

 

If I had super priest to tank them all on my chaser I would learn comet,  and ME go int/dex

 

Now there seems to be contradiction in my statement and is kinda suppose to be there cause if this happens again I won't touch mine

Don't bother with str. You'll be stacking matk/int/autocast gears anyway so you should fully focus on dealing more magic damage rather than splitting between magic and physical. Besides double attack, chasers don't have any skill that inherently boosts their physical damage/auto attack anyway so str isn't worth it. I'd say 20 str is the max amount of stat points you should be spending there.

 

You're basically a mage who casts your spells by swinging your weapon really fast.

I would run my chaser with that probably to do test see if it's feasible and if tank required.

wph + alarm + pumpkins shouldn't beat flamel + ren's slims in terms of effectiveness, but it's quite expensive tho. and you'd have to lose potential ASPD from cenere card. as a trade off, you can put Isabella red ear for more ASPD (and some HP too).
