Current Projects for March (The Month of Classic Love!)

1. Testing Implementation of a battleground written by a player

2. Stage one of the Janeway replacement project.

3. Looking into seal power 2. And adjusting or removing it to fit the realities of the server and promote competition.

4. Elemental Armors and prize medals.

New: 5. Proof of concept of a instanced BG arena with timers and dialog that force character participation and act as a light captcha to discourage botting.

 

 

 

   Janeway should go..was about time   , for a new player the start is always fun, everything is new and they are learning, a returning player will have his character already, and if he don't he could use that time to get used to the game again.

  Also we could have something interesting for the old players to do, one of the things i hear the most is "I'm bored, there's NOTHING to do", so..maybe we could have a NPC that would give you a reward

(Something good, Elemental Armor, or some of the event hats, etc..) if you collect a set or puzzle pieces..whatever, like 12 zodiac stones for example, so when you complete a Turn in quest, you could choose to get the Exp or a box that would give you a random zodiac stone, also MVPs could drop those boxes,or you could trade BG medals for a box too, and the stones should be tradable.

•  Put in a way of getting elemental armors/prize medals that doesn't involve botting an unused system
• BGs - get rid of the randomization / tweak flavius so it's viable and doesn't disconnect users on death
• Box contents - no more pay to win hats, create a list of what hats are available to be edited
• Pay to win items in boxes/kshop - create ways to earn them ingame via game play and promote partying, Mental pots/mega resist/abrasives/aspersio scrolls/regen pots/seig tokens as a turn in reward
• GSBs in turn ins
• WoE type BG for mid week pvp play/training
• Challenge dungeon subject aura needs to not be card rate
• Gears to counter the unnatural supply of Classic, NOT KVM, but something neutral resist, such as immune shield.
• Reduce WoE 2 guardian attack to be proper for the server size.
• Discussions for future challenge dungeons should happen now
• Quests for consumables/new items/p2w hats (slot mids/EMH/MRH) - promote gameplay over credit cards
• New incentivies for VIP
• Rework WoE rewards, econning is still crap. We tried it.
• Ideas for promoting Competition over farming in WoE
• Seal power 2 needs to gtfo
• Extended quests for 70->90 to follow up from Janeway
• Anti botting feature for BG
• Reduce weight of ranked blues, they are harder to earn than BG blues, they should be better.
• Consider nerfing Ygg items in WoE as there is an unnatural overflow from lack of competion in WoE
• Make Maya Purple card an active skill
• Buff Sleipnir
• Give nif field maps a buff spawn
• Make Detarderous a natural spawn
• CEB/Red pom (no slots) via ingame play rewards ONLY to offset higher dps from renewal gear.
• WoE 1 flags are not the same as other servers, perhaps put in a second option flagging directly to kafra
• fix the righthand flag of nyd 3
• sponsor your streamers
• Add the kick NPCs to WoE 2 castles treasure rooms
• Add kafra with storage to WoE 2 realms

Do you think you could change the High Orc sprite back? Most people I know still have TLAPD pirate Orc Lord.

 

If you're looking for Bloody Branches, Hocus Pocus is a fun alternative. It's not quite as instant or have quite the same level of diversity, but it's fun to do in a small group and doesnt take long to spawn stuff. Plus being able to buy gems from NPCs here is swell.

I would like to see a 2 Woe TE Time the Sundays 12:00pm - 1:00pm Is right in the middle of the Day and Verry Hard to make 

Woe 1 and 2 are at Saturdays 7:00pm - 9:00pm Easier to make

I am sick and freakin' tired of people suggesting to punish/devalue the efforts of those who played properly because of those who constantly and knowingly dupe/exploit crap all the time. That's why the server is so dead, because it turns back on the people who didn't cheat and they lose all their effort and work.

I don't really feel like getting into it with all the Tumblrinas on the forum here, but BBs are the last thing we need. We have a buffed Hocus, that's fine. Maybe expand the mvp list a bit and it acts as a zenysink and isn't pay to win and isn't dupable.

That's true, I used to do Hocus Pocus as well, it is heavely nerfed. By being buffed, I think Xellie meant Yellow Gemstones being sold by an NPC

for reals i'll probably shove more money at x3s because of the veins spotlight, dunno what else i'd wanna see in there. i don't care much for the consumables and i'm too chicken to actually try to overup hats. from what little i remember of kvm, i wouldn't mind it too much (the game mode, not the gear). wasn't it that really quick and easy deathmatch one? might be worth doin' things for.

 

also i think we hocus'd maybe a month or two ago and got some stuff, not a constant stream of mvps but still had some fun.
