We have an Anniversary event running on Classic, create and level a character to 99 on Classic by the end of the month and get a straw boater style hat on both servers!

+50% drops as part of the Anniversary Event

Camp is working on adding a heal bombing tutorial as part of the Janeway system starting this week

And for the leveling event, you have to make a 99 nontrans or trans?

Will you implement the option you presented (from the event thread) about making it possible to transfer the headgear as long as the RO accounts belong to the same WP account?

Or just make the headgear tradeable?

Also, any tentative plans/date re: homunculus loyalty event?

And please include Wickebine Ears and retain Hunting Cap on Grandma boxter's list if possible.

In my head this is how I think GMs "work" on classic:

your renewal credentials will be fine log in as normal select classic Loki and make char don't forget to use the classic patcher

HQ is requiring us to do a DB maintenance today which is pretty extensive, which unfortunately means that we will be down longer than usual.

Not that I don't understand, but I am laughing a little about the anniversary event being on classic for renewal people.

 

So, Classic opened at the start of July, there's 1 month till Classic's 4th anniversary. So maybe we'll get a quest for that. Or not, we'll probably see the exp event going away along with the drops event. I'm sad that WoE was taken away from a lot of people for the month and I guess the stop gap is that we'll get to make new chars for a hat.

 

We could really use boxter being updated. I don't personally use it but I heard a lot of people talking about it. Another quest or something would be nice, meanwhile, we're having to hold our own guild events to just even make people want to play this game (we're having a level a homunculi event) otherwise all this month has to offer is make a new char in 2 hours for a hat and a quest for a hat feat. outdated boxter and no WoE sunday.

Can you please use that extra time to confirm some things for us.

 

Here's some things I'd like more details/confirmation on:

• Event sieges, are they going in for this weekend? Can you confirm the ruleset/what items are actually disabled? Where can I find the stat resetter? What is going into the treasure boxes?
• Is the Lighthalzen spotlight still in during all these drop/exp events?
• Can you please be clearer about the hat promotion going on, with regards to current Classic players who have accounts full of characters. Will we be able to get them transferred or will they just be tradable? What is the actual hat we're getting (picture) on Classic? What are the effects on it? Do we have to retrieve one on Renewal then ticket to transfer it to Classic?
• Is the drop event continuing until the end of the month also?
• Are you planning on doing anything else for the anniversary? The tarnished lamp quest is pretty uninteresting and maybe the third or fourth time we've seen it.

As you have mentioned about the delay for this maint, do you have an estimate as how long it would take to complete such tasks?

Classic shouldn't be as long Chaos Renewal. Worse case is we open tomorrow. But I think classic will open tonight.
