errr... support class really have more dots than dps because dps usually dont have dots.

 

you only get 20-30k dot when you build it that way.

if you meant for pvp... that means you chose to put cls atk.. therefore sacrificing your defense. 

if you meant for pve... then full int hones and full +80int would give you just that...

 

soooo.. what's the fuss?

 

the problem is, there is not enough DPS to kill overpowered prz dot now. 

 

if you play prz, 20k+ credo with 100k hp, you no longer need good pvp dec since sin/k9 no longer able to kill you. cure+hh+reno will do the job, unless other dot class hit you first

if you play prz, 20k+ credo with 100k hp, you no longer need good pvp dec since sin/k9 no longer able to kill you. cure+hh+reno will do the job, unless other dot class hit you first

 a very good point dude... i guess this is where a good teamplay comes in handy..

 

we have been used to  having the "1 sin take on 1 priest" method. a big change in tactics is needed now.. maybe make sure you have stacked cures and reno and HH on your offense as well before taking on a priest? Im not saying focus your entire offensive team on 1 priest... but yeah..  i guess you get the point.. :)

Njor did say this isn't the last of balancing changes though. Right now redu SM and priest are immortal to everything except rogue. Reduction tanks with cure on them could probably run into 10 people and laugh at it. It really doesn't help that people can gain so much reduction from costumes now, without 45% bonus redu SMs and priests would probably be very killable by the hiders still. Redu meta is here and only rogues are gonna be able to do something about it with fracture, which is a broken ability by itself. Nobody is gonna kill anyone in teamfights, gonna be hilarious and WoE might turn into an "ignore pvp and just hit the emps" game

Don't worry..
1. Double Damage from hiding affect PvP more than PvE
   I doubt Assassins doing Hiding + Grimtooth that often on JDQ
2. Priest Judex is still good for PvE
3. BT nerf was planned long time ago, so this is hardly surprising.
 
The goal is obviously to let some player have some equal fighting chance.
 
The problem is, currently people are too comfortable doing 1-hit-kill thing.
With 1 shot skills. People are getting killed without a chance to heal themselves.
And that's just plainly wrong.
 
Patience... It's called Balance for a reason.

you can have stacked cures,HH reno, but full offensive prz easily can deal dmg 30-40k/2s. you will likely die before even reach enemy tank. getting 3-4 sin to kill also waste of resources, since one dot from average prz and sin already good bye.

 

i dont mind getting nerf, but if we getting nerf before nerfing boss dmg/hp, then that completely bad move from WP.

Leave the runes int useless was the most absurd change they made, just enough to reduce the crit in half, later with the new gear could have done a better balance not to make such a drastic change, make the gear again? no thanks.
 
I lost a fifth of my attack, this is a joke?

Why don't you add npc to change rune type, eg. Int to agi/str, so that nerfed class can rebuild their char at ease?

WHAT ABOUT MONK??? STUN AND CRIT DAMAGE? COMPARE TO THE DAMAGE OF KNIGHT AND WARRIOR?? LOL

 

WHAT ABOUT CURE OF SM he will heal only our damage hahaha Laftrip..... THE DAMAGE OF KNIGHT HE WILL CURE LOL??

 

And we will honing again and change rune, start to basic again ..wew...

There's BUGS in SOLO Dungeon!! 

 

First:  SP move up and down!

Second:  Correction:  There's some damage but very low.

Tanks can be tanks again... not OP damagers

agree.. this is why they call it "Re-balance" all class come back to their role..

Well... A bit of a heads up

You know you can always ask for PvE nerf, right...?

Their goal is definitely NOT trying to make our life miserable..

 

Please Nerf PvE & TY!     :surrender:

 

Tanks can be tanks again... not OP damagers

Hiders can go back DPS... not 1 shot killers (well most of them anyways)

Priests can go back to dotting and healing.... not raid stunners

This is a great idea!!! (Note: I don't ask this for myself. I'm a Ranger.)

 

 

 

I'd like to remind WP that when we were told that rebalancing was to be expected (YEARS AGO)

we were told that free scrolls to reskill/restat would be given. Why not an easy rerune option too?

This change has surprinsingly come earlier than I expected. Finally !!

 

I hope they will reduce Jawaii/WL bosses HP accordingly until they balance up the other DPS classes. A NPC during a limited period of time to exchange any +50/80 runes to other 50/80 runes is a great idea!

 

Looking forward to some more balances coming up to all classes.

This "Class Re-Balancing" will be gladly welcomed if they really did Balance ALL Classes at the same time, not just "Oh! Let's balance this classes now and let's see how the masses will react before we do another job, we can always start class balancing the other classes if there's too much rant anyways!".

I just did JDQ and it took about the same time as before patch. I don't know if HP got lower or what they did but PvE balance didn't seem affected by these changes.

it did affected, but it's not a big deal. the swordman still took the threat, but the gap is not too far with another tank

Hey everyone.

 

A couple of notes:

 

  • These are far from the last balance changes we're working on, but we knew some of these needed a fix for a long time. If you are asking, "What about this balance issue over here?" then make sure you're posting to our forum for discussion.
  • Swag/Kafra stuff becoming unbound was mostly to ease the amount of support tickets coming in for the item, which delays everyones ticket response. We also don't like restricting items in an MMO where there's an in-game market that could be used. This change is retroactive, so all prior IDs will be unbound.
  • We're investigating inflation causers to try and help reign in prices because it's unfair to new users. Ancient Warriors pricing just seemed like someone had misplaced a decimal when they went in.

 

 

Hi, CM Njoror,

 

I presumed that any change in skill multiplier/value would consider as a major game content change, which could affect certain area of the gameplay significantly before and after. And I shall mark this patch as the starting point of the Whole Class Balance Change Project.

 

Since this is the starting point of the major skill change, in this transition period, could WP consider to offer the following items available in Zeny in the Kafra Service NPC, so that player who were affected by all these changes could have a more affordable and less time consuming way to rebuild their character?

 

- Skill Reset Scroll, 15000 Zeny each.

- Stat Reset Scroll, 15000 Zeny each.

- Rune Remover, 1000 Zeny each.

- Complete Honing Scrub, 500 Zeny each.

 

In the meantime, setup a NPC to exchange for any kind of the same stat Bind Rune one to one will be a great bonus.

 

 

All these offer would save a player a lot of money, time and effort to rebuild their affected character. Further more, by the end of the transition period, you would created a great zeny sink to help out the game economy.

 

Lastly, WP might have lower revenue due to this, but I believe your player/customer shall be very grateful if you can implement these offer.

 

 

 

Side Note: To obtain a large amount of +50/+80 Bind Rune to build up a character by own effort, is a super time consuming task, to be frank. Player who have gone through it probably would never want to make it again, unless you could have make change to the Bind Rune System to let those Bind Rune more obtainable. Therefore, we would really appreciate if you could setup such a NPC to exchange for any kind of the same stat Bind Rune one to one. Thank you.  :p_smile:

Yeah JDQ still seemed fine. It was a bit slower, like.. 2mins slower on Blop, but that was fine. Crec and priest really do ridiculous damage, you just near some strong ones. I'm still really gonna push for asking for scrubs from kafra NPCs for zeny - it'd help these people adapting to changes so much and be a lot fairer on them. Plus, honing is a stupid system anyway with how RNG it is. 500z is a bit too cheap - make it 1k and you'd have a very real zeny sink.

The crec out-threated the tanks at the end of Naiad kill, this might happen more often now like it used to with average built tanks in Silent Corridor. I can not imagine how tanks will keep up with the threat against top dpsers in that dungeon.

I am glad to hear Jawaii wasn't too affected for PvE.
I maintain that DW (Archers in particular), AS, & FP
ought to be considered for a Nerf. WL bosses too?
A decently geared (squishy) class shouldn't dread
running thru mobs their level, or require an escort.

I agree! Honing is absurd! I'd love to see honing either
removed all together or reworked to be less RNG &
more customizeable. Let us choose the line's stat, but
then RNG the resulting number, so that we don't get
magic power on a bow or strength on mages gear, etc.

 

 

Since this is the starting point of the major skill change...

Some nerfs, some buffs, & some good ideas yet to happen...

OK, I just logged in, and I was not the first to discover an item mishap, as per PubChat.

 

We got too many items last night, which I agree was too many to gift out at once, ever.

I didn't have the inventory to accept stuff that didn't stack last night, so I only accepted

a few items that I expected would stack, and planned on using them up today to make

more space in my bags for the other stuffs...

 

SO, when I logged in ready to refine (with the infinium I bought for doubloons) and saw

that not only was it gone, but so too were the guardian seals (saved from long ago gift),

I turned to Pub for answers. Luckily, Idun was there, & Big Friendly Letters: Don't Panic! :ani_meow:

 

Apparently SOME items that stacked last night disappeared by this morning. Not all items.

My Cupons & P.stone stack didn't revert or disappear, and a Puncher & XP scrolls stayed.

(I expected those to stack with my already existing stacks of Punchers & XP scrolls, lol.)

 

According to Idun & company, they are looking into it and intend to make it all better. Yay!

"If you lost a stacked item with removed Gleam rewards we are looking into it now and will restore."
