They should do something about it, it feels bad spent time making a lame quest like that when there are better things to do. Doing nothing about it at the moment would be a super duper waste of time and resources making it

all the people ranting about woe TE times. if they change it back, they will lose the reason for Thor server catering to SEA.

 

then they will merge it with Chaos.

 

so the people choosing Chaos should accept the time difference since that's your server.

 

anyway, the time will go back in what, 6months??

 

but changing it from 9am to 8am sounds more reasonable to me. it's easier to wake up at 8am than to sleep past 1am if you're working/going to school.

 

in the end, it depends on where they are catering, and it should not be SEA since that is for Thor. now SEA players move to Thor.

In the past TE times was changed to earlier to accomodate for DST.

True. I remember last year they said it wouldn't but then the night before TE they changed it and none of our guild showed up haha

Should this gut competition in the TE event over the next few months we will be willing the review the set times in favor of a better time for all involved.

We do that so there is no confusion between 12:00 Noon or 12:00 midnight.. there have been incidents in the office since for a very long time we were a 24/7 office.

You're affecting an entire guild and half of another guild to attend WoE. :/

 

The thing is you're not affecting people as negatively when they're required to wake up a little earlier, versus people having real life obligations the next day. Perhaps there are more U.S based WOErs who now have to wake up a bit earlier on a Sunday, but now there are a significantly larger portion that needs to go to sleep for work the next day.

One population will wake up earlier if they're committed enough - it has no affect on their real life obligations, whereas the other population will now have to stay up and get less sleep which WILL affect their real life obligations, and they'd rather choose not to.

There's a huge difference between having to wake up 1 hour earlier on a Sunday versus sleeping at 1 AM or later on a Monday which is a workday.

I understand that some Sea players grew on chaos and do not want to go to Thor a server made for SEA. But with that said you made the choice to play on a US time zone based server no one put a gun to your heads and said play on chaos or else. If i were on Thor and they had a woe time zone who im i to say change your time zone to fit my schedule better just my 2 cents. It's just a game after all and if you have real life obligation do it.

May I recommend March 17th, 2017 to review the impact? lol

 

It'd would be nice if TE was shuffled an hour earlier too.... using the same logic as Classic (waking up earlier on a sunday is w/e compared to monday morning) but also it puts TE and Classic SE really close together and that's where you'll find classic ppl on renewal
