Since we're doing headgear quest I'll bring back up my idea of area restricted turn in headgears :

 Magma Dungeon :

A quest involving the Deleter/Lava Golem turn in. The players would need to gather up :

 

500  Burning Hair

500  Lava

500  Live Coal

20    Flame Heart

 

to make the following hat :

In stead of giving those effects it would increase the recovery rate of Apples (same increase as Witch Pumpkin Hat) and an exp buff on the dungeon's turn in quests (similar to the Baby Dragon hat) but only in the two maps of the Nogg Road.

 

  Juperos :

A quest in relation with the Venatus turn in. Items needed :

 

500  Rusty Screw

500  Steel   

50    Flashlight

10    Crest Piece

10    Crest Piece

10    Crest Piece

10    Crest Piece

20    Fragment

 

The reward for the quest would be :

It would give an increase in recovery of Bananas and exp buff on the Juperos turn in quest only for the three Juperos maps.

If possible, this hat would need to take all three headgear slots so it wouldn't be stronger than the others similar to it..

 

 Ice Dungeon :

This one being the most effective way of leveling for new players it would need more work than the others.

 

The quest would require the players to complete the Rachel Sanctuary Quest and to gather the following items :

 

800  Glacial Heart

800  Ice Cubic

20    Frozen Rose

200  Bloody Rune

200  White Mask

50    Will of the Darkness

 

Completion reward :

The hat would increase recovery rate of Carrots and give an exp increase when completing an Ice Titan/Siroma turn in quest. The effect would, of course, only work in Ice dungeon (and maybe Rachel Sanctuary?). This hat would also need to take all the headgear slots for the same reason as the one above.

 

  Namless Island :

This one requires a pretty long quest that is hard for a new player to complete. The access to the dungeon is a good reward (both drops and experience are good in there) for fresh players.
 
So by completing the chain quest leading to Namless Island Entrance Quest and collecting the following items :
 
1000  Clattering Skull
500    Brigan
200    Old White Cloth
20      Thorn Magic Book
1        Well-Dried Bone
 
The reward would be a special :

That would buff the efficiency of Carrots on the three maps of Namless Island. There is currently no turn in in those maps and I'm not sure if it would be needed since the experience is very decent without it (particularly on the 3rd floor).

 

  Kiel Hyre :

This dungeon is empty most of the time. The drops there are pretty interesting but no one goes there for leveling (The experience/HP ratio is pretty bad, monsters hit hard and it requires a quest) so if we could add a way to make it more accessible and add a turn in there. Some players may see it as a viable option for leveling/farming.

 

Players would need to complete Kiel Hyre Quest then have the option to collect the following items :

 

500    Solid Iron Piece

500    Rusty Screw

200    Alice's Apron 

20      Burnt Part

20      Fragment

 

To get :

Which would increase the potting efficiency of Bananas on the Robot Factory (both floors) and would increase the exp received from an eventual turn in quest. Of course, the hat would need to take all the headgear slots.

 

 Niffleheim :

We used to have Loli Ruri quest in the past and it could be nice to revive it and make the players explore all of the Niffleheim maps. The turn in would include Loli Ruri, Hylozoist, Disguise, Gibbet and Dullahan so that players would have to move around to complete them.

 

The items they would need would be :

 

200    Broken Needle

200    Spool

200    Needle packet

200    Red Muffler

200    Tangled Chains

200    Decomposed Rope

200    Wooden Gnarl

200    Helm of Dullahan

200    Armor Piece of Dullahan

100    Striped Sock

100    Bat Cage

 

To get a :

It would increase the healing efficiency of Pumpkins on all the maps of Niffleheim (fields and town) but also increase the experience you get with the turn in. This hat would also take all slots.

 

 Odin Temple :

The problem with this map is the high HP/experience ratio of the monsters but also the fact that job experience is not possible to get in there. Having a turn in (frus and skogul) that would also give job experience could help making this dungeon more appealing.

 

Items needed for the cool hat :

200    Little Evil Wing

 

It would give :

Liked your ideas @darkabe, and changing their effects so it wouldn't be extremely OP is a nice touch, but i honestly think Ifrit mask could have the same effect as it has always had. It's an old item, and it's not like it would be used out of PvM, I think.
Maybe put this effect on Ifrit Ears? Or a variant of the Chaos' Castle Bat Fiery Bat(just paint it red lul)?

Maybe should test the treasure caches and see roughly how many bronze keys it'd take for it to drop a coupon,  and no, gold keys don't count because they're only available from purchase while mvps are limited.

Even with gold keys it's really hard to get a coupon, and hope you don't get a chick hat coupon
