Easter Cherry Blossom Event

 

Haruka as back, and she needs your help to stop the chef from doing bad stuff. But this is not all. The Little Spring Fairy Alba needs your help in the Easter Forest. Both NPCs can be found at the center island at Ports of the Winds.

 

Collect Easter Eggs to exchange them with Alba for great stuff. You can trade them for:

·         Cherry Blossom Costume Accessory Gasha Box

·         Easter Costume Accessory Gasha Box

·         Cherry Blossom Balloon Gasha Box

·         Easter Balloon Gasha Box

·         Kimono/Spring Party Set Gasha Box

·         Soverign Sunflower Set Gasha Box

·         Easter Blossom Set Gasha Box

 

Also the boss monsters of both maps can drop a special weapon box by a low chance. The weapons in it are spring themed IM weapons.

There is a daily quest for both maps which gives Perfect Cherry Blossoms (Haruka's Sushi Restaurant) and Golden and Silver Easter Eggs (Easter Forest). Don't throw these items away you can use them to complete a special reward quest from Alba.

You can get the Cherry Blossom Accessories (normal, chaos and new) in a box which can be obtained as mission result reward (rank S~SSS).

The Easter Lily Accessory Set can be obtained as a drop from the boss monster in the Easter Forest.

The Silver Eggs can be traded with NPC Alba for a Big IM Consumables Box.

The Event lasts until May, 3rd.

Removed the "Attack Range" stat from Earth Master's Secmathian Set (3 parts) and replaced it by a different one (all grades: normal, rare, hero). We found out that this ability is bugged when used on sets. If you have any problems with this ability on other items please let us know.

Any other stat would have risk so it's fair. Good philosophy on your end. Considering the potential of that near-double range I'm glad it got looked into.

While thinking about it, is it possible to remove the time duration on the easter medal ?

Anyways I'll pop this along, the 4 star lava rings have range so every class has the potential to use that ability. Getting irritated by how literally everything that changes always affects me no matter what change it is.

Max all-class accessories barely hits double-digit +% range and ditches a ton of core accessories like solars. Summoner literally had +60% or more available which did a multitude of skills and xspam effects. Helix shot stretched a good 1/5th of the length of Water BSQ map which meant off-screen range for most resolutions.

That stat has been there since the release of the secmathian set. I wonder why now instead of release to prevent players from ever spending time and money on that.

Why not health instead? since aim rate seems to be irrelevant ever since the evade cap.

Easy answer: because finally some players were courageous enough to make us aware of the side-effects. After testing we were able to reproduce these side-effects and confirm that the reports were correct.

His information ultimately only provided it gave the summoner range. How is 1 side effect of range stat getting more range? It's like saying players stacked health and it increased the tankiness of the player since they got more hp. So we had to remove it since the side effect of hlt was hp.

 

Also "this information can be used to try out other things" and when some guy decide to use a certain set, then others follow while the players spends time, money etc, you then change it so that you can sap $ from other players just like how you did with attack speed and movement speed and block and so on. You use the live server with actual players spending time, money and so on as your test server to change whatever after confirming with a gm character. It's basically like if I released a game with 4 different sets and didn't test anything then after a year, trash one set and everybody who used that takes impact. Then later on blow off another set till there is one set left. Basically what it is now. 0 Variety, no movement speed, no attack speed, no evade, no block, no anything, everyone HAS to use PoS to be viable. If you don't want to use PoS? Well you are out of luck. This isn't a rant about range fix it's about how you fix things that have potential involvement with money, practically a scam from the gaming industry.

It's actually okay to say it was bugged because of the exact effect one could discover with the same experimentation that the staff performed. We had no idea what the OG developers intended the range effect to be but that doesn't seem right.

If a summoner can attack people from outside the screen without being seen that is not ok. It's for sure not wanted by the original devs like the AS/MS stacking is not wanted. To tell the truth: When the game changed from the Barunson devs to the Gravity devs the new devs seems not to think about any side effect while the Barunson devs cared how stats are put on different items (like only shoes can get Movement Speed soulcraft effect while the "new" devs decided that giving out MS on every item is a good idea - even without any caps).

 

No other class has any Attack Range stats on their gear and I assume they didn't think that two of these sets can be mixed 3:3 or they just didn't think that people could not wear a whole set or they just didn't care. However, I am sure it was not the intention to make summoner's attacks invisible for example. 

 

I won't discuss this further because it finally results in an unnecessary discussion about that stat.  I am sure many Summoner players think it's unfair but I am also sure that many non-summoner players think it's also unfair that only Summoners can get that stat so high.
