Recently on last DDOS attack when i logged in my 30 level theif was 56 lvl merchant with some another name & was in some other map

I hope isn't my char, because It's around that level.

Are you sure its ddos? or its just packet flooding aka ping of death?

i get this alot because i play cs go and kids there are mad all the time.

check your ports and router too, i remember disabling my printer port just for this very reason.

I heard cloudflare is a good firefall for things like this. anyway best of luck to you guys

Please take your time and do it right, Camp. The people crying that it's down can darn well wait. Go outside. Pet a cat. Smell some flowers. Relax.

 

We do appreciate your work. This can't be easy, but I really want to see this server done right and be fun. So I'd rather see the servers down for a while while things are fixed rather than constantly crashing and creating more problems.

 

Cats are nasty and arrogant. And STINKY/expensive long term.

Dogs take a lot of work from an alpha male, else morons let them turn loud and excitable so they piss off the whole block.

 

Get a pair of exotic doves or catch a mourning dove illegally. (ringnecks will drive you crazy) Mourning doves are the best, even wild ones will usually tame down to the point they fly off to run a few laps then land on your hand or head.

Ping of death is a type ddos, and yes i get ping of death all the time from cs go, too many kids cant accept that u r better than them

Sounds like pserver admins are the likely conductors behind the DDOS if all the Revo-Classic servers are getting hit. Strike the Revo-Classic servers with DDOS and send agents to official forums to goad people into going to pservers. Very calculated plan.

If that's the case, it's only the really impatient people who will fall for their tricks, so not too bad if the truly patient people stick around. RO isn't an impatient-friendly game anyhow.

Pretty sure servers are kept closed not just because of ddos, but because of people-randomly-logging-into-wrong-accounts issue which has potential to turn really nasty.

Why would pserver admins even care? They're not going to make enough money to ddos multiple officials.

 

It's probably butthurt botters/banned people, or people using an exploit that requires hammering server.
