How did iRO gave out prizes back then?
Is it somehow similar to the prizes I posted from the phil championship? I cant really say much when both Astra and Camp are really busy thanks to the ddos and bio5 update
Being in an iRO champion team once every one or two years aint so bad for the bragging rights (most particularly in thor since as said a lot before we love woe'ing and having something to brag about is never a bad thing), might be a different issue in chaos though since from what ive heard a lot of your major guilds have left the game already

Item rules: https://forums.warpp...062-usrc-doubt/
With all the DDOSing going on along with trying to get Revo-Classic established, I don't foresee USRC coming back anytime soon.

USRC seems to be only creating a good combat team to battle it out with another, so there's no need to actually bleed it out in the war of emperium before qualifying as a team
In AL case however you haveto actually qualify by overwhelming other guilds throughout the "season" in order to battle it out with other qualified ones (honour lord, siege lord, wild card and such) then to the last battle (agit lord)
Man that prize pool was hella nice for the non-dollar using players

camp turn blind if the topic is about woe 100% sure he does not care about it anymore mark my word. wp already doing what old pRO do to their server focus on selling OP kafra shop items milking players while the server still alive then 1 day doomsday will come. lets just enjoy what woe scene we have right now in thor.

I am having trouble understanding the flow of the event. But it kind of sounds a lot like the old WPS system back in Iris/Loki/Chaos days http://irowiki.org/w...oE_Point_System
Questions:
1. Does this take place on the live castle maps? Or did they make event castles for the purposes of this event?
2. If I understand it correctly penalizes holding over a long period to give an advantage in the case of ties? Is this optional or an automatic thing? (Honor points versus siege points)
Concerns: Time management. When we had the WPS system i remember it being the full time job of a single GM. He lived and breathed the WoE scene and keeping up with points totals, disputes, and requests was all he did day to day. We would need a way to condense the work load to be something manageable for a staff member.

Thanks for the response
1) yes this does, basically all agits are reset every time a Phase starts,
2)One guild can not hold a castle twice in a row allowing other allies and the opposing to have its chance therefore stopping any attempt on monopolizing the same castle's honor/siege points leading to a stalemate since obviously the previous owner will have a definite advantage over the others.
The penalty is, as stated, a deduction on points. Retaining the same honor castle will null all the points taken during the woe including all siege points. Retaining the same siege castle will result in a 2 point reduction.
Siege points is easier to acquire tho since it is basically any other agit that isnt honored.
It has always been like that so the rules automatically applies.
*** back in pro they somehow are able to see the result of the woe without the constant surveillance during the woe (and i know it is kinda near impossible with the varying time lines of the two servers), iRO can solve such problem of recording the result using that site where you see the agit owners, i kinda forgot if it was by the same person as the owner of ragial or by warpportal itself though.
Even without a gm, it is even possible to get a volunteer to publicly post the scoreboards in the forums the day following the woe while the fb/twitter admin announces it on their respective pages for further reaching out to the playerbase
#####
Im not sure about the wildcards part though since it involves the votes of the playerbase.

Was reading agit lord here and there until googled the term and ended up here.
It privileges competition. It can rewards players in meaningful ways. Makes sense.
My guild has around 10 geared players able to compete with anyone on the server. We barely do WOE on its current state. Some do, dispersed under different flags and motives.
Would this kind of events give us a good reason to log in to our Mains and get off some digital dust from our equipments. Certainly!
As usual my questionmarks remain on the staff: will they care to implement it and implement it in an engaged manner that would facilitate continuity over the years? Would they market, communicate and leverage on the momentum?
If we look back, they have relied on players to do half cooked things/tournaments and even then people participated.
Not willing to distribute flack or neagativity. If anything, I like the idea. I dont see it happening as long as the community is the one pushing wp to deliver. Should be the other way around. Active staff with creative ideas delivering content for the community. Celebrating all areas of the game with projects and events.
+1 to hope.
