Basic Rules
- Players and artists from Ragnarok Online or Ragnarok RE:START are welcome to submit
- There is no limit to the amount of submissions you may post. Post away!
- Credit. You must note if you are submitting as an artist or with a commissioned work and post the name of the artist. If you're submitting commissioned art, it cannot be work that has been previously submitted to this or any other loading screen threads. It also cannot be very, very old, like done over 1 year ago. Let's keep it recent and decent
- Reposting. As previously mentioned, work that has previously been submitted to any Loading Screen Thread will not be used. However, if a player submits work they previously submitted to a contest that didn't involve the loading screens, it will be allowed to stay, but will not be eligible for the raffle drawing (as it was already awarded or had the chance to be awarded for being part of a contest).
- Plagiarism. Using specific elements taken from another artists work (while subject to interpretation) without attribution or acknowledgement of the inspiration can be too close to plagiarism, and may cause the artwork to be rejected. Likewise, entries with heavy use of stock imagery, clipart, and photographs may not be used for load screens or removed from the thread entirely.
- Quality. While the general loading screen thread is for showcasing all fanarts and is not a contest, we expect there to be some level of quality and effort put into it. The loading screen thread is open to all honest artists and we want everybody to do their best. However, if a submission is deemed as lacking effort, it will not be included in either the loading screens or the prize pool for the month. These decisions are left to the discretion of the CMs and VMods alone. If your art is not included and you would like to contest the matter, you may PM either CM Astra or VMod Cinnamon.

Submitting Your Work
1. Size. Entries must be 4:3 aspect ratio to fit loading screens. The proper size for our loading screens is 640x480px and 100KB or less. If you submit anything outside of that size, it will be readjusted to fit. If you'd like to size it yourself (this is preferred), sites like this will scale down your pictures and let you set a maximum file size.
2. Hosting. Host your images on a reliable platform. We like to use imgur, but if you've already hosted it on a personal art page (like tumblr or deviantart), feel free to use that link instead.
3. Post format. When submitting your artwork, please include the following information:

Monthly Raffle
In lieu of participation prizes, we will do a monthly raffle of all players who submitted loading screens for the month!
At the end of the month, we'll round up the names of all participants. All submitting users get one raffle entry per month regardless of how many times they submitted.
5 winners will be drawn to receive the following prize:
Costume: Smokie Knit Cap
Account bound and named, this adorable cap will be given to 5 random loading screen artists per month!
This is a new hat we'll be using for the loading screens as well as other Community events.
