The OCP finally take its final form as a DLC guaranteed in content after spending 10 units.

 

I would like to suggest:

Why not keep both systems until you figure out what does players spend the most? I know some players will try to hype and waste the x10 tickets worth 3000kp, but many others wont care at all (newbies, etc etc) and will put a 1 month + 1500 KP and waste in other stuffs, without the option to have a chance for the OCP random.

 

TBH i like the new system, but probably I will keep both

Haven't read through all the posts, hence not sure if this has been suggested but here's a suggestion:
 

Step 10: Also grants 1 gold ticket in addition to the current reward.

Exchange 5 (or 10) gold tickets for a specific item of your choice from the current list of monthly rotation items.

 

Reasoning behind this being bad luck protection where a player gets all the rare items out of the list except the one they are looking for. 

Also make sure to make the gold tickets account or character bound.

Even if you yourself dont get the desired item, the fact that the tiering is guaranteed means there will be a much higher supply of said item in the market, ppl will still price it at their discretion, but aint gonna be anything stupid like 10b Temporal Ring on release

That's fair, tradeability does ensure you get your $'s worth. I suppose the bigger concern is potential disparity in the rare+ items' zeny worth, but that's a whole other headache. Also since my suggestion would apply to everyone and not just be bad luck protection, will cause too much of just a global benefit. Wonder if there is any way to keep track of purchase history per account/character with the NPC so as to implement actual bad luck protection of some sort.

If we had the choice, they would need to raise the price. But the price raise wouldn't synergize with the VIP package, so it's better to keep the 300 and limit it within the Rare tiers. It still retains the value and it help stabilize prices, as Rare items will become more abundant from the get go. You may not get what you want, but you will be able to more easily afford it. Plus, there's 2 chances to get some good items (step 5 and 10).

"illusion of choice" option you mean. Because why would you pick the niche item in the tier over the flavour of the month meta item that everyone is after? The former would see barely any pick, and still suffer from the current scarce avaiability many items from past boxes do.

Please fix Toy Ring, give some loves for physical RK.

 

This part of effect is still not there. Still doesnt add any ATK at all. Even when my 1handed and 2handed-Sword Mastery on max level.
