Low Spawn in Turn in Maps

could you please reset the mid/high TI map now only? or does that required the reset for the whole chaos server?
people would be very disappointing if they have to wait till the next maintenance though

bummer, when is it going to be possible then?

 

i have an idea, how about some intensive testing on ROR ring on sakray server, GM?

put bunch of A F K er like 50 of them high end gears for fast killing on HIGH TI, and see if that's trully effecting the respawnn rate at all? 

leave them out for 1 day or 2, that should give a good result. (just a suggestion).

sad the fact that only our beloved cinnamon who accompany us during spawn crisis.

I would like to see Hulknamon or Red eyes cinnamon again.

People started KSing because literally all mobs are on one afker or the other. I've seen high TI. 15 a-_- in one map? seriosuly lmao. And seems like a lot of steps and no rock steps. May I know why you don't simply disbale tarot card in turn in maps or the lovers tarot card particularly? Technical difficulty or something else we are not aware of? If the staff doesn't bother fixing it, the A-_- continue to only care about themselves and not to mention the fact that they just afk so no effort really, then I can see why people resort to KSing. It's the only left aternative. And moving onto other levelling maps is also not really an option. A-_- at scaraba dungeon, NCT, Nogg, Juperos, Low TI, Mid TI, High TI. Basically all the map which have decent spawn rates are already occupied. :heh: :heh: It's the new cancer in town. With all the autocast equipment available for autocasting everything from heals to greed bots are disguising as a-_- as well. Not the gold company kind of bots but probably player setup farmer bots .

can you imagine people popping up BMX3 in advanced before HIGH TI not knowing anything only to get low respawn rate?

 my guess is they resorted to KSing the A F Kers

There have been number of attempts to fix low spawn.

What's been done this far; increased mob spawn and an NPC that auto add spawns to the map. Kindly note, the map have a limit so increasing the spawn too much may crash the zone. From what we have seen though, the attempts did not help, or barely. Also the issue was reported to kRO as seeing that jRO acknowledged an issue they have with flame basin spawn rate. At this moment, we have heard no update from the developers. 

 

Just disable the tarot card fate auto cast effect from Ring of Resonance and Advanced Ring of Resonance.

Isn't it simple, and can't you guys do it yourself?

Nobody uses RoR at Flame Basin, however, there is a common link between RoR and Flame Basin and that is monster teleportation. Don't really know whether that's the cause but it's as good a guess as any.

 

As for Nidhoggur's Nest, that's just crappy instance scripting failing to count the amount of monsters killed and has nothing to do with the monster disappearance issue.

 

I'm curious what your test scenario is. Here's what I had in mind:

 

1) Set a monster spawn (preferably a high ASPD monster such as Breeze or Novus) in job_soul. Since this map is a single cell, the monster will always teleport back to the player when it does get teleported

2) Script an item to autocast Tarot Card of Fate at 100% chance

3) Wear reflect gear and whatever is required to stay alive

4) Did my aggressive pet leave me?

5) If yes, repeat it without Tarot Card of Fate

6) Did my aggressive pet leave me again?

please, the community is basically begging you to solve this problem once and for all. 

 

to add, the low respawn problems seem to be closely related with autocast skills whom the a f ker using. the more a f kers they are, the faster the respawn got plummet down. i believe they are more than 12-15 average a f ker in HIGH TI at the present, that's unusually high number of them.

I suppose it is faster on T.I maps simply because they are actually smaller, so the monsters are already closer to the AFK'er, and the number of players on the said maps is also bigger. Low T.I usually deplets mobs way before high or mid T.I (mid kinda depends, sometimes there are like 20 AFK then it deplets faster), but crowded maps like nogg and juperos also suffer by quite a margin, nogg at the end of the week seems like a desert, for real, juperos looks nothing like on first day, altho it is usually not as bad as nogg, scaraba hall 02, even dic field, all those maps share the same factor, the AFKs, I can't tell exactly why it happens, but why not trying to modify the rings for a single week and see what happens? Modifying equipments is something common on iRO anyway, some had a really big value as that knuckle that lost the 100% extra damage, the midification was necessary to keep the balance of the game, it is justified, now that we have a problem that affects the whole game, and actually hits the economy, since less people farming aunoe/rock steps or whatever card it is, less market, less variety to new players enjoy, less effort from old players to find something interesting, more people arguing about "it is KS or not?". I sent a PM to some guy on high T.I, which probably many other people already know by know, asking him if he could at least remove the ring, since it sends mobs away, his answer were basically "I don't care and I wish your mother dies from cancer".

The problem is getting way too big, and I find hard to believe that GM's or whatever did not give a try to solve the problem, not talking about "increased respawn", but the root of the problem, so the community starts to wonder if there are restrictions, imposed by gravity, if there are restrictions from the very game code or, after all, they do only change the "root" of the problem, when it involves cash directly, like OCP items.

It seems to me that there must be a problem with respawning in general. Before there were theories about some kind of "freeze bug" where monsters were supposedly in a pseudo state of being "frozen" instead of "dead". Now its come back around to RoR Tarot card. Next it will be if a monster dies with reflect damage, or if a monster dies with exactly 0 HP, who knows what theories could come up. None of it was an issue until this year, when RoR and reflect killing has existed for many years.

 

I agree the onus is not on the player to police their own gear setups. Its Gravity's fault for implementing such gear combinations that enable this afk style of gameplay. The damage is done there. Even if mobs weren't vanishing Afk characters littering the map soaking up mob aggro is still awful to play alongside. OD2 was the same way when homunculus came out. It used to be a nice place to level up in the early game until it became functionally useless unless you were Afk as well.

 

Would it be ridiculous to open a private TI instance?

I would think you should test Tarot Card Fate auto cast with certain amount of server to client rag.

I think the spawn bug happens when a monster is killed and teleported in certain timing.

The mob decreasing have been around since even before afk leveling method exist. But the problem seem worsen by day as lots of player go afk autocast leveling method. I started playing back after a break and leveling fresh char last year in 2018 and I can say that its not the same as when I started playing during 2017 iirc when celine brooch come out in ocp. 

 

In 2017 people make party to level at Nogg, Juperos all the time. People level their lvl 85+ with powerful forever 100 chars in nogg and invite some more players/noobs for support/more dps and puller. Fast forward to this day I couldn't really see any party going on. Just lots of people afk-ing there. Probably because playerbase drop but probably also because its not worth it anymore. also most OP people go afk and/or didnt really need to party anymore with OP ocp gears.  heh such a damn shame. really enjoy time that grind playing support ab with fellow noob and guildmate, recruit non stop nogg run haha. I would do it again except gonna use bmx3 all the time to reduce time lol.

 

foot note: want to give opinion about why the mob disappearing but goes on tangent to trip on memory lane lmao.

yeah i remember this when leveling on low TI with warlock, using storm gust and lord of vermilion skills. suddenly monsters appears outta nowhere but refused to die or move. just stand there doing nothing but unable to die

Could just remove homun, Gen still broken enough and its one of the most toxic implementations the game has ever seen anyways. A game that took so much pride in forcing people to go through boring grind hell to feel special about having it made through this hellhole implements a pet that lets you afk level leech with 0 effort that even screws the few people that are left and that dont bot, its pathetic and obscure.

one of the lamer things about this scenario is the fact that people who are autocasting in lowti don't have access to pendant of harmony (level requirement 125). judging from past experiences with level requirement changes on some of the OCP gear (one of the dresses i think?) i want to say that its probably easier to change the level requirement for this item particularly than it is to disable RoR in TI or even to disable tarot card of fate.

with all the drama going on, it feels like it would be easier to convince people to switch up their builds. the problem with this idea though is that new players with not much time on their hands are going straight for the cheaper item (and RoR is way too plentiful with all various solo/guild ET parties happening). maybe some hidden solution exists, within this idea..
