Not sure at wich point he starts to use those, but it's most certainly one of the instance "triggers", like the Stephan mechanics.

From the ones we have on iRO so far, it looks like MVPs get stuck into completing one trigger mechanic before moving to the next one, so high dps at certain phases may skip them?
Need to confirm that, i only have vague memories of doing sky fortress and having the EQ spawns a bit slower because i'd start bursting him when it announced the prior mechanic. It gave me like a 15ish seconds leeway until EQs would appear.

 

Tried to solo NOGH on my RK, can't be done without a GTB shield haha. H Amdarais spams too many highly damaging spells at 20% HP remaining; it's like someone took Bakonawa mechanics and said "I'll just add a 0 or two to this number anddddddddddddddddd good".

Challenge..... accepted! But probably gonna wait 3 days unless I go with a 160 RK. Would Phoenix Muffler or Leviathan Muffler help since its Meteor and Jack Frost right.

 

PS: Will bring GTB just incase

 A levi muffler to nulify jack frost + shadow property armor should be plenty. 

Or phoenix muffler for all fire damage, and pop hagalaz for massive mdef + frozen immunity. Wear other reductions of course.

But mostly you gotta step down the fafnir to get shadow immunity.

No, you NEED a phoenix muffler +10 at min, you seriously misjudge that damn meteor storm spam, once it gets going, it melted through my HP instantly.

 

I think if you used a +10 Phoenix Muffler and Hagalaz, you could probably outlast the 20% HP phase; that, or get yourself a GTB.

If I were to do this AOGH, what would I expect then?

Lots of Fire, Water, and Undead spells from 20% HP Nigh. Amdarais?

@sigma01 hello i read that you said Contaminated can be given by npc after each mvp kills but it given me coag spell only also, no contaminated dropped by the mvp i killed earlier pls fix this bug, just wasted my time for nothing : ( also if the contaminated isnt 100% dropped pls put the drop rate here ty!

Cus you didnt do it with your GX. You would kill him before he even had a chance to heal. Or did it happen to your GX too? Seems like people who cant nuke hard enough will suffer from this heal mechanism.

I see. So either wreck Amdarais in the first 10 secs before reflect activates or do less than 1M dmg for the rest of the fight. My GX not strong enuff to do 40M in 10 secs. *feels shame*

 

Its 6s buddy, reflect kicks in after 6s. Good thing is, the reflect kicks in after you hit him, so he will die and you will get the count before you go to sleep on the floor. (Need to confirm this as it only happened twice so far. Yes shame on me)

 

You mean do less than what your HP is... if you do 100k, you will still die from the reflect.

90%, 80%, 70%, 60%, 50%. Odds are against you, and the price is relatively expensive.

Alternate between both Ygg seeds and Berries. It was a duo so i had lex and some heal from my friendly AB. Died like 5 times though cause couldn't heal in time. I was only using berry, would have been better if i brought seeds.

You need coagulated AND contaminated to enchant.

I was using both but like Nirvana pointed out it reached a point that the meteor storm killed me instantly even if i tried to move i couldnt and just gave up, well gonna try it again next time

RK with Stone Skin rune + Potions + Green shirt[Deviling] can solo NOGH. (With Twohand sword of course)

 

Boss can spawn Dark GrandCross mob, but that isn't problem. If you can eat Ygg fast enough. It took 100k dmg from something but that isn't one shot anyway.

I mean, no oneshot for RK. It not like Spamming Ygg but I got 2-3 sec to hit Ygg after 100k dmg.

 

Also Boss not really spam that 100k dmg. Meteor and JackFrost not really hit that hard compare to ulti from boss

Just party.. you only get coags from the npc anyway. And treasure room is what, 1-3? Mostly 0-1 atm.

 

All of my guildies were like... finally something that we can do together!

 

PS: It was fun bringing alts in.. just like good old OGH when we bring alts in for extra 2 coags!

Hard Amdarais missing its MVP tag? health bar is showing and no MVP reward

Holy smokes this new boots is hard to enchant. Broke more than 6 boots before it even made to the last enchant (SoL, RM, etc). Probably just my poor luck because I didn't even get the last enchant I want. On average it takes about 1b per try. Expect to break at least 10 or more to get the boots you want unless you are super lucky and catches it on the first few tries.
