Holy smokes this new boots is hard to enchant. Broke more than 6 boots before it even made to the last enchant (SoL, RM, etc). Probably just my poor luck because I didn't even get the last enchant I want. On average it takes about 1b per try. Expect to break at least 10 or more to get the boots you want unless you are super lucky and catches it on the first few tries.

Save your coags for now. You never know. Maybe they will adjust to remove the break chance.

WolfTri already said it takes on average of 1000 corrupted spells and 5000 coagulated spells to make a slotted boot with the exact enchant you want. FML.

I did say to wait. There is a patch where break chances removed.

It's like OGH, but monsters deal 2x damage. Regular mobs have 2x HP, boss monsters have 10x, Both Root and Amdarais also have some crazy skills to boot. If you are a GX though and sufficiently geared towards dual wielding MA, you will not deal with any of the mechanics they offer.

Either a lot of alts or willing to spend money to buy those  . I won't touch the boots for now..  Just aiming for the cards first

Can confirm that Corrupted Root NPC gives Contaminated Magic after second clear of the instance. My GX got Contaminated Magic on its 2nd run but my Sura alt got Coagulated spell since its the first run.

Seems that way. First run, only Amdarais NPC gives 5 Magic + treasure room. Subsequent runs, 1 each from Root and Amdarais + treasure room. 

 

2/4 of my runs today I got 0 Magics from treasure room. =(

Tried to solo NOGH on my RK, can't be done without a GTB shield haha. H Amdarais spams too many highly damaging spells at 20% HP remaining; it's like someone took Bakonawa mechanics and said "I'll just add a 0 or two to this number anddddddddddddddddd good".

 

 

 A levi muffler to nulify jack frost + shadow property armor should be plenty. 

Or phoenix muffler for all fire damage, and pop hagalaz for massive mdef + frozen immunity. Wear other reductions of course.

But mostly you gotta step down the fafnir to get shadow immunity.

 

 

No, you NEED a phoenix muffler +10 at min, you seriously misjudge that damn meteor storm spam, once it gets going, it melted through my HP instantly.

 

I think if you used a +10 Phoenix Muffler and Hagalaz, you could probably outlast the 20% HP phase; that, or get yourself a GTB.

 

Apparently he only cast Jack frost on the phase 1 of the fight I didnt see him cast him after, at first I also thought that shadow resistance was needed but turned out you just need to be outside the AoE, same area as any grand cross or grand cross of darkness before

 

 

 

I got a phone call from my boss while i was playing, so the boss went wandering and after a  ~15 minute phone call he just ended up there, I honestly think is a good spot to kill him so gonna drag him there in the future

My RK has the same build, but I can't spam DB like that. Am I doing something wrong? My macro is set to DB + MouseClick. Do you add anything in between hotkeys?

I dont use AHK at all (i use a razer mouse so i use the razer software) , the only char i use macros for right now is my RG because it really kills my fingers

 

I assume you also use SoL on your boot enchants, and well most of the time i do try to dance just like on genetic but since i didnt wanted the boss to move so i stay out of the GC of darkness i just stood still, make sure your two hand quicken is up at all time because ASPD helps a little with the spam, also it may be ping reliant, i play at ~200 ping

Set bonus should cover both Medium and Large too iirc. Not just Large.

Is your cast time is low enough? SDR is 90%?
