Hey Folks,

 

Sakray has been updated with the testing npcs

 

System Tester - 151 191 has whats needed to refine items for testing

System Tester Zeny - 148 191 gives zeny for testing
Santa Klaus - 156 194 will do stat resets for build testing

Testing NPC EXP 124 69 - Levels characters up for testing and does job changes

 

WoE has been turned on to see if it functions at 8pm tonight.

 

We will be addressing the following as we can.

 

1. Random Options on castle drops. Technically since the chests are level 1 monsters they get really poor random options right now. But doesn't seem right. So we need to address their option poor.

2. WoE Reductions

3. Adding Fever fields

4. OBB OPB OCA testing

5, The headgears mentioned before.

 

 

3/13 Changes

HE Bubblegum Added to the NPC

Castle Treasure Spawning in Prontera

Fix Santa

 

3/17 Changes

Added Fever Fields spawner mechanism to Orcsdun01
Killing 10 monsters on the map causes a Champion Monster to spawn. So far the mechanism is behaving as expected however we will test more.
 
To answer some questions that players are having regarding WoE
4 Realms will be open
5 Castles per realm
Treasures will be Classic style with unique god item parts in most castles
Emperium will have renewal stats.
 
 
Things on my todo list
Update Champion monster drops
Update Treasure Drops
Create OPB/OBB/OCA packages under the new system.
 
 
3/25 Sakray Changes and whats coming. Restart will be at 7:30pm

Frenzy Field drops are set for the Orcs Dungeon. The monsters should be dropping level 1 and 2 weapons for all jobs with random stats.
WOE Treasure drops are set. Weapons are set to have lv 99 Drops options and all the castles are set to have their appropriate pre renewal got item pieces.
Friday 3/27 we will be applying these changes to live as Part 1 of the WoE/Frenzy Fields Update
The week after abysslake OCA/OBB/OPB drops tables will be finalized. Immediately after all that goes live we will start testing the skills balance patch as we received the Sakray Testing EXEs for this.
 
The first WoE will be a test WoE arranged on Saturday this is to make sure everything fires off when transitioned from test server to live. Treasure will be disabled until 4/1 and a poll will open on 3/27 for users to tell us what WoE times will work best for them. After 4/1 WoE will be live.

There is no NPC of equipment, I left the drop rate higher, it is difficult to do tests without equipment, we do not need to wait until the next maintenance for this change.
Increase the drop rate!

the drop rate was ok .. i got tones of axe while farming my immortal heart and my GUM on .

 

yah card and equipment not here .. bit trouble to try everything ><

 

where is the fever field ?><

There is no Equipment NPC at all.
Santa does not work.
The NPC with all the taming items and junk has some cards, but not all of them. They are definitely missing Kobold Cards.

Great! that way basically solve the problem of randomness of the enchantments, players can drop the items more easily until they get what they want without wasting too much time. it was what sakray needed. a high Drop rate.

Please don't make WoE god pieces random (renewal), it's much worse than 1 assigned piece per castle (classic).

any quest that can do during this testing ?

i would like to try ..

 

will try to test according to the list ..

 

if can put all those NPC at the middle prontera will be a big help for others . many ppls seem lost inside .

Hey Camp, I sent in a ticket requesting some features to help test on sakray. Could you check it out and see if it's possible?
 
For convenience:

"Invincibility for dungeons:
I'm still trying to crack the code for the "Broken Sword/Chief's Quest" in Kunlun/Gonryun. It's always complicated to get through it because of the monsters.

Ability to memo/warp to certain coordinates in dungeons:
I tried memo'ing the spots in the dungeon, but was not allowed to. I was hoping there was a way to give us a command or something to teleport at certain coordinates. Same reason above: trying to figure out the quest.

Pet Status manipulator:
I'm figuring out the exact numbers for pet loyalty and loyalty gained while feeding. I was wondering if there was an npc that could make a pet at neutral hunger status to see how much feeding it takes for a pet to become loyal.

Hidden console:
Does the sakray server and client have a console to know what's going on behind the background? For example, once entering a dungeon, how it determines which spot will be correct for quest, and see the pet status change in action."

Please add Steel to testing NPCs, we need it to slot weapon and gear. Also I suggest making a npc for each item type (consumables, cards, gear etc.). and more cards like Raydric and Hydra would be desirable.

Unfortunately I am still waiting for my workstation to be fixed so I can apply the fixes. I will be checking the thread and doing more tomorrow.

I didn't understand, this is a server to test the woe and everything that will arrive or your character full build?
 
Of course, nobody wants to waste time on a test server, but reaching lvl 99 and full money is already necessary to test what has to be tested

I didn't understand, this is a server to test the woe and everything that will arrive or your character full build?
 
Of course, nobody wants to waste time on a test server, but reaching lvl 99 and full money is already necessary to test what has to be tested

 

Since they implemented a NPC for stat reset, I assume it's meant to test our builds as well, therefore it should have lots of cards, items and gears available on NPCs

So, I spent some time killing treasure chests in Prontera. My thoughts about the loot:

 

OCA: Already planned to be fixed... Hopefully,

Gold & Treasure Chests: Need to be NPC sellable before WoE starts.

Earring [1]: Kinda useless in renewal, but that's ok I guess.

Armor: No enchants as expected, which will make them irrelevant after fever fields drops. Any chance they could also get FF enchants?

Weapons: Best I got was an ATK + 35 Gelerdria. Can't really tell if it's working as intended until Sakray is updated to have t3/t4 enchants though.

now that I understand it, I also believe that it’s bad options for dedicating to them making them worthless to be cultivated
 
I think it would be interesting if they could randomize the level of each one that appears
 
so there could be many more variations of options and it would be a surprise box
 
 
 
about options, even killing level 100+ monsters, only 1 option is coming

Warpportal, I think you still don't understand ... but sakray will only be useful if the drop is basically 100%, nobody will stop uploading on the poring server to waste time trying to drop items on a test server ... imagine how long we will lose trying to drop cards, to test.
