Update 2 (15th Aug 2024): Blessed! Be the light ~ GM team has implemented 90% cap server wide. Though wish the cap was a bit higher ie 95% and PvM was not affected (but we know this is impossible). Now, iRO has just been improved one step further close to other official servers, as intended. Today was one of the greatest victory for the light.

Thank you very much to GM team for listening to WoE community. Your hard work is greatly appreciated.

Update 1 (12th Aug 2024): A 100% Player resist Sniper in action today. Tell me if this looks more balanced. Today WoE TE might look more balanced to some people because most strong players skipped this WoE TE. This video already shows how just 1 Sniper (my good friend) could solo a whole guild AND wiped the guild. Imagine 20 of well-geared Sniper because this is just 1. The guild that got wiped has many members who are also well geared. Without 100% player resist build, such thing like this would never happen.

PS. See how braindead Lord knights, Super novices, High Wizards, and more kept hitting and all missed? Does this look balanced? Think for a second lol

Since today we're getting the Orc Successor Helm which finally allows players to reach 100% player resist. Do you know how broken and stupid this is? No further explanation. Disable this headgear in WoE TE (and maybe WoE 1/2 but this can wait. WoE 1/2 already dead and Sura have been running around with 100% player resist for months. Not a big deal). Otherwise, increase Orc Successor Helm level to 100+ for an ez fix solution. So it cant be used in WoE TE. Thank you.

Now this comes to my 2nd QQ'ing. Buckle up as its gonna be a long justice time. This is such a big disappointment. It has come to my knowledge that it is possible to reach 100% player resist in WoE TE for a long time, even before the arrival of the Orc Successor Helm. Players can use a "Golem Stone" in WoE TE to make it happen. What does a golem stone do? "Instantly consumes 300 of your SP and in return, decreases 50% damage received from other adventurers for 10 seconds.". This is a very game breaking as it allows a person to tank anything. With auto pot cheat, this literally makes a person unkillable for the duration of time. What is a big deal right, you ask? It lasts only 10 seconds. This Golem Stone has no cooldown, I believe. Thus a player can spam the stones and become immortal as long as they have the golem stones with them. It also only weights 1.

Eh? What is a big deal? It is a legitimate item to use in WoE TE. Well .... I've also come to realize that some players abuse the NPC "Valfreyja Instructor" to gain unlimited Golem stones during WoE 2 time. The NPC Valfreyja Instructor is supposed to give a cooldown of 1 hour. However, he is bugged. There is absolutely no cooldown. This means, abusers can dupe Golem stones as many as they want.

How to abuse Valkreyja instructor NPC to get unlimited WoE Support Boxes during WoE 2 time (4-6 pm Saturday server time). The NPC at 96,203 in aru_gld map gives a quest during Woe 2 that rewards the guild leader based on current castles owned. Issue is the quest is missing it's 1 hour cooldown and the reward can be received infinitely for the duration of WoE 2. Note: You can compare it to the npc at 270,117 in sch_gld map that has it's 1 hour cooldown.

Here is what you should do to fix the problems.
1. Fix this Valfreyja Instructor bug and ban players who abuse it. It should be very easy to do and track.
2. Disable Golem Stones in WoE TE.
3. Disable Frost Giant Bloods in WoE TE.

You know what is funny? Players can legitimately dupe Bloody branches. Basically, the Valkreyja instructor NPC gives out a WoE Support Box, which contains these 3 important items that break your game.

1. Bloody Branch: Bloody branch is a cash item. Now some players are getting them for free. So kind of you WP.
2. Golem Stone: It instantly consumes 300 of your SP and in return, decreases 50% damage received from other adventurers for 10 seconds. This is a game breaking in WoE TE. And as I explained, players who abuse Valkreyja instructor NPC to give unlimited WoE Support Boxes can have unlimited supply of Golem Stone.
2. Frost Giant Blood: It instantly consumes 3,000 of your HP and in return, increases your Physical/Magic damage on player enemies by 100% for 10 seconds. Just like Golem Stone, this is a game breaking. And players who abuse it can get unlimited supply of Frost Giant Blood to use in WoE TE too.

It has been heavily abused by some players recently to receive thousands of consumables, can you investigate and take proper action against these players. Trickle down effect where they handle the cause of these items existing in quantities they should not have.

If you dont care about players getting free Bloody branches (cash item by the way that players like me have to swipe, but rest assured, I for one wont spend money until you address this issue. This is literally a duping item issue lol), then at least you should care about players who do WoE TE. Dont be shy. Disable Golem Stone and Forst Giant Blood. Fix the bug wont do ass-_- as abusers probably have stocked over 30k+ and players can also dupe them too.

Regarding Orc Successor Helm, perhaps the set bonus with Orc Warrior Card should be removed.

 

As for the bug abuse, it should not be hard to fix the npc right. Punishing the players that abused it would be a step in the right direction.

Woe te will become like woe 1 and 2 unfortunately, because there is no true rebalance and it is filled with bugs, cheats and ocps, no strategy works anymore if you don't join in being a cheater like the others, with this hat only 1 or 2 jobs will work, they should remove all the ocps, that would allow you to play a more balanced woe te with better strategies, where all jobs have a real value, otherwise this will be like woe 1 and 2, where you only see suras and chasers :S. DISGUSTING

Are you talking about WoE TE? If so, I think only PW can one shot 95% redux atm, but thats it. There is a counter to Sunos and PW anyways, and they do quite bad in GvG.

But if youre talking about WoE 2, no one cares at this point. So I think it doesnt matter for now lol

Regardless, achieving 100% shouldnt be allowed in WoE TE. If left unattended, TE will just become like WoE 2, dead. Or it will become War of Snipers instead.

While we at it, should disable all MvP in WoE TE anyways. But for now, lets get them to look into the 100% demi redux issue ie Orc headgear, Golem stone, and Frost giant blood.

Please just leave this to WoE TE only, @Yliw made a great point here as the items can be stripped so don't touch WoE 1/2. If WP decides to change the item function, they need to do a full refund for everyone who bought the item specifically for its ability to reach 100 demi reduction.

 

As you guys mentioned, sura/inqui has been doing this for months and the class is insanely broken to the point that almost everyone is a sura/inqui in WoE. This item just levels the playing field a bit and not to mention the massacre that happened to ranged classes once the ability to reach 100% anti range was introduced so why not fix this too?

 

Just to add, an Inqui can still probably 1 shot you even if you have 100 demi reduc because of the insane amount of max HP they can achieve (+15 striking mail + tgk card)

I see, either way why do Inquis get to be 100% demi immune (for months now) while others like the GX, WH etc get annihilated on the spot with out mercy? add the fact that they can just snap everywhere lol. This should have been stopped way back before this @$$ class were able to do it, and now because all jobs have access to it everyone starts complaining?

 

Why do range characters get no fix? being 100% range immune has been going on for a while now too? making their bread and butter useless, not everyone has access to crystal blade necklace.

 

Leave WoE1/2 alone because equipment can still be stripped and some magic skills can still be useful to counter being 100 demi immune.

- You need to have the shield equipped to have the 100% demi resist to take effect, so it means you do not have GTB equipped (manhole, white imp etc). Traps bypass demi resist and WH can now walk with out being deleted .01 sec after entering an agit, I hope this makes sense to you.

WoE TE however is different, I don't play in it but I do understand that there is no way to counter demi immune so I agree in disabling this item in WoE TE ONLY.
