Yes, like the topic says, when are you going to do something about bots?

You can't even grind anymore there are so many of them, and they can't even die thanks to the power of friendship(OCP, Kachua), theres even 2 spinning bots at amiticia2 with unlimited SP supply that keep spinning since 1 year( i dont know about this but i will assume it) 24/7, the point is, you can't even walk or comfy grind anymore since the maps are full of them and is not even fun to grind (since is the only thing to do in this server, thanks to the sad state of woe, and the non-existant pvp, wich maybe can be solved if you added gear only for pvp, but you don't care so will never ever happen).
So do something about them because the only point to play IRO is to grind, there are no more activities, so do something about it. We are only 1884 players wich only 300 are real players, do something about it, at least save your own business, if you don't want then it give it to another company to rescue it, but have a little of shame and do your job.

Just a reminder that both encouraging others to break the in game rules and making baseless accusations that the GMs are favoring to certain players are against the forum rules (specifically Promoting Rule-breaking and spreading FUD) and will see your messages removed.

 

As to the topic I feel this is a very valid concern but I don't think we have the old style bots anymore as EAC seems to be blocking those. But those elaborate macros which some players use might as well be bots and should be blocked.

Well I'm glad that my post encouraged a VM to step forward considering this thread has been active for some time now.....

 

So maybe is does take someone like me to say things that cannot be said for action to move forward. One may never know.  

 

1. Encouraging botting I would never promote something that I myself have done I was stating why I see the reasoning for people to bot and people DO bot...

 

2. Making accusations, yes but that's all they were accusations, assumptions, there was no way to prove that anything I said was indeed true.

 

So yeah I do see why my post was removed it was bit risky. I'm glad it was liked though. XD

Judging from just forums and let me repeat that....Judging for just FORUMS I can see that the game has influenced you in one way or another, not to mention the countless videos you have about iRO on youtube in addition you have been a member here on forums since 2012 yet here you still are someone who said they have literally been ban in game already and still trolling the forums if anything you are in par with the bots no matter what type of rule breaker you are a ban is a ban whether you are botting or breaking the rules in one way or another.

 

You do owe iRO quite a bit of your life actually....Just food for thought.

Yeah feel you. Thats why iRO is so dumb to being too F2P. We need more P2W like other advanced server such as jRO, kRO, etc. I heard players have a chance to get MvP cards from cash shop? Damn iRO is too backward lmfao

The thing is they (The gm staff) have a weird policy about automation (Botting). They separate scripting as something different of Botting when in fact scripting is a subset of Botting. 

 

So, you can use scripts potions for WoE, Scripts for leveling afk and so. Basically you could make an 'advance script' with some programming language with image recognition and they'll do nothing because: 1) for them, the waste of money on Easy AntiCheat lose credibility 2) If they do something, the big rich whales of the server and the gamblers, abusers of the gacha system will feel annoyed (Because they are one of the main scripters, you can corroborate what i say joining the 'best' WoE Guilds on the server).

Careful for saying things that are true cause people don't like to hear the truth and some may not even understand it...and what people don't understand they reject or fear. Especially conspiring against GMs. I know because I'm a cautionary tale.

Worse thing i did was enter in one of those discords with woe guilds and i don't even play woe. Everyone "macroing" with zero shame.

The best guild? If you mean our guild, the video below is a proof no macros or auto used. Even I solo killed multiple bots/macros/scripters in WoE hahaha. The light shall never fall

 

However if you're talking about our enemy guild, yeah ... they will need jesus after all these scripters and zergs and still die.

Even the most shaddy guild/discord that sells cheats and bots got blinded by my holy justice light xD

The admins should be working hard on monitoring the servers and removing bots and maybe banning IPs.

 

They however, should not be banning innocent players and should give reasons why our accounts were banned.

 

I've sent many support tickets with screen shots and re-plays like a month up to the point where I got banned.

 

I screen shot and record all my trades in Eden.

 

And they just say that investigation was concluded and my account will remain suspended.

 

No Hack, no VPN, no RMT, no Harassing, and still banned.

It's ridiculous the number of times bots have just TPed in and precision-stolen my ether dusts and TPed away. Freaking frustrating. The bots really need to go! It's been long overdue.

GMs actually have been patrolling though. But to make it easier to catch bots, disable any teleports lol!
