Cleaned up some bots in WoE 2 today. Felt good.

I think GMs do not know how to distinguish bots from actual players. They only ask if the players are online or not and they are done. I encountered a GM at CT yesterday and I told him there were two bots. Unfortunately I still see them today. The bots were at max level, not picking up rare loots out of Greed range. It's very obvious. I mean what is a max level player doing in a dungeon? So this only means you can bot as long as you attend to it.

Referring to some smart ass noob: RNG is RNG bro. You can open 1,000,000 keys and not get 1 0.19% item. RNG working as intended.

Now that's duuuh Are you for real?  Botting and trading shares a goal in common, why do you think there are so many bots farming seeds, cards and other materials, not only they bot for levels but specially they love to farm trading products, thank you for the good laugh btw, i must recognize GM's are cleaning some maps so that's good.

I sincerely believe that they will never remove the bots...and I think there are 2 reasons:

 

1. To have a decent bot, you have to have:

a) Invested many hours of gaming to have decent equipment (the minority does it)

 

b ) Having spent real money at the beginning, which would be a reason for not eliminating these bots (since it indirectly generates $$ profits for the server and we know that the real intention of all this is to generate $$)

 

2. A large part of the players do not have enough time to play all day, resorting to this system (I don't do it, but it is a reality), if there were a massive ban, a large part of the community would leave, giving indirectly resulting in losses to the server.

 

I have played on pirate servers in the past and they have created a thousand ways to detect and ban bots, but strangely the official server has not implemented them.

 

I wish I was wrong, but I repeat that no significant change will be made in this regard (this is just like politics, if there is money involved, corruption will be ignored)

Macro potting. Dont know why you think its AP'ing when I never leave the computer ie move and hit enemies. And as far as I'm concerned, I'm potting much slower than most people, but still solo wipe. I wonder why. The strength of Justice or maybe try carry 5000+ Sashimi xD

Edit: You also forgot Bugs Sanctuary, and MKH (Penix's special guild where Penix personally offered his tools), that I had solo wiped, without using any cheats, you know our guild is full of legit strong players

Uh the botting is nuts it needs to stop. It's insane it's out of control it needs to be dealt with.

I'd actually rather have them implement a small cooldown on every healing potion and all skills in game actually. This should solve the lowest cheating bars, AP/NDL     

 

Lets hope this wont affect PvM players like the 90% cap and new updated EAC

Saw a bot infestation in Sunken Ship. Bots that deal big amounts of damage and teleport instantly when they notice you.

 

Or maybe they have super human reflexes, as they sometimes do an attack first and teleport at the same time.

Why not just ban them all if they have like "iROEXE" etc.

 

You can even check if they even have EAC running instead of checking once when open the game.

The server is full of macros. There are no more bots. The Brazilian team decided to REMOVE the value of items (1 zeny) sold to NPCs, thus killing botting for farming. Also, ending farming for honest people. 

 

The server no longer generates Zenie, thus causing an inflation in the value of P2W items (KP or ROPS). 

 

Currently, there was a judicial investigation with a player, where he was investigated for duplicating items and mainly, spheres worth 1B. (This sphere is equivalent to the "1 Billion Zeny Token"). Where he was a supplier of Items and Zeny (illegally and outside the game), he was permanently BANNED in MORE THAN 13 ACCOUNTS. So... Keep an eye out! The proof of the DUP is explicit in several places. The Staff, on the other hand, denies that the DUPs occurred, even ridiculing the people who made videos about it, including mentioning the judicial investigation. So, yes... We must be VERY careful with the company that is taking care of Ragnarok. Even if it happened on another server, it is undeniable that it occurred under the administration of Warpportal and mainly, Gravity. Where the same, is investigated by Lootbox, as far as I saw above...

Now that sounds really lame, this is why preventing a bot infestation is good for both parts (Warpportal and users) it benefit us a clean server free of cheaters, tons of mmos (and online games) have died thanks to cheaters, and IRO has already bad fame due to cheaters in general, just imagine that guy Phoenix is doing business with that and warp portal don't sue him? that's really nuts.

I notice current player has amazing reflex that it pick up any monster/item i try to target (Biolo, Cardinal, EM) ... those are call aimbot and it is very hard to report them since they play like normal (by walking around) with the script running in background (aimbot). Those are the one I find it very frustrating to play against. If i were newbie (warportal main income), i would just uninstall the game. xD
