Ok what exactly happened I'm lost lol. And it was last night, he logged in normally without any problems. He can log in right now too completely normally.

And I really don't think the patching is the issue. I think it's a path to the server or something that somehow recently downloaded/installed valkyrie clients are missing.

Your might be one of the people who is blocked.

So far the only option is to wait for Gravity staff to get on Monday and Put a fully updated version of Ragnarok's client.
Also, If somebody would copy there "Working" RagnarokOnline Folder and compress and upload it on a Download site Some may have working clients.
Or they have a error with there fire walls and blocking the wrong regions. I live in the West Coast of the US.

Blocked? I've been playing for more than a year, and I'm in the US, why would I be blocked? XD See i reinstalled to fix a sprite error, and now valk wont work. Before the reinstall yesterday i was on fine.

It's something with the Client-Server connection for recent downloads/installs, not patches.

Alright, I am new to iRO, I did use to play on a private server but I found out that Ragnarok is free so why not give it a go?

But like many of you here, I too am receiving the errors.I am trying to use Br4nd0n's fix and ill update if it does work.

Well I did a reinstall But when I went to run the Free one it Gave out an error about Ragexe so there is something wrong with it or the patch server like you said. Well back to playing around. -.-

I'm pretty stuck on the idea of waiting for our friends the GMs to come back and fix it. It really doesn't seem to be a patch issue...

If anyone here is desperate enough, you can re-install, and use the 'fix' befor running the patch client for the first time. The idea would to give it that older patch2.txt so it can catch up. Strange Question But everyone name your OS your useing when you get the 404 Error it is worth a look. I am using XP SP3.

You guys can copy your current patch2.txt file to your desktop or another location and edit the one in the Ragnarok folder so no info is lost.

I am not going to download the full install but how do I use the dang patch, I installed it and selected my Ragnarok folder and it put a file in...now what?

Why complain about having to re-download you may have to Download again anyway so why not?
Cause its worth a try.

Anyway I will download it first I guess though at 150kbs it will take about 3-4 hours.
