be sure you're only updating "UserPatchVersion=00000501" , not the game version.

okay,now in my version.dat only have:try adding a file (00000501.RTP) in the folder and update the version.dat to that 1 file.
be sure you're only updating "UserPatchVersion=00000501" , not the game version.
UserGameVersion=00000500;
UserPatchVersion=00000500;
UserPatchVersion=00000501;
then i click save.
so next i only need to download 501~512 from mediafire right..then put in patches folder.then just clik UPDATERUSA.EXE?

Uninstall the game, then delete the remaining files in the requiem folder, restart the pc and install the game again, but this time dont do it inside the ProgramFiles folder, do it in another place.
Open the version.dat file (with notepad) inside the Requiem folder, it will said:
UserGameVersion=00000XXX; (where XXX is the number of the version you have: dont modify it)
UserPatchVersion=00000XXX;
Then can place (if the files are zipped, place them unzipped) the manual patches (from the XXX to the latest one, 512 atm) in the Patches folder (if the patches folder doesnt exist, create it) and modify the version.dat like this:
UserGameVersion=00000XXX; (where XXX is the number of the version you have: dont modify it)
UserPatchVersion=00000512; (latest patch)
Attention, dont modify the UserGameVersion or the game will get corrupted. Only change the UserPatchVersion and save.
Then run the game and the UserGameVersion should update alone when the game install the patches.

Sorry, looks like the link in my sig is broken, the client downloader is still available here: http://www.playrequi.../clientdownload but you need to be logged into WarpPortal first (you will be asked to log in after you click download.
Have you tried the filefront links in my sig?

if you are using winrar, just right-click part1 then choose to "Extract"
this will extract all the files, then you just need to run the setup.exe

ok launcher update stopped at 501.rtp,how do i do a manual patch?
If you are using windows seven or vista, try to move the installed game outside the programfiles folder and try to run the updaterusa.exe once again and see if it patch.
If that doesnt work:
Try this: maybe is bcs your windows is blocking the game from update.
Uninstall the game, then delete the remaining files in the requiem folder, restart the pc and install the game again, but this time dont do it inside the ProgramFiles folder, do it in another place.
Open the version.dat file (with notepad) inside the Requiem folder, it will said:
UserGameVersion=00000XXX; (where XXX is the number of the version you have: dont modify it)
UserPatchVersion=00000XXX;
Then can place (if the files are zipped, place them unzipped) the manual patches (from the XXX to the latest one, 512 atm) in the Patches folder (if the patches folder doesnt exist, create it) and modify the version.dat like this:
UserGameVersion=00000XXX; (where XXX is the number of the version you have: dont modify it)
UserPatchVersion=00000512; (latest patch)
Attention, dont modify the UserGameVersion or the game will get corrupted. Only change the UserPatchVersion and save.
Then run the game and the UserGameVersion should update alone when the game install the patches.
You can download the manual patches from this thread.

Sakana I understand you guys have a life and what not. But this is an ongoing issue that the players SHOULD NOT be held responsible to fix on there own if they wish to play the game. Let alone try and find ways around it. I don't see why it can't be like it was. www.playrequiem.com download, click download client tab wait 30 minutes or so (depending on your PC) DONE! Now it's try and download that way get Requiem failed to install get the manual patch files waste 2 hours downloading them then another one hour because for some dumb reason Requiem feels the need to reinstall the patches you just got done downloading. then when done let game update play for 5 minutes and then DC with an error saying it installed incorrectly.
BIG improvement wouldn't you say?
