ok so my problem is that when i try to run dragon saga bug trap instantly pops up saying there was a crash detected ive one your checklist ive sent tickets and it still doesnt work any sugestions?

I cant install Dragon saga client.
Windows 7 (RU)
What can i do?

Hey!

I tried to patch my client and delete the "patch.id" and says the patch is complete,

but when I try to press "game start" it opens like 5 sek then it closes. So what am I doing wrong here? :s

This issue has been encountered by several players yet.

 

As strange as it sounds: Try to rename your "Dragon Saga" folder - or re-install to another location than the default one (for example rename or re-install it to "Sagon Draga" or whatever) and the start the game.

 

Until today I can't figure out what the problem is, but this is the solution for most players.

nope, I still got the same problem. I tried to re-install, rename my dragon saga folder and install it some other place then the default :/ 

I yrally wanna play on this server.

Okay, I can give you links where I uploaded the whole completely pre-installed game by PM.

Then the patch takes just some seconds. If you want to try this, please let me know.

I stuck in this trouble, i download and setup, update the game via client which provided on the website. After installation, i lauch the game without any trouble. That's great.

But, when im in the game, even if i use internet alone, no download, no online watching, no mobile connection, my game ussualy lag. I hit monsters and my dame appear after 0.5 minite at all maps.

please help me, i really love this game!

let's look at some things:

  • Did you try disabling AntiVirus and/or Firewall while playing? If this helps, add Dragon Saga to their exceptions
  • Do you have the current video card driver installed?
  • Are you playing on WiFi (WLAN) and having a weak signal sometimes?

"Dragon Saga (I/N) has stopped working". And the only thing Windows can tell me is that somehow, somewhere, something went wrong. Great.

Any idea where this could come from ? I've tried a few things listed on other posts, and still can't find a way to avoid crashing repeatedly. For now, I have tried : disabling antivirus (Comodo) / adding dragonsaga.exe to exclusions or trusted programs / NOR13G4's fix. None of these seem to work.

My computer is up to date (including drivers, Microsoft redistributables).

 

Changed to Avast : we never know... Edit : Desn't seem to have changed anything.

Thank you for help, but I check all 3 way you talk to me, its still not work :(

My video card driver has been updated for newest version

No matter i use wifi connection or Lan connection, that problem still occur

I haven't used any Antivirus software yet

 

Any another to resolve this :(

Hmm, I know this happens from time to time. Seems like it is a client bug of some sort.

Do you get this problem that extreme just recently, or did you always have this problem?

If you only got it recently, have you installed any new game, software the last time?

(excluding your avast try)  :p_smile:

 

DS does not like some other game software, software, tools etc.......very much. Maybe something is causing trouble..

From which country are you trying to connect to the game?

 

Could it be your internet provider currently has some kind of issues. You could try to call it and ask if something is wrong.

Such high lags can definately be caused by ISP problems too.

 

Oooh, I just read you don't have any anti virus software installed.

This can very well be your problem.

 

Explanation, your computer is full of virus, addware, trojans, bit coin miners doing their things in the background all the time. This can slow down your internet connection to a minimum, as well as the whole computer.

Get yourself a free anti virus software (avast for example), install it, let it run. If it finds something bad installed let the tool delete it. And afterwards try running DS again.

It never crossed my mind that Java or Skype could be responsible for this. Let's give it a try at least.

 

As for this antivirus thing... You should download Malwarebytes anti-malware to avoid pesky programs to install their things, and Comodo, best free antivirus you can find for now. It's a bit annoying at first since it's very suspicious, but soon it just works out splendidly.

Btw is the exe file of Dragonica has not finished installing so does that have to do with the problem? Should I bother myself with the msi file because I don't know what to do with it?

If you get this error the installer is telling you that there are files missing. Starting the .msi file is right so far, because this is the installer, but it seems the downloader hasn't downloaded the files properly.

 

I could upload the installer files to a mirror, but since I am not able to at the location where I am at the moment, this would take some hours.

This is no private server here.

You are posting in the forum of the last official Dragon Saga server there is. 

 

But it seems you are preferring to play on a private server. So be it.

Don't expect anyone helping you though. Due to two reasons, this is the last official Dragon Saga server forum you are posting and not the one belonging to the P-server you play on  and  we do not even  have said coins on here.

 

 

(We have waaaay better stuff on here.......just so you know)
