Having Client/Connection Issues?

Have you tried...
- running the installer again and choosing the "repair" option to have it repair any issues that may have occurred intially. The client may have experienced a corruption of files and have caused it not to be able to run properly.
- checking your Antivirus program to make sure it is not blocking the game from connecting. Also, updating the anti-virus program and running to make sure nothing else is hindering the connection as well. Another solution is to disable the antivirus or malware program's realtime scanning.
- checking your firewall settings to be able allow Dragon Saga to connect. This may be on a a network or a router.
- checking your port settings to allow Dragon Saga. Port Forwarding is required. The ports that Dragon Saga runs from are 16268, 12031, and 12032.
- defragging or doing a disk clean up for the drive that Dragon Saga will be installed to.
- making sure that during either installation, patching, or connecting that no other programs are running in the background.
- running the client and/or the patcher as an Administrator. This applies to users running Windows Vista or Windows 7.
- removing all previous versions of Dragon Saga so that it does not interfere with the current client as it may be running off old registry files.
- re-patching the client by removing the patch.id file and running the patcher again.
- running a clean installation of Dragon Saga. In order to do this, you must remove all previous files that are related to the Dragon Saga installation. Then download the client from the link below and running the installer.

- the final solution, last resort, of downloading the Trend Micro program called Hijack This. The program will scan the PC and see if there is any malware or spyware that may be hindering programs that are being run. A text file will be created and this file should be sent into the WarpPortal Support team found here.
We hope one of these solutions will help resolve your issues.
