coming up on rebirth, no idea what to do for my SC

so uhhh yea. first character, no idea what kind of SC's are out there.

I hear firetrap? but dunno how to make one stat/skill wise.

What i want is mostly pvm/mvp. but i might woe when i learn the game more? does such a SC exist?

I hear that woe builds can do just as well in pvm/mvp, so maybe...

help would be greatly appreciated.

ty ill read those tomorrow, but thing is, is it just me or those skill calcs dont work in the first link

Oh Himeyasha was updated to a new server recently.

This should work instead: http://irowiki.org/~himeyasha/skill4/

Here is my recommended standard skill tree for a Chaser as a minimum requirement: Here

You have 26 extra skill points to choose from at that point. Maelstrom is nice, because it acts like a Magnetic Earth and can be used for MVPing as well.

ok so i played around with stats.

and so far I have:
93 vit (+7 job bonus) = 100
100 dex base
95 int (+5 job bonus) = 100

I have enough points to bring another stat past 100... I was thinking Agi since i dont really care for carrying capacity... (Besides i can get gym passes)... but i was also thinking making dex 120... kinda stumped here....

also, what are the primary skills to fight lower tier mvp's? i never mvp'd before lol

off topic: guardiantk, nice archer sig <_< excited for fate/stay zero?

Those stats sound about right. It's more for your personal preference on what you want to do with the rest as a Chaser. If you added Agi, you could perhaps do well as an AutoShadowSpell Chaser for the fun factor. If you added 120 base dex, you'd do much more Trap damage as well as have higher Divest rates for WoE.


lol thanks. Yes, I'm definitely awaiting the Fate Zero movie that's planned to be made. Especially since the writers of the light novel are Nitroplus. The light novel was amazing. Can't wait to see Zero Berserker animated. *_*

hmm i want to restate my question actually

what i want to know is will 100 agi increase my survivability, in either woe/pvm/mvp, or will it be not that noticeable? and i dont know how the calculations go, but % wise, how much dmg would be increased from 100 to 120 dex?

edit: and while leveling as high thief/stalker, without agi, what stat should i invest in? was thinking of vit for survivability but not really sure here since ive always put agi first lol

Basically the first thing you want to get is 100dex, 100vit, and 50int.
After that, shadow chasers are very open and you can really play with the rest of the stats as you please. Most people get 100 int for the freeze resistance although that is really all it is good for. Some people get 70+ agi, and some max dex at 120 base which can get real expensive.
As far as agi is concerned, it is really your "ease of use" stat. It will do absolutely nothing for you in WOE/MVP. It WILL help you mob more easily by allowing you to dodge hits instead of getting hit and flinching which is helpful since we lack endure. Don't expect it to help you tank though, most of the time as a shadow chaser you'll have 20+ mobs on you at a time in which case agi is completely useless.

As for early levels, I would suggest get a bow and go full dex. If you want a bit of survivability get some vit. Early levels are tough though if you don't have a priest with you to toss some heals since you will be fighting from short range with no defensive stats. It gets much easier once you get claymore trap though, and once you get chaser, it is such a joke to level with firing trap...

yea it seems like by looking around... agi is not necessary @ endgame? i mean it does increase aspd but i wont really attack normally anyways right? im a real indecisive person lawls

another question. i know ASS is good for pvm. but for mvp, is it?

ASS is a completely different build. These builds focus on trapping since that is by far the most efficient method of leveling. If you are looking to play ASS chaser, you should look at some other builds.
