When you click on a category on the left (for example Items), it will display all the evo 1-hand sword
But probably 90% of the people who click on Items want to see another category (like Shoes for example), so the sword list is downloaded & displayed for nothing 90% of the time
Same thing when you click on Shoes: it displays Common shoes, but most of the people who click on Shoes want to see 1 of the 8 other job categories, so the common shoes list is downloaded & displayed for nothing
So could you arrange it so that no item list is displayed until we have clicked on the category & job we want?

That probably happened when I made the drops into search links.Hey PurpleYuoko,
First of all, really appreciate for all the hardwork you've put into the site. It really helped me a lot.
A question though: last time, if I remembered correctly, the monster drop were colored according to the type of items (unique, blues, yellows, etc). But recently when I enter the site, all the drops seemed to be colored white. Is there a reason why you did this? I hope you could revert to the old coloring system (if everyone else agrees), because I like to use it to check on Uniques that kings drop.
Once again, without you, ROSE would be damn complicated. Cheers
Most likely messed up my CSS.
There was no intention to make all the drops come out white.
I will fix this ASAP.
Thanks for pointing it out.
[ABE] Fixed color coding of drops. As suspected it was due to the "link" CSS over-riding the specified color

Suggestion to make browsing your website easier:
When you click on a category on the left (for example Items), it will display all the evo 1-hand sword
But probably 90% of the people who click on Items want to see another category (like Shoes for example), so the sword list is downloaded & displayed for nothing 90% of the time
Same thing when you click on Shoes: it displays Common shoes, but most of the people who click on Shoes want to see 1 of the 8 other job categories, so the common shoes list is downloaded & displayed for nothing
So could you arrange it so that no item list is displayed until we have clicked on the category & job we want?
Yes that could be done easily enough if it would really help.
The output list could be replaced with a message saying "Please Select your Category" or something
At the moment when the link is sent, it automatically looks to see if a category is selected and if none is found then it reverts to the default common stuff.

hey purple I noticed on your site I was looking for the location of the second level dealer equipment and it only showed the UW equipment. When I checked under the lower loevel dealer they were in there.
If you are referring to the "Bomber" set or the "Redfield Chairman" set then the reason they show up in the lower level dealer gear is because that is exactly what they are.
Neither of these sets has any second job requirement, only a level requirement.
You can be a dealer at level 120 and wear the "Redfield Chairman set before you do your second job quest.
That's just the way that NARose made the items. not a lot i can do about that lol
Same thing for the UW equipment. It has a dealer second job requirement so that is where it ended up.
I dump this data directly from the game client so whatever job requirements the game uses are automatically reflected in the web site.
Do you mean the Mana Steam gear or the Mana Fusion gear? I assume you mean Mana Fusion since mana steam is listed as dropping at several places. Also there is no info on where to get the mana gear. very nice site though I will advertise it as much as I can.
As far as mana Fusion goes, the base item drop but none of the blue versions drop at all.
My drops data is what the NARose development team gave me. If my site says it doesn't drop then either
a) It doesn't drop at all.
b)I was given bad drop information by the dev team.
have you ever actually seen anyone wearing or selling Legendary Mana Fusion gear? I don't think I have. i think they just forgot to add it to the drops list

Probably because Holy was a blue prefix in the past

Shouldn't really matter what it was in the past since the "blue number"for specific items is a separate field in the client STB database.FYI, the (yellow) Holy Staff is colored in blue in drop lists
Probably because Holy was a blue prefix in the past
It could be that this was one of the items i had to make a special exception for in the data dump code though.
There are a number of items that come out wrong for one reason or another so i had to build a corrections table.
I will check into it.
Thanks for letting me know.
[ABE] fixed now. Also affected the Holy Wand

In regard to the previous post, on the white-colored drops from monsters, I have just realized something. I am running the latest IE, and the problem still persists. However, once I turn on the "compatibility mode", I was able to see the different colors (blue, purple and white color drops). I am presuming it's the way IE handles the CSS. Anyway, just wanna share this with ya

It's a LOT more work than just dumping all the client data into my database for regular items.
I need to build a complete data base for all the chains, their originators, prerequisites, rewards along the way and so on then actually design a user interface that makes sense and is not too complicated.
Updates
Well as we have some new stuff and some changes to skills, I've just spent the last hour or two bringing everything up to date.
Updated all the newest values for the skill trees.
Also included The new "Flow" outfit and the summer box that you can get it from.

I just added a like button to the site.
May be adding some other stuff soon. just have to do so in such a way that it won't mess up the layouts

Most gems don't have a second stat.Purple there is a bug in the gems. When you click on them to see the information in the detail panel or what ever you call it. It doesnt show both stats.
If I scroll down to Sunstones, the second stat is working fine for me.
Are there any particular gems that are not working for you?

I'm sorry but i have absolutely no idea what you mean by "air application"Can you make a air application of the site??
Are you talking about Adobe Air? I've never played with that at all so i have no idea how easy it would be.

That's not actually a seperate stat. It's derived from the main stat.
I will check the site code and see about adding it to the display.
