Updated items and skills for version 302.

hi, i tried out the search function on Otherworldly Wood and it didnt work ;x just so you know

Make sure you are in the right section first.
You have to select "materials" from the main menu before you can search for anything like otherworldly wood.
The search functions only work within the current menu category.

I just tested it on otherworldly wood and it worked OK for me.

oHHHHHHHH thats poop. is there nayway u can make it so i dont have to be in the right section?
it'll make things a lot easier

it would be possible but I would have to run about 20 queries instead of 1so the load speed would be a hell of a lot slower.

I will look into a way that uses a lookup table. that will cut the time down a bit. just need to set up a bunch of data first though

Purple, i cant determine the skills of a certain job whether it is a magic reliable attack or not. It seems the skills are not updated.

I'm as much in the dark as you are about which skills are reliable and which are not.
I have yet to figure out where that information is stored in the client files. As soon as I know I will be updating my data.

OK I figured it out.

They hid the data in a part of the client that i don't normally bother looking in so i had to make some changes to my code to pull it out.

Anyway, the information about reliable attacks is all up there on the site now.

Quick question regarding quests.

I now have the full Hero Quest (and a few other bits) in my database and am working on the best way to display the data.
Currently I have a system that shows all the steps throughout the quest, requirements, rewards, target monsters and instructions but I'm not totally happy with the formatting of the page.

The question is should i go ahead and put up what i have already or wait till it's all really nice and stuff?

I decided to bring the quests online as a beta version for you all to test and give feedback.

Well.. I was checking it out and it seems kind of off. The Hero quest is fine because it's a single quest. However, when you go to Job Quests you have to kind of search for the job you want. I think it would be more efficient to have a list of the quests available than when you click on the one you want it would open a quest guide formatted like the current ones. Just to make it a bit easier to navigate.

Actually I didn't have time on Friday to add the boxes that the items come from or the break lists to say what comes from each box or what you get if you disassemble one of these items. (Saturunes probably)
I only put up the actual equipable items

Over the weekend somebody asked my where the blood jellies were spawning for the Halloween quest.
When i checked my database it said "No active spawns" yet there they were near the entrance to the goblin cave.

After that i went and updated my spawns table. I just got done uploading it now. All the monster spawns are now current for rev 306

Now to finish up the missing items and stuff.

Just remade the quest interface so that job related quests will appear as quest chain titles until you click on one to get the entire quest.
I might change this again at some point to make the individual chains expandable / shrinkable but for now you are just getting titles with links in them.
I will see about improving this once I have the full list of quests decoded and uploaded.

It's a very slow process extracting all these darn quests and putting the data together in a usable database

Also changed the format so that you will see a list of quest names that will open up into more detail when you click the title.

I was a bit bored so I just ran around for a few hours getting a bunch more monster screen shots.

Uploaded about 40 more of them. Mostly around Anima lake, forest of wisdom and junon polis.

but the main idea is very good:)
