I can see how it would become annoying to wake up, only to find all your venders dead due to some random mushroom monster.

If they could make it so shops didn't disappear when you died, then I don't see this as being an issue.

Or a huge army of merchants vending holy waters and white pots in Nogg2.

I thought the shops reappear once the vendors are ressed and you walk offscreen and come back. Also, usually someone goes by to res everyone and the person/group polying would as well anyway

I like this thought trail, however I would say, rather than invincible, instead have an effect like gangster's paradise or (to a lesser extent) siren's call where the monster AI ignores you completely or prioritizes other players. That way people can't abuse this to tank mobs.

This thread in itself makes it pretty obvious.This community can't be trusted to have nice things like that summoning monsters in town. I think that's been pretty obvious.

There's a good reason it was disabled just like dead/bloody branches on event and turn in maps these days.

It's fun and you don't lose exp. I wish we could summon mushrooms in town and poly it up like the old days.
Absolutely no to this idea!! This would only cause harrassment issues of merchants and players who are afk at their guild spot, and a rival guild decides hey I don't like this guild and proceeds to polymorph stuff on said players. This is too abusable and would do more harm than help.

Don't look down on me and others that loved it.
You don't know the satisfaction of a screen full of dead merchants until you have been personally responsible for their demise.
But there's always tossing on the poly belt and valk mant in magma 2...

My guild always did that to me lol. I'd afk on the 99 agi sinx in full flee gear so it took forever.
how about allow poly in maps such as....woe entrance maps (not the castles themselves) or like that map north of payon, or other maps that are considered no exp loss then.
cause then people will poly to screw with people WoEing.
