I think my vani had ~12k hp at 99 so it may be on a lower or average side depending on where mine is.

The HP does look on the low side (Over 3k HP less HP than two of my vanis at 99), however this may not be significant, depending on which homunculus S you plan to turn it into.

A Homunculus S will hit 150 in most stats before it reaches level 150. At 97 your vani appears to have already reached 150 in INT, DEX, LUK and has ~129 STR, 136 AGI, 133 VIT.

thanks for your insight!, it really helps because I have no clue that it could be reaching 150 in stats ( their stats look so much lower than an actual player)


as long as they all reach their max potential stats by the time they hit the highest lvl, i am good.

It will likely have less HP than other vani based eiras as only dieter HP growth tends to reach the homunculus HP limit (32767).

Most of the difference in homunculus HP seems to be down to how much was gained when evolving it from small -> big with a stone of sage.

Some data from my 3 vanis:

Vani 1 (Potter) (13939 HP at 99) - Evolved at level 1: 80 -> 4744 = 4664 HP from evolution
Vani 2 (Jellyfish) (13595 HP at 99) - Evolved at level 1: 80 -> 4783 = 4703 HP from evolution
Vani 3 (Male) (10640 HP at 99) - Evolved at level 2: 142 -> 2362 = 2220 HP from evolution
Amistr 1 (Sheep) (14954 HP at 99) - Evolved at level 12: 1512 -> 4852 = 3340 HP from evolution

Vani 2 subsequently gained 1887 HP when changed into a Sera and now has 19184 HP at level 123.
Amistr 1 subsequently gained 1656 HP when changed into a Dieter and now has 31150 HP at level 135.

All my other homunculus are still 99 waiting for me to level the owner from 99 alchemist to genetic.

look look!! higher def, but stil no hope on HP. I wonder if it has to do with the names. I have a hamster called Poopieface Tomatonose, so i name my vani tomatonose , and you know hamster doesn't exactly have the best stamina

With how long it takes to get an homunculus to loyal twice it is difficult to recomend remaking it at this stage (Assuming that it is in the second form).

As you plan on turning it into an Eira I assume that you will be making some use of self destruction, which is based on max HP (Max HP * 2). If you regard the damage dealt by this skill as important, then you will need to be aware that your vani has lower HP than many others.

It looks like you vani gained 2 VIT and 1 AGI going 97-> 98.

- I had 14k HP as a 99 Vani. That's 2k more than yours, and 4k more than Beemaomao's. (Although that one is only lv97)
- I changed to an Eira at level 112. Yes, this gimped my SP Growth abit. (Maybe lost 200~?), but I think on average I was getting more HP as a vani then an Eira? If not, I still probably either hit even, or only lost a bit for waiting that long.

Just food for thought.

because your stats won't go up from evolving, eraser cutter doesn't help you level, and your aspd drops by like 10 when you evolve, there is literally no reason to evolve until 114 when your eira will get overed boost and have 189 aspd and an easy-to-loyal skill.

Unless a base Homunc gets better growth in HP/SP then the homunc S your turning into; it's better in the long run to transform it right away.
In the short run, leveling as Normal Homunc have more ASPD, so it can aid in getting their attacking skills faster. (Poison Mist/Lava Slide specifically)

The reason I leveled my vani so high? Two reasons;

1) I was still deciding on a homunc S to go. Eira was my favorite in looks, but I liked the skills of some of the others. However, it was a 2x event, and also the loyalty reset event.
So I wanted to still level it, even if I didn't change yet; and I needed to eventually turn it before the end of the week so I can get insta-loyal once it was Eira.

2) As I stated above, It was during the loyalty reset event. So I had a freshly loyal Homunc.
With the 911 Loyalty, that granted me at least 2 whole days of 100% afk. Of course, I actually was on during normal hours to feed it... I could AFK all night long during that 2x event.
I wanted to level as much as I could before I turned, and was brought back down to hate. (Which, the event would push back up to Loyal)

So yeah, it was all just circumstantial that I leveled too long as Vani.
Do I regret it? Not really. My HP seems to be one of the better values for an Eira. And my SP didn't take too much of a hit.
Would I suggest it to others? Not really. Why gimp your Homunc when you don't need to?

If it was a Dieter, I'm sure I would have missed some massive HP/SP. And I would have regretted it for sure.

honestly, eira vs dieter is much like a lif vs vani. i was hoping they would do something to bring back some balance. As in right now for afk purpose, dieter( who i see as another version of vani) is still the best. Not to mention they are taking silent breeze away from pvp

Int: 1.533 per level for 45 levels till maxed at lv144
Dex: already maxed at lv99
Luk: 2.379 per level for 29 levels till maxed at lv128

HP: 150.078 per level
SP: 49.902 per level

I guess that was a very bad advice, especially if your HP is low. You should turn it right now, because Homun S has much better HP growth!

Short Term:
Stay Normal-Homunc. This will allow you to keep a higher ASPD, thus leveling a bit faster. That way you can get real leveling skills (Poison Mist / Lava Slide) faster.
This will most likely, gimp your HP/SP compared to what it could be if you turn at 99.

Long Term:
Change to Homunc_S ASAP (Level 99). This will give you a higher HP/SP growth, allowing your final values at 150 to be at its maximum potential.
This will mean that your ASPD will be lower when your working on getting Poison Mist / Lava Slide,so your leveling will be a bit slower before you get those skills.

I don't think there's even a shortterm plan for Bayeri (Stahl Horn doesn't seem that much better then Caprice), Eleanor (Sonic Claw is gotten in just 1 level), or Eira (Eraser cutter is similar to Caprice. Xeno Slasher isn't the greatest afk skill either).

Of those 3, the only one which -could- be useful to push for is Overed Boost on Eira. But even then, all it does is speed up exp abit when completely afk. During normal AFKing you won't be able to upkeep hunger with Overed Boost 100% on.
So I wouldn't really wait for Overed Boost to change; I'd just change right away.

Again, to make it clear.
I'd only -consider- staying a Vani if I was going Sera/Dieter.
And even then, I probably would just change right away, because the long term is more important then the short term.
