lol. Me too from about that time, and I put it on once right after I made it, then took it off again and it's lived in my Kafra untouched since then. I think it maybe be covered in cobwebs.

"Once you go public, you are subject to public opinion..." criticism usually help... therefore once you public something here, like a image or video or quest or something among those lines... you are subject to general public... for good or bad...

Plus if you say someone do something for free or because he likes it, you are lying to yourself... No one does anything for free... everyone has something on mind when they do something... most people do it to get recognized or accepted or things among those lines...

In any case... kinda boring Maint... I was looking forward to see box things...

Ah it shouldn't bother you. If people are being honest at least, it's all feedback if you do go ahead with making your quests.

Which reminds me I should scribble some ideas for easter quest myself.

someone said something to the effect of the cake is gonna be nice for suras but really i dont want to put that on my head its a joke on suras im guessing because they get so much hate nerfing and such things. cakes have nothing to do with valentines day but if they have to give something to suras believe its gonna be ugly as hell

Item acquisition:

- Candy, Candy Cane, Well-baked Cookie are a cinch to get, thanks to the pumpkin witch hat and gozarian mask (S>each for 100M~). If you have them, anyway;

- Steel is a non-issue if you know a Genetic with Change Material who is not a greedy bastard (Tsurugi[1] = 38.7k from Armor Shop NPCs with 24% discount -> Change Material -> 10 Steel). That's less than 4k per steel before price gouging (Amatsu steel sellers, anyone?);

- Piece of Cake... is a little more intensive. I think the Moscovia Spotlight event was a good choice of location during this event (Baba-Yaga = 15% drop, not sure what the % mods will be for the Spotlight event), but there are only 60 on the map. 20 will take an average of 133 Baba-Yagas (15 items/100 monsters = 20 items/133.3333 monsters) before drop modifications from the Spotlight event. On a small map. Good luck not getting KSed.

- - Alternatively, there are 50 Myst Cases dropping Pieces of Cake (if you haven't done the Moscovia Dungeon entry quest) at an 8% rate. Average 250 Myst Cases for 20 Pieces of Cake (8 items/100 monsters = 20 items/250 monsters). On a huge map. /wrist Go do the Moscovia Dungeon entry quest. (It's a really nice quest anyway~)

tl/dr; 250 Myst Cases or 133 Baba-Yagas per Cake Hat.

Basically, we'll be working hard to get one of the quest items. But an item needed for a really good item should be hard work to get anyway. :3

However...

Upgrading without cash shop:

- +4 to +5 = 60% chance
- +5 to +6 = 40% chance
- +6 to +7 = 40% chance
- +7 to +8 = 20% chance
Chance to +8 a single Cake Hat from 0 to 4 = 0.6x0.4x0.4x0.2 = 1.92%

tl/dr; An average of about 52 hats are needed to make one +8 hat (without using the cash shop).
(Also, that equates to about 308-309 Elu per +8... Not an unobtainable quantity but...)

That said, an average of 13,000 Myst Cases or ~6,900 Baba-Yagas are needed per Costume Cake Hat without using enriched/HD elus. Even if the drop rates are doubled in Moscovia, that's still 6,500 Myst Cases or ~3,450 Baba-Yagas. How long is the event going to run for?

Upgrading with cash shop: Enriched Elu

tl/dr; An average of 10-11 (let's just say 10) hats are needed to make one +8 hat.
(Using only enriched going to +5 and up, that's an average of 27-28 Enriched elus, 6 boxes, or 6.3 USD per +8 hat. Not guaranteed, of course, just on average.)

This also equates to an average of 2,500 Myst Cases or 1,333 Baba-Yagas... Not terrible considering the event's going to last at least a week (doing both halves of a TI is already 800 monsters. Doubt toy factory will have increased spawn, though, and no idea whether Moscovia dungeon will get a boost, and small maps with lots of people and large maps with tiny spawn density both encourage massive KSing...).

Not going to take the time to analyze chances using HD. >.>

Basically, barring some pretty extremely lucky rolls of the RNG, you're going to have to pay a few bucks to get that costume hat unless the event lasts a good, long time.

... but, there you have it, numbers off which you can base whether you will or will not like this event, rather than plain old baseless irritating-to-sift-through QQing. Planning already to pick up some enriched Elu to get my costume. >.<

Additionally If you recently completed a turn in but are still within the 24 hour cool down on that turnin you can return to the map to finish helping your group.

Being a veteran obsessed with cake and cookies and candy (and elu) and I tried my luck with making my cake hat.

Made a total of 10 (ran out of cookies). The third one went +7 with regular Elu and with a random Enriched Elu I had laying around I +8 it. Out of all the rest, only one went +6 (the second one), only one went +5 (the first one) and the rest broke after +4 XD I used up all my luck in one blow.

A tiiiiiiiiny bit of luck in a sea of misfortune.

I would have used my safe to 7 certs, but I figured with how easy the hat is to make, I wouldn't waste certs or Kafra Shop stuff.

fiu, I like this lunar extend, i get disconnected when i redeem the exp with my crusader and linker(after killing the blue dragon), I despaired but now i'm calm now...

PD: Double exp would be nice
