Nobody cares or want to bother with Sakray except the few people who already tested.
This was supposed to be implemented at the beginning of the month, still nothing, just add it already to the main server and then you'll get the feedback you want.


That is not necessarily true because a broken system implemented into the game can cause unfair advantages that will provide little to no feedback or glitches within the game that could cause problems for players in their everyday RO life. For now just test it out on Sakray & if there is a problem with the Summoner report feedback ^^.

I tested the summoner on Sakray around 30 times or so(I'll become as Miku/Calcium in the Bacterial Contamination video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tHpLZTAY-s&feature=related, if I continue to kill bugs...), anyway except to say that the part with the monsters spawned is a bit boring and useless (it seems a cheap version of Endless Tower), I haven't many other complain to do.

In my opinion to understand well the difficult of the summoner we need of more MVPs (I know that everyone here is thinking..."Do you want Kiel", yeah I want him!, but also the other MVPs, in particular I would like to test Vesper, Evil Snake Lord and Gloomy(if will be implemented also an easy way to have characters that aren't Genetics or Mechanics, of course) and other MVPs.

Every MVPs has a different difficulty, with mob and monsters from his map different from the others, so I can't give my global opinion killing an easy GTB. I would like to see the summoner on main server, but I agree also on the fact that test it on Sakray would be a good thing.

Anyway talking with ppl around, seems that many persons don't know where download or how to install Sakray and other are lazy or tired to make that. If a person plays always a Sura, Ranger or RK, and on Sakray you give only the possibility to create in quick way Genetics and Mechanics, these persons never will test something there, cos the quest to become Monk, RK and Ranger are a pain in ass.

So if the prob is few testing: give to us it on the main server, of implement quick lvling for all classes on Sakray and put more MVPs in the list.

Those lunatics running around in town. Each one gives 1m exp. Beat 50 of them and instantly 99. Repeat for trans, then repeat for third class until 150. The problem is just doing the job changes. Sura would be a breeze because you could just use a genetic alt to make the desert wolf killcounts.

Won't take one hour of "grinding" to be 150. Would be just slowed down because of the quests. Then this is variable and depends of the laziness level of people.

And the ones with characters made during the balance patch can reuse them.

It has already been tested and they got feedback.

- Filler monster is useless doesn't add challenge or makes people want to party (The goal of the update?)
- People don't want to party in the Summoner (They didn't listen when they wanted ideas to improve it, but ended up not making it any more challenging anyways)
- Some MVP's barely drop any gear or at ridiculous low % (Dracula for example)

So in the end, they will have removed it for 2+ months just to add another cataclysm.
1 month later, nothing. The issue isn't the lack of feedback, there is simply nothing else to say about it.

I will give you feedback, the current summoner is boring and won't encourgage any parties, it will just slightly increase the time to farm it.

If you really want to add some challenge to it make it so you can't summon mvps that are too easy to kill at your current level, mvps like GTB, Eddga, Moonie, Phreeoni, etc, etc are retarded easy to solo on most 3rd classes, so you should make them only summonable by 2nd classes of around those levels to make it challenging.

For example GTB/Eddga being lv65, could be summonable only by levels 60~80 and so on, otherwise it becomes a farming fest for 150s



I strongly disagree with this. So someone with high levelled chars should loose the right to summon low levelled - but worthy - MVPs in the hope of getting its very precious card (like GTB)?

You might as well ask for forbidding certain equips during fighting "easy" MVPs, just to make things "harder" or more "interesting"..

In my opinion it would be a great mistake even to consider this suggestion (eventhough everyone has the right to have one), cause it would not make the game more "challenging" it just add frustration for lots of people. I used the summoner to have the slim chance to get a desired card/or item from an MVP. Restricting certain MVPs availability would questioned the meaning of the whole thing for me!

(By the way, have you tried to hunt for a GTB in its Culvert map? Almost impossible to kill one because of the hard competition. With your suggestion many players would not be able to summon it either - so for lots of people would have literally zero chance even hoping for a card from it.)

it supose to be a test server, i dont wanna spend 2 hours doing quest and kill lunatics ready just to test some stuff, if they add the npc(like before) everyone can start testing in 15 minutes i cant really understand why do they removed the npc

You do not do a job quest to change jobs. There is an NPC in Prontera that will change you're job.

No, just have the level lmitation and you should be able to equip whatever thing you are allowed at those levels (lv60~80 range means no god items) because you are going to need it for sure, those mvps were modified by renewal to have a difficulty level according to it's intended base level, in this case 2nd classes. You could even have the option to choose a noexp map so you wouldn't level up after doing it multiple times and keep that char always in the level range. Higher levels (150s) can go to his natural spawn and just compete for it or kill it in weekly ET too.

Challenge =/= Farming

If you've been on Sakray recently there is no Job change npc in Pront. You have to do the QUEST to change job which takes a while...

You could even have the option to choose a noexp map so you wouldn't level up after doing it multiple times and keep that char always in the level range. I think it's a bit late to add level restriction to the summoner. If they added more character slot then it may work. On another note, do people even go do the orc dungeon instance anymore?

Challenge=/=Discrimination

That would be the end of this game (or at least its summoner - aspect), if longtime players were forced to abandon their characters, and make low levelled ones just to have the chance to NOT TO COMPETE for an MVP kill.

As I tried to point out natural spawn not always a way to go, and sometimes (becuse of playing habits/time zone differences which blocks guilding or partying/player habits etc. etc.) neither the weekly ETs
.
Think - is it OK that those who had the luck to achieve their goals can enjoy themselves; and those ones who just try theirs day by day, year by year - well, they suc_s from now on?
Take away the freedom of playing/choices, and see what will happens!

In the next 3 months we plan on having at least 2-3 major developed content updates (not iRO created stuff), so this is the start of our busy season.

The summoner seems still bugged, I tried with a VIP account and also with a non-Vip Account, and the result is always the same.

Before the Summoner creates a Instance and says to you to talk again with him. When you talk with him, he ask to you the same previous message, asking about the boss to summon, in the first screenshot I tried to summon the GTB and I had that message(and this is a Vip Account). Anyway I had also the reset stone in my inventory to be sure.

While here I'm trying to summon Kiehl(sorry I use quest name version). When I asked to summon him the first time Bentam(name of the summoner), didn't ask for items or Eden Merit Badge(even if I would be happy of this no required items on main sever, Sakray is there to test also the cost of summoner, so would be nice know what is the price for a date with my MVP^^;;; ), but he created the instance as for the GTB.

I talked again with him as required and I had the message that you see in the second screenshot. Also here I tried with a VIP Account and with a Non-Vip.
So I assume that the summoner is still bugged.

So since the server will be shut down for fix this I write here also another request.
Please could you implement an NPC with Headgeasr and another that sell Carga Mace, Diabolus Ring and Nidhoggur's Shadow Garb [1] and other usefull equipment that there isn't in the current NPCs?

I know that this is a big request, but have the same equipment that you have on main server could make easier the testing.

As last thing, thanks a lot to have implemented the other Classes.^___^

Checked with one of my characters as well and it's not working, same as the post above.
The first time I talked I got the message that I was not VIP, even if I had the reset stone.
The second time it created the instance, but this couldn't be entered.

Can't summon GTB as the summoner NPC claims I am not VIP. When trying to summon Kiel instead it reserves the instance. However, when the instance is ready the dialogue loops back to choosing which MvP to summon as described in Allysia's post and states the "memorial dungeons, 'Summoning Room' is already in progress". Nothing happens afterwards other than the instance getting destroyed.

Ok, I made some other test, and I can say that if you made a new character"NOW" and you create an instance with it, talking with Bentam, you will be warped in a new room. This work only with the GTB, with Kiehl continue to give the same error that I had already reported. Anyway if you create an instance with Kiehl, and it don't work, you can talk again with Bentam asking for the GTB and he will warp you in the room. I couldn't kill all bugs, since I didn't have chars good for MVPs (those goods had still the instance stuck) and now I have few time to play cause work, so I can't make a new one. Anyway when I'll have a moment free I'll make other tests.

@Rafa07, I can understand your concern, and was for this that I was a bit upset when the summoner has been removed, cos I knew that the new implementation would have taken several days...maybe months^^;;; Anyway now the instance is there, it needs only to be fixed. I'm not expecting that it will be fixed in a really short time(there are many things before of it, and one of this is the Anniversary), anyway I hope that before the end of summer will have again Bentam between us.^___^

@Heimdallr, I'm not sure if we could continue to write here the summoner feedbacks, or if we had to open a ticket, anyway I preferred post here this, so also other players can test this new room.

Summoned GTB 3 days ago and successfully finished the instance. I noticed they used an old usrc map which at least is better than the previous one in terms of ease of movement. Today I tried to summon again but it kept giving me the following msg:
I don't know what to do with you, try waiting 3 hours

Supposedly the cooldown is 3 hours then it should have been off by now for my char. I also noticed something odd about the summoner quest entries in the quest log. Seems like the NPC is not sending/updating variables correctly to the quest log or some of that sort.

Has anyone else ran into such problem?

Adding on that, Kiel can't be summoned still.

Summoner works, but due to the quest timer problem we can't properly put it in yet.

WHERE THE NEW WORLD MEETS THE OLD. The summoner being brought back with old and new mvp would definitely be a surprise. It is June two months from the deadline set.
