what i would like to see:
1. Maybe change the map a bit cause the vines are really annoying to have to navigate to find monsters.
2. Maybe make it something more of a challenge in that each phase has a limited amount of time till the next is released. Basicially if you don't kill fast enough you get swamped with monsters. Or something else that would be interesting to me if possible, have 3 monsters (related to the mvp) spawn into the room. 2 of the 3 monsters spawn mobs similar to what you are doing now, the 3rd monsters spawns the actual mvp. Basically its has an element of suprise, or a player can simple kill all 3 at once and spawn all the monsters including the MVP. Just an idea something a little different then what we have going right now.

Lady Thief Bug and Laddy Thief Bug ?
Is this just a typo on Sakray or are they different monsters from the regular ones?

After the 3h cooldown I spoke with the summoner NPC, it takes the reset stone for the temporary access then, when talking again, asks to select the MVP and says:
Summonning MVP Monsters can only be done by those who have the VIP status.
Fell free to assist your friends after they have been summonned though.
Character: Ouroboros 150/50 Genetic Non VIP
Same happens on two characters from my wife's accounts (2 separate accounts):
Tramadoll 150/50 Genetic Non VIP
Allysia 130/50 Mechanic Non VIP
Other characters on the same accounts that never used the summoner can enter.

Regarding the GTB, is it intended that the monsters on the map are named:
Lady Thief Bug and Laddy Thief Bug ?
i was wondering that myself as well..
I like how the new summoner is.
To be honest I havent really noticed how many EMB it asked for, if it is still two i would think its a bit much for summoning since its a VIP "add-on". In regards to the item requirements. Is it possible to ask for either X amount of EMB or X amount of previous MVP-loot. Asking for both, could give the feeling of it not 'really' being a vip-extra-kinda-thing (imho, that is).
I can see where the person earlier in the thread comes from with that the map the summoning takes place is a bit annoying with all the 'branches' lying about through out the map. I can understand however that it could be helpful with different MVPs and would love to test out other MVPs on sakray besides the GTB on that map. Only then i could really say if the map needs to go away or not.
The waves of monsters seemed reasonable for GTB. again, I would love to see what the other MVPs will bring with the two waves.

We found on a character that a workaround for this problem is entering once in the summoner room as a guest of someone else doing the summoning.Tested again with the same character non vip.

After the cooldown the summoner npc works again with the reset stone for non VIPs.

The GTB isn't really good to test the difficulty since the MVP and its mob are very easy.
It would also help the testing to have the NPC job change for the other classes and non only for mechanics and genetics.

There needs to be more player feedback for the Summoner changes to be finalized and implemented on the main servers. Comments are fine, but the GMs are looking for feedback on the costs, impression of the system, difficulty of the new summoner, suggestions for improvements, bug reporting etc. So far there's only couple people that had taken their time to test out the changes and provide feedback. There needs to be more of this.
If they really need more feedbacks implement it on main servers for a week, get feedbacks, adjust based on feedbacks.

I will give you feedback, the current summoner is boring and won't encourgage any parties, it will just slightly increase the time to farm it.
If you really want to add some challenge to it make it so you can't summon mvps that are too easy to kill at your current level, mvps like GTB, Eddga, Moonie, Phreeoni, etc, etc are retarded easy to solo on most 3rd classes, so you should make them only summonable by 2nd classes of around those levels to make it challenging.
For example GTB/Eddga being lv65, could be summonable only by levels 60~80 and so on, otherwise it becomes a farming fest for 150s

i was enthusiastic to check the new and improved mvp summoner, after almost 2 months, after all the description that are going to make it to incentivate more partys, waves of monsters to kill before the real mvp and when i tested it i got really disapointed i was expenting some kind of maze with stuff to do, not only to use cc on some thief bugs before be able to kill gtb form a more expensive summoner that doesnt add anything else diferent from the old one, only that takes you more emb to summon it and just a bad decision with all iRO economy problem right nowI will give you feedback, the current summoner is boring and won't encourgage any parties, it will just slightly increase the time to farm it.

tl;dr: Increase emb requirement, and if you want to cater to the VIPs, remove the actual MVP item (for them specifically to enter the instance) so they can vend them for zeny to non-VIPs (logic bomb: they can then use the zeny to buy more emb items to continue summoning; WTF???).
This is the best option, anyone that argues with me is doing so because they're clueless. Only posting because -someone- in higher power asked me to post my opinion as they felt I would bring the logical point across regarding requirements for summoning.
tl;dr 2.0: Increase emb requirement and if you want to cater to the VIPs, remove the actual MVP item for entering so they can vend them for zeny to non-VIPs upon dropping from the MVPs themselves.

One thing that might help in testing on Sakray is to re-implement the job change NPC. I am not sure if the NPC is hidden but I rather not do the whole job change progression just to get to the class I play on the main server. Simpler option would be to implement it on the main server like Carp mention.

Nobody cares or want to bother with Sakray except the few people who already tested.
This was supposed to be implemented at the beginning of the month, still nothing, just add it already to the main server and then you'll get the feedback you want.
