If you're not a competitive player, why are you commenting about skills?I play a mage on pegasus, no i never boostered, i'm not an hater.
What you fail to understand is that i'm not a competitive player, and you will never understand either.
Since you are bashing on me out of assumptions, calling me a hater, you are acting pretty childish.
I haven't insulted you in any way, and yet you call me a hater.
And yes, knight may have ultimate defense, but they have no damage output to equal that. I've been playing knight for nine months, and i can say they are a class that don't need much change.
I would play a mage, but they are at the moment too underpowered to do any good.
Also, i never mentioned anything about a mage, why would i be hating on mages?

I play to play this game, i don't play to win here.
And i just want a good game, there is no reason to be competitive against eachother, usually only causes trouble.

Exactly why you have no clue about what skills are essential for each jobs.

I don't play because i want to win, or because i want to beat others that i hate (rivalry), but i do play the same game as you, and i do pvp and join uw's on a daily basis.

You may want to look up the meaning of the word competitive, it's a form of rivalry especially in games and sports.
I don't play because i want to win, or because i want to beat others that i hate (rivalry), but i do play the same game as you, and i do pvp and join uw's on a daily basis.
That's competition, not competitive.
Competitive is PvP.

I'm not lecturing, i defend myself since the lecture i am given is a bit off.You really going to start lecturing here?
I have no idea why you want a leather glove smack fight, and i really don't want to know either.1v1 leather glove smack fight rite now jeremy holla at ya boy 187 piru set... preeeeeeeeeeeeeee preeeeeeeeeeeee
That would indeed be weird since one is an adjective and the other a noun. You can't use competitive as a replacement for competition.

all jobs got different advantages and disadvantages
raider = cloack = undying w/booster =need to be nerf (alittle)
scout= range = runner =need to be boost
knight = defense = boring (knight is fine)
champ = ALL including mute, passives, decloack, complete package =need to be nerf (1st to be fix)
borg = farming ? artisan got better asp than borg =need to be boost
artisan =crafting/sleep =nades is dead (little boost)
mages = weak, 4-5 hits dead , debuf? nah ders no debuf= just remove this job
cleric = buffing/healing/sexiest LOL (cleric is fine)
so be realistic and better to study 2nd job 1st ,b4 implementing changes, and rank what job needs to be fix
what is the purpose of senators?if dev team r not listening to them

The fact of the matter is Jerremy know's how to use proper grammatical statements, the other does not. Allow me to explain his side.I'm not lecturing, i defend myself since the lecture i am given is a bit off.
I have no idea why you want a leather glove smack fight, and i really don't want to know either.
That would indeed be weird since one is an adjective and the other a noun.
Jerremy plays ROSE to enjoy the games features and mechanics.
Jerremy plays in competition against other players while maintaining a humble attitude instead of being competitive.
Competitive is the adjective used to describe a person who plays in competition against other players.
Competition is the activity in which player play competitively against one another. Synonyms for this would be tournaments, battles, arenas, contention, engagements etc.
He is supplying the feedback thread with his personal opinions on game play from an un-biased perspective. Un-biased meaning he has no personal attachment to the criteria in question. Thus making for the best type of feed back.
Biased suggestions should not be considered for proposal and implementation due to the fact the person in question is only posting ways to better their play style thus in turn making their character better than any others. This leads to instability and classes being unbalanced.
I value Jerremy's type of feed back more then most other players and so does the staff being of it's rational nature and un-biased approach.
Hopefully this clears his post's up a bit.

For class balancing, the debuff of mage should get removed completely, it's a special feature but for a buff dependant game it just doesn't cut it.
I have told before to change fierce cudgeling to a skill that freezes enemies to the ground (since it is a part of the ice and shock skill tree) for several seconds. The victim can still attack enemies within range and is allowed to use food, therefore a mage can escape rough situations (to make up for the low defence they have). Maybe change it so enemies can't even attack, but can still use food. Like this they are not dead for sure, and the mage still has a very useful skill (keep percentage of succes low just as with debuff, or this would be easily used for annoying people as well).
Would carry on, but it would get too long of a post and this isn't the appropriate topic for it.

Re-read my post before you start another useless trolling war. I said jerremy's TYPE of input, not his personal request. I described his type of input earlier in the post, had you read the whole post you would of picked up on that. That's the problem right there.

@Jeremy: You just assume everyone's against Mage's debuff skill? I'm impressed, your suggestion could really work.

There's people that play to show that they're the best, and then there's people that know how to play the game (just like them) but they play to have fun.
They don't find it necessary to show that they're the best, being competitive, and probably just PvP and such for their own sake.
It doesn't mean you can't have fun being competitive (looks like that since I didn't find a way to word it better) however, people play for diffrent reason, Jeremy not being competitive, doesn't say that he can't know how to balance a character good.
Instead of bashing of why he plays and how he plays and why that would matter in balancing, compare the changes he wants to what you want to get changed in game.
For example:
Person one: I hate anti magic shell makes me die because of... [reason]
Person two: I think anti magic shell is useful cause mages ... [reason]
That's much better since it doesn't prove anything about how much knowledge a person got about a certain class.
