Hey, i've had that exact same error, we have it on our pc, and both laptops.
the error "could not laod nospam.dll" is only showing on our acer aspire laptop, but it crashes as soon as my bf logs in.
the other one and my pc crash regulary, or just freeze, sometimes to the point that we have to reboot.
i tried copy pasting the nospam.dll, but that doesn't work either.
it hapens, when i either use my numpad, or just talk too fast, or whenever i talk out of the blue.
it also happenes when i'm on my priest, heal bombing and buffing, with dissapointing endings.

when my boyfriend goes on our acer laptop, it lets him log in, but as soon as his screen loads, it crashes, so no trigger there. (other than loading ro)

our laptops have both been formatted and re-installed, with win xp, my pc hasn't been formatted. so it's not because of viruses.
anti-virus shouldn't cause it either, because we have different ones on laptop and pcs (not multiples on one)

i don't get it when i'm talking in a mass place, or spambots talking, but it's annoying, and to me, it's happened about 15-20 times a day, with 5 instances that i had to reboot my pc.

now, since today, i try patching ro, and it gives me this error message [Failed to write file.] (PatchClient\Thumbs.db)
and then the patching screen says "Failed to unpack 2012-8-16data_gm_r.rgz file"

My boyfriend can patch it normally, on our ibm thinkpad
a friend of us has an issue, that makes the setup screen restart, over and over again.
he has a toshiba laptop, with windows 7.

so three different operation systems, different brands of pcs, different antivirus, and EVEN different errors.

i hope my info will help to fix this, because we want ro back the way it was.

(classic patch works fine though)
just won't let me play, character size error.

My computer is an HP Pavilion dv6, with an Intel iCore i3 Processor, 8GB RAM, and an Nvidia Video card, I have the same problem as the Toshiba guy, my RO client opens normally, but when i click on Start, it closes and gives me the setup screen and when I close it, it just keeps opening over and over again.

i'd hope so... most people can play, for some works patch as admin just fine, but for others like me, it doesn't.

It was until they decided to not use a fix I created to disable it out of 3 or 4 hours of time and my colleague as well because the next day they released the security updated RO client rendering that useless but more importantly a complete waste of time from the previous day after asking us specifically for it as a temp solution until kRO could fix it, I'm still pissed at this because it makes no sense. We all know who to thank for that. Thanks for a solution looking for a problem that targeted about 1% of the population and crippling about 50% of it.

If you are still getting this issue please post back, i might have solution to fix the problem temp until kRO can fix it, the last solution was not put in due to the next day a new exe was released with that stupid anti-cheat engine and I was not told about it ~_~

think lot of people experiencing this problem including me and yet still cant find no help to anyone, so we just stop playing for weeks and hopefully RO release a new patch to solve it. Yes i did everything, i sent tickets lots of time but all of the solutions they want me to do are not working, so if u really have a temporary solution on this issue pls help and we appreciate it..

One of the issues has been that we have been testing on various XP computers here at the office and are not able to replicate the issue. We're investigating the tickets we have received, but kRO wants a duplicatable issue before they will do a fix.

well, i'll send you a pm, but...
yet ANOTHER friend of mine, can't start up RO altogether..
the program starts, but won't open.
he tried reformatting, reinstalling, sent a ticket to the GM, but they said to download ro from win explorer 6 or higher.
he has literally tried everything we made him do. and yet. the process still shuts itself down.

oh by the way... to avoid nospam.dll to make your RO crash and give the error message... talk in party chat or guild chat only. not public.

Thats how I feel with the mouse wheel issue Iam having since I uninstalled 13.2 and re installed 14.whatever this is.
