I think it has a chance of having the rideword-like effect, or the opposite where it takes away so much of your hp/sp. Unless of course I'm reading that wrong, which I might be since it's worded kinda funny.

Its tricky, but basically you will either lose HP/SP or gain HP/SP when dealing or receiving physical damage so the headgear in itself can be a savior or a risk factor when it comes to equipping it. It definitely does remind me of Halloween as it has a Trick or a Treat type of effect.

I believe it means if the hat is upgraded to +7 the amount of HP/SP it heals will be increased by 20% and the amount of HP/SP it drains will be decreased by 20% otherwise the Chance to actually proc the effect would have to be something ridiculous i.e. 50% Chance.

Since this year's Halloween quest reward is the Shadowmancer Helm, how will we obtain the Witch's Pumpkin Hat and Gozarian Mask? Will it be in the Kafra Shop or something?

I don't believe the HP/SP Recovered or Drained is based off player damage, but maybe it is based off a certain % of the user's HP/SP or a set number. I don't believe Arrow Storm would kill you while wearing the Shadowmancer's Helm.

mmhmm. thanks for trying to explain kasshin. i obviously read the hats effects before posting (if not how would i even know about the hat) so you posting the effects again didnt help me at all lol. haha. ill just get it and test it out. but based on whatever you guys are saying now, i more or less get what it does i guess. thanks again.

BRING BACK THE CLAW MACHINE!!! or whatever you call that machine that upgrades the cracked buckler.

Also, bring back the NPC that lets you card "The Sign" accessory.

It does not increase atk or matk on the first set I purchased that has vit+3, matk+3% and matk+3%, and vit+3, atk+3% and atk+2%, but it did increased the 3 vits. So I bought a second set, which by the way works... Just so you know, we spent over $20 bucks to reset stats and it doesn't work. I put in 2 tickets. First ticket Ian, said please provide date and time.. lol.. when the date and time is stamped on the images I sent. Anyway so I sent a new ticket with more images and provide them with the time and date. I would appreciate this be corrected b4 this event over with. Thanks!

the helm will kill us instantly, max hp we can get is 100% not 10000%, think about it oda -.- making it keep decrease to 1%. It's same like not wearing any helm..

Some atk/matk % bonuses don't show on the status screen but they do work. You can easily test this if you have a smith or a warlock character (maximize power/recognized spell).

Atk +% and Matk +% will never show up inside your status window. So looking at your status window for a change in either Atk or Matk is not the proper way to confirm if these bonuses are being applied properly.
