obviously if there are people doing this then there is a way to get it done regardless of class or "usefulness". If you just ask people that are going on the quest they likely will let you tag along atleast from my experiences thats how it works. So yea stop QQing lol

Hey, I guess having NOGG for the 4th week in a row is ok in your mind... Have you gotten so lazy that a week of work results only in change of monsters and quest that is most likely bugged again (quest took longer of course) . Change the damn map already.

Only you are complaining about the nogg map, seriously. I'm sure most people is enjoying it, not ridiculous maps like Bifrost or Splendide fields.

Can anyone tell me the secret to starting up RO now after this maintenance was done? All I get when I try to start it is the message saying "Ragexe.exe has encountered a problem & needs to close." Send Error Report or Don't Send. I've updated both patches, rebooted & even tried to run startup. No joy. But very unhappy

I copied everything originally directly under the C: drive. So I have deleted everything & copied the original install back again but it didn't help any. This was after downloading both sets of patches again.

Also if I try to start the Classic Client I just get a Gravity Error every time.

Hmm, so the old Halloween headgears are in the Kafra Shop. 500 KP seems a tad bit pricy for each, imo. Oh well. At least new players now have the chance to get them. I'm just glad I got mine from the event last year.

Makes me wish I remembered this game earlier cause I like collecting the hats.... However, my kafra shop wouldn't let me buy the drooping doll even though I have more than 500kp. Smaybe the world is telling me not to waste my moneys. /hmm

I just tried uninstalling & deleting everything, rebooting & installing again. Still the same thing. I wish someone would fix whatever was done during maintenance so I can get back on again. This really sux.

Is the RO folder Properties set to "Read-Only"?

What AV? Have you tried to Disable your AV and run the program again?

Yes I'm Admin

I'm running Win XP. It doesn't give you a choice of how to install it. The program is set to run Compatible to Win 95 as I've been told by tech support previously.

Yes the RO folder is set to Read Only, same as it's always been.

Nothing changed on my computer from the time I went to sleep last night till the time I got up this morning other then maintenance.

What are you talking about AV? Disabling what AV? I don't use sounds. Without video it would be hard to see anything

I am running NVIDIA GeForce GTX465 1GB if that's what you want to know.

Problem is:
1. looking at the same map all the time is not fun
2. It's a circle WITH a lame appendix which gets filled up and you have to go down there once in a while, and then go back and lose time or encounter a party. Plus those bridges are hard to cross, as it's only 1 cell most of the time

Oda it's been quite a few hours & believe it or not nothing has changed. Probably because no one has done anything have they?

It's really nice to go to bed connected before maintenance & overnight have nothing change on my computer while I'm asleep yet for some reason I can't get on now, after maintenance.

Goes in next week, I got it to Cam a little late so it wasn't finished in time to go in yesterday.

First NPC will be in the Geffen Inn when it's ready.

Also, it's part of an Arc Quest so make sure you've finished the Nifflheim one.

Bring along some level 100+ friends! It wouldn't be much fun if we only opened the quest to people around that high level. It's designed to have parties go in together to defeat the monsters.

Yeah.. how bout if someone is FA.. he/she cant do it alone.. beside when i ask someone to invite me for the party they keep ignore me...

We are going to have the quest spawn a dark illusion instead if the number of people in the instance is small and/or low leveled

nid quest is still broken. i've sent several tickets the past 2-3 weeks. i've gotten responses, but no answer of whether something is actually being done. paying customer here. shouldn't take 2-3 weeks for something so simple to happen, or at the very least an answer to when something that was once working perfectly would be fixed.

Yes, of course I'm running one, Norton Internet Security, but I already tried disabling everything & there wasn't a change either way.

To oda : this is the first time i've ever done a halloween quest..and personally, i had fun..made some new frnds..dark lord was unacceptable..so, thanks for replacing it with dark illusion..

To Razzez..try disabling antivirus/firewall., or Try adding ro to list of exceptions in antivirus and firewall..
