NEW IDEAS
Honey, I'm HOME!! <<< This is a HUGE one
Spoiler
Player owned housing! Simplified so it'll be taken seriously.
What is it? It's you're own home, house, hearth, cribb, or shanty!
Ok more seriously, Here's how I see this working. A player upon a certain level, get's to have the option to buy their own home.
*Home's will have different appearences and internal sizes.
*Based on the money spent on your home, different features will be available to you.
*Home's size and type will be determined by the money spent on the home, suggested prices below
- Shack: 1m Zuly. "It could be used for secret Spy meetings!"
- Cottage: 10m Zuly. "A bit nicer then a shack, bit still small"
- House: 50m zuly. "Hey, not too shabby!"
- Victorian: 100m zuly. "Wow, this place is awesome!"
- Manor: 300m zuly. "Whoa, you could fit a turak in this place!"
- Mansion: 500m zuly. "Bigger then the mannor, and nicer too!"
- Castle: 800m zuly. "This place is fit for a ruler of Kingdoms!!"
Features of the home!
- Small shelf [1m zuly] +4 slots of home storage space
- Fire Place [5m zuly] increased HP and MP regeneration while resting at home.[requires cottage+]
- Furnishings [20m zuly] A place for you to sit that isn't the floor
- Chest [100m zuly] +16 slot storage for your home [requires house+]
- Harvesting Basket [5mil zuly] access to lv 1-50 foods and drinks
- Trunk [200m zuly] +30 slot storage for your home [requires Mannor+]
- Pantry [20m zuly] access to lv 50-100 foods and drinks. an assortment of return scrolls. [requires Cottage+]
- work station [50m zuly] access to repair equipment [requires house+]
- alchemy lab [150m zuly] access to lv 1-100 potions [old ones that were removed from arumic seller in junon] [requires victorian+]
- book shelfs [40m zuly] access to junon + luna scrolls, dance scrolls [requires house+]
- forge [300m zuly] access to refining gear, repairs and lv 1-100 armors [heavy] [requires mansion+]
- tailoring table [150m] access to identifying items, and lv 1-100 armors [light] [requires mansion+]
- Smithing Table [300m zuly] access to all weapons lv 1-100 sold in npc's] [requires mansion+]
- butler [250m zuly] access to lv 100-175 foods and drinks, junon, luna, eldeon scrolls, and a good conversation [requires castle]
- storage celler [500m zuly] +50 house storage space [requires castle]
- battle master [500m zuly] access to a dualing arena where you and your friends can duke it out! [requires castle]
How does the housing work though?
Easy, Once you meet level requirement to purchase a home, you would do a quest from Historian Jones, who also happens to be Junon's real estate agent.
Jones would ask you to complete a series of tasks that earns you the deed to the house, so long as you can afford Junon's hefty property tax.
Once you complete the quest, you gain a skill "Hearth and Home". This sets up a model house [like opening a vend] that teleports you to your house, and allows other to kindly knock on the door [request entrance] This way, you can invite others to hang out in your home, hold clan meetings, set up private vends that only people you trust to enter you home have access to, or to just get away from the ROSE world for a bit!
Skills?
Sure, once someone has entered your home, you may instruct them to
sit [target: Ally Action:sit Success: 80% Cooldown 30sec]
leave [target: Ally Action: Teleport to Save Town or outside house model Success: 100%] << good if your friends are afk in your house or someone is getting out of line
There you have it, I'll obviously update this one a bit more, there so much that could be done.

Pet user interface controlls! This would give a certain class skills that would issue commands to a permanent [HP doesn't time out, but can still be killed] pet! The idea is that as you level, you have the option to spend skill points into skill that your pet can learn. Poisonous Bites, Slashes, Body Slams for stuns, & more. You could also have skills that cause your pet to cast an aoe or aoe heal from their location, not yours!
I think this adds a whole new level of depth, and opens up room for plenty of customization with all the different pet options. Beasts, Hawks, Sword, Elementals, Gargoyles, Chickens, Jelly Beans, Mini Mammoths, Mammoths, Bebegs, Warbiz, the list goes on for as long as there is a monster that hasn't been listen.

Get a job you lazy level capper! >>UPDATED FOR MAXIMUM YUSH<<
Spoiler
No really, there should be jobs! Smithing! Alchemy! Enchanting! Something! Ever wanted a shield, with the look of a Silver Heart shield? I think an Enchanter could imbue a silver heart shield with the stats of a aurum shield with prficient skill. Or did you ever want a potion that healed over a loooong amount of time slowly? What about.. dare I say, Refining your own damned gear because your a bamf smith?!?! I do. I'd looove to be able to have a job, that let's me refine my own gear, where ever I want, and the more awesome of a smith I am, the more % success rate I'll have to refine it! Ionno. But
----Loads of mats in game don't get used for squat.
-Metals could be made for tempering/refining weapons, or repairing weapons in the battle field!
-Plant Materials could be made into potions on the fly, so you don't need to restock on pots in the middle of ruins...
-Chemicals and artifcat type mats could be used for adding buffs to people, [like +dex, +int, etc] or altering an items appearance? or even making fuel for PAT.
-Other random materials could be made into other useful things -i keep a bronze key in my storage for the fateful day they can be used for something-
All in all, I've said enough on this idea that is, MOVING ON
UPDATED POTION HERE!
Enchanting, How about that, sounds cool to me. But what if your enchanted added a VISIBLE effect. Fire adds flames, Poison adds oozing green liquid, Ice adds snow flakes, Electricity adds sparks, Holy adds sparkles, Wind adds hazey clouds. This could be even more so indpeth!
Hebarn enchantments, Fire and black smoke!
Arua Enchants, Blue + white clouds,
Eldeon enchants, falling leaves!,
Junon enchants, Pulsing orbs,
Luna Enchants Snow fales and pulses,
Karkia enchants, purple + black haze,
Skaaj Enchants, floating hearts!,
Orlo Enchants, mini sand sorm clouds!.
Armor enchanted as a set could gain a small arua around the lower portion of the character, like a rotating symbol, or smoke or other effects.

Randomly placed in more isolated parts of the worlds of ROSE could be 'trigger zones'. That once entered begins a dialog to accept a quest. Or spawns a monster when entered with a special drop or bonus to exp, maybe even a temp exp bonus for 20 mins!
How about those secret places, like the portals in Goblin Caves. Or the Stair wells in Sikuku Prison. I feel there should be more in the Forgotten Temple of Luna. These places should trigger a solo instance. Teleports you to a room with a set time to complete an objective, like killing a solitary boss, or breaking down barriers to get to a loot chest. Something fun and spontaneous Maybe if you enter the zone with a group, it can teleport your whole group to the zone, with increased challenge and increased rewards!

Original portion of the post
Instances / Dungeons
Spoiler
Instance brackets.
There should be 2 instances / dungeons available at all times for a player to have access to. There's plenty of content to support this! When I imagine ROSE online dungeons, the first dungeon I imagined was Goblin Caves. It was such an awesome idea to me. Getting into a group of 4 or 5 people, and powering through hordes of goblins, and championing the Goblin King. Or even a Forest of Wisdom dungeon. Clown and Smoulies everywhere! And at the end, the group had to take down the BangBang Tree -wink- or Wise Clown. Simply put, more dungeons are NEEDED, and there needs to be enough level bracket coverage to have 2 available dungeons available no matter the level of your character.
Loot Loot Loot!
There needs to be some awesome epic looking gear only available in a dungeon. Give the players something to collect. I know there's plenty of mob weapons I've seen that would make awesome gear! Like Sikuku Gorgoyle Scythes. Or Staffs. Or the Sikuku Axes. or the Ikaness Assassin daggers! Goblin Kings Crown! Goblin Kings Cape! Clown Hat! and many more. This things don't even need to be drawn and designed, just grab them, add some stats, and poof! new gear.
Leveling
You should get experience for competing and completing a dungeon! Why wouldn't you gain experience as a fantasy figure for clearing out an enemy stronghold! You should get bookoo experience for that! Seriously. I get that the Heroics at 230 shouldn't give it, you can't level anyway. But the rest you should!
Attempts?
Seriously, I get the developers need some incentive to have customers purchase a premium account, but seriously? 1 Attempt at a dungeon... that just reeks of atrocity! Increase the reward yields for completing a dungeon, increase the valor gained, but restricting game play, for not paying for a free game, seems like foul ethics!

Makin some EPIC GEAR BABY!
Spoiler
Seriously, where's the customization of items? I dig the crafting system, it's awesome and creative, but lacks 1 serious feature, diversity.... I'm greatly thankful for all the artisans that have crafted my grinding blue sets, and pvm farming sets. they work great! -Big thanks to Tigh, send him a PM I'm sure he'll craft you some gear too, for a price |I gave him a tip haha|-
I digress~ The sheer small selection of stats that are hard coded to a crafters items is seriously low. Hardened. Darkened, Balanced, Enchanted. like really? I get more of a selection when open my linen drawer! So I propose~ a new system! One that lets you swap 1 hard coded stat for another! -restrictions apply- really though, no stacking 2 AP lines... I loved the idea of a Demon Skull Breaker, but alas, no such thing exists. Not even an ancient... So what am I to do? Get something else, that is sub statted for crit? No way! I want 90 hard coded crit on that bad boy! OR for my farming weapons, I want hardcoded aspd and crit on my dualies, sub statted for ap crit! and on my tank! I want hard coded def and hp recovery!
-some will point out the WoW Refordging system, which is only theoretically the same, in principle! Make it special or unique, and make it available as an NPC option! This will boost Arti crafted item sales! This will give power back to the player controlled economy! And it will add a nice new zuly sink!!!! OMG YUSH... -stfu troll-

There should be more pet capsules! And not so many planet restricted pet capsules! This ones short and sweet, I feel all mobs should be available as a capsule drop at a low rate.

Unique? You mean the skill i just saw another player using?
Spoiler
Really! Where's the uniqueness in the unique skills? I really do feel that there should be a LOT more unique skills, and not just restricted to classes. Like Mana break, sure it's only viable for Caster classes to learn, but really it is available to any class out there. Adding in a mana break to your knight rotation, with a lil MP regen gear does impact your chaces to win against another knight!
My honest thought on this, is that it would give more end game skill content for players to expand upon, yesh there's a skill update in the works, but from the most part of what I've seen, it's mostly all the same skills, with different numbers, and a few changes to the way passives work, and 1 or 2 new skills here n there for each class. [thanks for giving xbow hawkers a shield slam!]

This is gonna be ... wait for it, LEGENDARY!
Spoiler
Really! Make some new tier items! Legendaries, Mythicals, Epics, or whatever. And make them HARD TO FIND / ACHIEVE! I think, there should be 3 new types of item tiers.
Mythical - Quest tier top grade equips. Orange Name color.
Legendary - Farming tier top grade equips. Fuschia Name color.
Epic - PvP top tier grade equips. Red Name Color. [not the level 200 purple named ones, those are 'unique' grade for those that are going to scream at me for some unknown reason]
As for other things, some new weapon types would be cool, 1 handed axes for starters. 2 Handed crossbows maybe? Lances? [you know like a jousting knight uses] perhaps shoulder launchers/cannons? oh I know, Tolms for casters [2 handed magic weapon], how about daggers for hawkers/raiders? or 2 handed maces for soldiers. Scythes for mages? [2 handed] ionno, the list goes on.. oh, rapiers for knights almost forgot that one...

Implementation of a open world PvP based on factions!
No but really let's be a bit more detailed here. After a player has achieved their 'fate' from the 'fate quest', there should be an option that allows a player to toggle open world pvp on or off. Members of the opposing faction could attack and likewise with your factions players. Points would/should/could be distributed, that are redeemable for fate-faction specific things, like maybe recolored weapons and armor, new jewelry, new unique skills. etc.

Seriously, I'm TIRED of grinding like a maniac to get some levels, we need some more quest's! Heck, maybe some repeatable quests, that give a respectable amount of experience! After around 120 or so, quest's are done and over with, except maybe the faction quests on eldeon, but they aren't worth doing after level 160. so that leaves 230-160=70 levels worth of just flat out grinding. It's boring, no-one wants to do that, PvE is fun sure, but grinding isn't really PvE, its BSvE [button spamming vs environment]. I think repeatable quests, that give a % of your experience bar, not a fixed flat amount, should be added. If this and Experience Dungeons were added, I KNOW people would actually enjoy leveling up! and going out and beating down some monsters for some awesome new loots. and gain a few levels while you're at it!

Great we have mounts! A lot of people have been waiting for those for a LONG time and we are grateful But, no freedom was gained! Next on the chalk board is flying mounts! Mounts that can actually move up into the air, and decent back down with a simple control! Suggesting something like 'w' & 'e' become 'up' and 'down' while on a flying mount.
-But what about the map limits, wouldn't people fly off the maps?
Maybe, but all you need is to add a binding box for the whole map, that has a top, bottom, and 4 sides around the whole map! -genius-

Spoiler
Let's talk Castle Gears for a moment. What are they good for? well at the moment nothing, so let's fix that! More weapons, more schematics, more types of CG's. Let's bulk up the mana steam engines and GIVE HELL WHAT FOR!! I say bring on the Mana Steam engine rovlution!
Carts, Let's turn our little speedy buggies into machines of war and all things our enemies fear! More weapons, more level tiers, more speed and destruction!!
