Hats,
3x BM,
2x gums,
rare cards (low price insanely small chance; higher price, small chance)--no MVP cards. (although would DEFINITELY sink a lot of zeny).
A decent amount of KVM
Eden badge
god pieces? - High price / low chance. Might not be SO BAD since the drop rate is rather crap.
Convex mirrors is a really good idea.

Not a bad idea, though we'd definitely need to change up the items being auctioned...what kind of things would you guys not be totally tired of seeing shouted about in town?

Can't you just make it shout in Prontera? Or make it a different color. It floods the chat too much and those that want to raffle will already be on that map.

I know it would be everyones dream to own a ghostring, but without fair -> poor odds and high cost... What's the point? A gamble should be a gamble, not a seemingly outright purchase. As for default losing rewards, they shouldn't variate. When people figured out that raffle wasn't worth the effort on loss... They gave up on it.

A good example could possibly be:

1 HE BM = 300,000 - 500,000 Z per try with 40-60 blanks as a reward on loss.

OR

1 3x BM = 750,000 - 1,000,000 Z per try with 120 blanks as a reward on loss.

Whatever the choice ultimately ends up being, the resulting loss should be less significant then the intended zeny sink. While still being enough to entice players to spend their money on raffle.

lol no one would bet on anything like that.

It'd be completely pointless. I do wish they'd put some BMs in the Eden Merit Badge exchanger, though.
People can say what they want about not having high-worth items (god components/MVPs/DR/GR/etc) there, but it's going to be the only way to get rich people to actually SPEND money. If the rich aren't spending money it's pointless to keep.

Think about this rough calculation:

Price of item on the most expensive server. (When item has no price, use multiples)

Apply 25%~50% to the price of that item. ROUND UP if necessary.

Divide by a chosen number of odds. (Hint: Use multiples of 500)

Done, price of each bet.

Then for the losing prize, add items based on the half of the price of the bet.

Well, they can add SOME MvP cards but in a toned down version or with double the debuffs..etc. But no to MvP cards/gods pieces even though people surely will drain their zenys here like mad lol.
