I know the first thing that will be seen is the very high price, this is due to the cost of us importing them, and our shipping out to our players. That headgear should not be gained by any other means other than buying the figurine. If it was later on able to be gained by kafra item or by some quest I'm sure the people that bought the figurine would be pissed. I guess some people that bought the figurine might be able to sell it for a good chunk of zeny to the kawaii-headgear-girl-collectors though if it was made trade-able.

It's 60 bucks for a figure, and you get the headgear as a bonus.

I know, but last time they sold stuff like this you at least got a very useful headgear (+10% aspd) as compared to this one. This one is horrible for actual in game use =*(. Yes I missed the whole point of a figure, but i just care about the in game part XD. If the headgear was good then I'd spend the chump change for it but ATM its not worth it.

If the headgear had actually been useful as anything from Lucky box or something I would have bought the figurine, then I could have rationalized it somehow. It's cute but I am not paying $60 for it. Tweaking the stats on that ribbon to be useful wouldn't have costed them anything and they could have sold more figurines. not sure why they didn't.

The nedroid figure is about 3500 yen in japan, which is about $43 ~ $44 US. When you account for shipping from Japan, I don't think you'll do much better than what gravity's offering, shipping overseas is killer.

Also worth to mention that the figure was released as a limited edition working only on pre-orders afaik. At this point, you may have problems finding a store that still sells it.

Just found it for 30$. How often do you order from Asia? I order electronic parts pretty frequently and shipping is always free or less than a dollar or two.

$30 what currency? Shipping included? Is it a pirate version?

Shipping is 680 yen with SAL, and because they take Paypal only, minus 2 yen from the rate you see on xe and you get the actual amount.

So that figure there, shipped to the USA using SAL (3 weeks at least) will be about $44.60 USD today. In another month or so I expect the xe exchange rate to be something like 1 USD to 79 JPY so it'll raise up another dollar or so.

Making it rarer would be a nice bonus for purchasing items with them
It will be a good way to market new items in the future too and stop people from importing direct for the ingame item bonus

^I think those who import knows fully well that what they're buying won't get them the in-game item since it's marketed for another version of the game. (I mean, I brought Akita Kome's RO manga knowing fully well that I'd never get Noa's Hat in iRO.)

If you acquire the Arch Bishop figurine elsewhere you don't get the game swag. It may come with a code, but that code will do nothing on iRO.

Also I am suspicious of sites selling it at under 35 dollars as that is under production costs, as these were products that were created via a partnership with RO and Good Smile so getting a cheaper rate than us by many dollars sounds a little suspicious.
