it would be pretty funny if they mess up the monster penetration addition and mobs start one shotting people. . . 

 

This is why I"m cautiously optimistic about this patch. Praying for the best, preparing for the worst. History is just not on their side when it comes to things like this, especially when this is conveniently coming out right when they're pushing Honing (which, naturally, must be done with items bought with real money).

 

I think whether I stay at this game or move on to TERA or Elder Scrolls Online rests with tomorrow's patch.

Lol are you seriously removing the skill reset for applied no element -.- if anything remove the union points or chance coupons

 

While they are at it take out the blessing powder and replace it with Infinim.

Question: Is there a chance you will realize that no fair players wants honing?
By adding the honing system, you're doing nothing except making the game
more pay-2-win for the remaining players. Also honing has nothing to do
with a real Ragnarok Online game, so what is the real point? It won't fix anything. 

Why not make some nice things like housing instead, so that every player
can have his/her own in-game-house and places with fun minigames?

   -Quiver can be now refined

 

Quivers can already be refined as of now, Zanbee. Even tho it does absolutely nothing to refine them since they dont benefit from refining AT ALL. But they can be refined nonetheless..

 

However, last time Honing was implemented, quivers were the ONLY offhand that we couldn't hone at all. Make sure you refer to this, and not to refining, please.

Well, I know the patch notes arent complete and all until after patch (and some ninja fixes to be reported by the player themselves)

 

But, now that I see this horrifying idea coming back again, I can't help to notice that this line here that I am quoting is the only, sole, unique, single mention of how you get your hands on the powder.

 

Are powders (at least random box for them) going to be implemented as well on the MP and BP NPCs?

It just seems odd to be noted as an update when its something we already -can- do. With honing coming up, I assume they meant that quivers can now be honed; at least its what I'd hope so, since refining them is just a joke/waste =/

Do you even read previous posts? Or forum at all? It seems like you don't.

 

Quivers dont get anything from being refined. Any boost at all. Refining them is useless.

 

Not to mention this "more powerful this class" comment... Have you read forums? Just because some rangers around are so strong doesn't mean the whole class is. In fact, haven't you seen so many warriors basically oneshotting people around in colo? Many priests still winning often? Of all the classes, rangers -currently- aren't exactly the strongest. They've have gone through several nerfs lately. It's nothing like during "multishot/poison arrow" times where they were doing 2-3k per DoT. In fact, we have now classes doing DoTs 8-9k per tick.

 

Again, do read forums around. I'm not bashing other classes, but let's not judge without knowing anything either. There's lots of things going on atm. Mainly a much needed class balance.

You can buy them with MP, from the cat next to Gilgamesh as he showed during the livestream.  You can also buy PvP honing boxes with BP.
