Event

Game Changes

Colosseum participation number lowered from 30 to 10.  Delayed

Encryption updated.

 

 

Bug Fixes

Mounts and transformed Beast masters appear as a black silhouette until you mouse-over them

Repairing armor will not actually reflect the repaired status until something modifies your stats

Morroc WoE: Getting too close to the fortress gates cause the guardians to teleport through the door and aggro you.

Speed Hack error shows up when game framerate is too high, such as in populated cities.(HS will run if client's FPS getting over 12 frame)

Various circumstances will cause items to become grey and unusable/unmovable until relogging

Wizard's Cazar set effect has 40 Strength, even though Strength is not used by Wizards.(Str => Cast Speed)

Colosseum: Players can use seed runes in Colosseum, which disrupts the balance Colosseum should have.

When Njoror asked our opinion (they were against changing colo to 10) he said the rounds:

 

The stages would go 10>8>6>4>2>winner.

5 rounds. Starts with 10, then 8-6-4-2-1 through the rounds.

Actual question: Will Himelmez's Token daily quests be ending today? 8/20 patchnotes says it will run for 6 weeks, and it's a little over 6 weeks now. Prefer to have a bit of warning in order to exchange tokens.

There is a chance the changes to Colosseum may be delayed, as Njoror requested we be able to test it. If they decide to pull it, we'll find out tonight and update the patch notes. As for the Himmelmez dailies, there was no mention of them in the patch notes, so if we receive notice about them, we will update the notes.

You just killed colosseum, one of the things that keeps people playing the game.. gg instant win for hide classes. Why did this need to be changed? All we wanted was good colo rewards and fixes for out of battle bugs in colo and we're good to go... current colo is really really fun if you ignore that.

Most likely they were going off on pre-PH feedback where Colo wasn't filling up (only 1 to 2 per session). Of course, now it's less of a problem since we consistently get more rounds (like 6 or so), though never as much as we had last year.

It's like they held a grudge against those of us who go in at the last minute for free and quick BP and screwed every legit player in the way.

The 1vs1 duel just to FORCE there being 5 rounds in exactly the same way as right now is the most preposterous part.

Why I come, every week, to this topic, eager to see another portion of the "skill balance" (yea that same one that gave thieves 700% Cross Impacts) and am always let down? Should've learned by now!

Final Rounds are screwed if they implement 10 man Colosseum. 1v1 on Colo is unbalanced.

 

- Rogue destroys Soulmakers on final round, regardless how buffed a SM could be.

- Monks are 1 shotting most of the classes without any skill, is just Gfist and easy kill, i'm having hard time as an Assassin to kill some Monks on Colo, now a final round with a Monk would be awful. If you ever fix Hidding classes being able to attack from hidding i would be fine.

- BeastMasters heals a ton on Colosseum, deal another 1 shot with Brutal Strike + Armor Rip + Guild skill.

- Assassins destroy Crescentia's and most of squishy targets using Queen of Destruction pet and hitting from hidding. It is an insane amount of damage with CI + Ymir + GS on Colosseum against them.

 

Seriously, i could make a big list of why, making a 10 man Colosseum would be bad but i guess Njoror knows it.

 

Don't destroy Colosseum.

Ohdear.... I'm still right. It's as if devs do exactly the opposite of what we ask them to do. We ask for white, they do black. We ask black, they implement white. We ask nerf to this class, they buff it. Perhaps we need to learn korean, guys. Or try asking the opposite of what we want? lol

 

Seriously, tho. 10man colo? Pvp is pretty much one of the, if not THE, only things that's keeping few people playing this game still... and you're killing that too? How can we have "balanced" pvp, when there's no balance among classes, formulas for some are broken, bugs prevent people from even performing well in colo (you thought skill is what matters there? lol yeah right)
