Where should I level after getting GX? Obviously I'll dip into Gramps whenever the timer runs out, but where's a good place?

 

I assume it'll be with the bounty boards, if it is, which one is best for this build?

My defaul setup in most of mvps is +9FQL]Drake/missing] and +7 Ice Pick[AK]/+10Main Gauche[4xAK], +12 White Drooping Eddga, +9HBP, +9 Temp Agi AD4 Lucky Day, 2x Megs, Rudra ASPD1 and Costume Santa Hat, Elemental armors or brynhild.
And consumables as aloeveras, ressentment, +20 str, sesame pastry etc...
Its a double attack dual dagger build, with frenzy effect and dark claw i made up to 265k dmg on Amdarais *-*

 

You should try something like Ifrit or Kraken dude....thats some serrrrious dmg and i bet you could take them out

I know it was mentioned on the first post that this build is designed for MVPing but will this build ever work for pvp? And is DD really better for a crit build than katar?

@SirDillHole I used to do the raydric BB a fair bit, it gives nice exp and if you get the card that would help out a bit too, but that place is much better if you have aspersio scrolls or a slave character to aspersio you. Later on, Scarabas become good too, especially now with the BB for them.

@Havenn Kraken isn't very hard, I killed it pretty easily with little preparation at 150.

@BlowInTheXark I'm not sure about pvp these days, I haven't done any in years. As for critting, as long as you have the funds, DD crit will do better dps than katar crit due to the abundance of card slots/Ice Pick and how good individual daggers are, such as FQL.

i have the replay file of that OGH run, maybe i upload it on youtube, as far as i remember took about 1,5s for Root of Corruption and about 3s for Amdarais, without eddga proc

I'm guessing nightmare OGH will be unsoloable as a GX sadly. The last boss seems to have shield reflect. AKA we kill ourselves in 1/10 of a second.

hello there.. im a crit katar GX, my question is, which is better lower headgear overall for me, i have CD in mouth at the moment, but im thinking if an advanced assassin mask would benefit me better dps-wise?

CD in mouth is probably best for straight up dps, but there are plenty of MVPs you don't want to be using it on. Aside from that one, lower doesn't matter too much. Adv. Assassin Mask or 99 Love Balloons.

Aren't those the skills of the normal amdarais? Pretty sure nightmare versions have different skills... For example, nightmare corruption root has that poison swamp thing from faceworm nest.

May I ask where do you find those info? I can't even find amdarias on irowiki

i believe its not the normal amdarais, cuz this one has power-up, wich the normal one doesn't has

But anyway, having power-up is also bad news, with 42,3m hp and power up, our flee will be useless for most of the time

Both versions of Amdarais have Power Up.

He's supposed to use it after casting Hell's Judgement and Grand Darkness, but he isn't able to, because both of those skills have very short delay and are higher priority than Power Up. It's probably a bug in Amdarais' AI.

Nightmare Amdarais does have Shield Reflect. I don't think a RG is stupid enough to use a melee attack against it though. The reflected damage you saw may have been Inspiration's self damage.

Oh could be that too then, but can VP be reflected? I'm not sure, I never really got into playing my RG.

 

Imo giving monsters reflect as well as millions of hp is kind of a cheap shot against pure melee classes.

In such case, maybe we can suck up 98% of HP using spell breaker and deal with the rest with 4 or more HF carded weapon(s).
