ranger -
30m range = 1 sec atk speed, 100% dmg, 100% movement speed
40m range (1 buff active) = 1.2 sec atk speed, 120% dmg, slow on hit 1m/sec, 75% movement speed
50m range (2 buffs active) = 1.5sec atk speed, 150% dmg, .1 second stun, cannot move, bonus effect = perm camo (while not moving or attacking gain perm invis. while attacking and 30sec afterwards fully visible)
remove all active skills and add passives
leg shot - % chance to reduce movement speed for short period of time
arm shot - % chance to reduce %scad/cad for short period of time
head shot - % chance to stun for short period of time
body shot - % chance to reduce armor and resist for short period of time
AA ranger that kicks ass

are you saying caster SHOULD have capped defense? last I checked ranger should steamroll casters NP.
wait are you talking about sins? idk about your crappy sin, but most ive seen are near capped defense. and yet again ranger should steamroll sins

sooooo....your argument on 5k dmg? right...only vs naked caster will you get that 5k, otherwise nearly every other class can get capped defense, or shouldn't even be able to (must I remind you that my defiler has 4.6k SRD and 3.5k LRD) so, doable.

Hello ,
Long time i haven't play but when i take a break.
Playing ranger was hard cause all player have 15k + HP .
Doing 2-2.5k DPS Staying statik izi to kill .
-Shoking firing casting time 1.5sec | stun duration 3 sec [ cd too long ... xD

Let see how they plan to balance the Class =)

I have a very bad feeling about this. Removing ammo and giving me bow dmg is awesome yes. The only reason a launcher is even a weapon choice for avenger is if its trinity level damage and you use a double debuff on long range. One on weapon and the avenger skill. If you tamper with spreading chill defence debuff in anyway you will destroy any use i have for a launcher. I suggested to you about 9 months ago to readd avenger knuckle skills thus making the class unique and fully scad based hybrid. I even sent you guys the old launcher files containing the skills. Avenger should be running around doing aoe knuckle physical skills and trap dmg fully scad based. Also if you plan to remove avengers ability to dash with a launcher can you please at least add another manner of dashing.
Right now avenger is facing off against for example a 52k hp, cap light and defence zerk who has reflect maxed and a heal and can chain stuns and terror. What ever your going to change it needs to be freakin massive at this point.

As i have played this class since it was released. I know it more than most players..
Also, Defense buffs and heals are exceptionally great, I don't think rangers are superior beacue of brutal classes like sin, zerk, commander,
Ranger should be mainly a single dps dealer , helping to suppress group ememies and resisting the offensive of zerk and commander
- improve Bombing to decreasing targets' s moving speed
- remove penalty of Range extension
- replace penalty Posion bomb Firing with accuracy
- reduced casting time of Shock Firing
- rename fixed firing and increasing moving speed boost insteand of decreasing.
- improve Headshot by decreaing tagret's stats such as attack damge, PCC, CAD, SCC, SCAD.
- allow rangers to spam skills on stealthing targets while stealth detection is active.
- reduce skill downtime of uppercut and add few secs stealth for ranger if stun on target is succeeded.
- create CAD based armor for rangers
- add CAD on launchers
- improve PB so it can strengthen ranger characteristics....

haha, 3k dps at 50 meters is just a joke. you will never experience what you say if you play as a ranger.
I say add cad but I never amount . ...you casters are already op with scad gears and pb, why do you care about rangers?
you just want casters get their advantages and other should have 0 advantage.
oh let give penalties on skills for all casters

Why the hell does a skill that has a chance to reduce hp by 50% need ANY more adjustments to make it powerful. If you want a /godmode button then just plainly ask gravity.
You said ranger should mainly be focused on offensive suppression, unfortunately those classes have rushes so your advice to buff slows is pointless. You're talking about buffing/reducing cast times of just about everything you name here. That's not balancing that's trying to have your cake and eat it too.
And If you are ranking the commander class up there with zerk and sin classes you are either smoking that good stuff or have not played this game in a while.

you can ask any rangers in game, do they use this skill in bf? Its just like a -500000hp/50000000000000000000000sec dot for defiler.
I would comment to redcue the %, increase the skill success chance and decrease other stats.

We all know what ever Helium has cooked up in that crazy head of his is already finished so can you please just post the changes already. Its very likely your going to do something radical and render most of my +30 gear useless so id like to see the dmg sooner rather than later.

one of the best things i have come up with regarding ranger is 5sec cd on diversionary firing.
add 5 dna for diversionary firing to reduce cooldown.
add aoe dna for diversionary firing.
add cad passive thats double other cad buff.
remove the armor penalty to all ranger buffs.
add short stealth to escaping timed by leve
ranger only needs 3 skills to have to spam a escape, stun and a slow...EVERYTHING ELSE IS USELESS!!!!
then ranger can properly do its job ad 40m preventing the battle from getting to the weak. it would also destealth sins that are not in their proper place.

avenger needs to go back to its roots. KNUCKLE!!!
-avengers in s1 used knukles and had passive for it.
-pretty much all of the spam/aoe skills in hunter need to be moved to avenger. (minus diversionary firing) after moving the 1 fast spam skill,
move the three aoes:
"Piercing Strike"
"Multi-strike"
"Smoke Shell"
from hunter to avenger add knuckle to list of weapons for those skill--reduce cast time to .5 sec. then avenger becomes a MONK BOMB THROWER...which is always what i envisioned them to be. the defense debuffs are pretty much useless unless u double debuf.
none of what i suggest takes away from the bomb layers we all know and love. it just will make the gameplay for them much more fun.
