And it's why I said limited abilities for muting and jailing. An actual PAID GM would be supervising the jail where the bots are sent and doing a final assessment for banning. The volunteers would not be able to ban. Muting for spam bots, jailing for bot farms. a recording program like Replay would be advised for proof/reasoning of why a person is being jailed as well.

They would have no skills for attacking things, no ability to tank/kill/trade/etc. Essentially invisible to monsters like in hide mode. The only thing they could do is talk to attempt to engage the suspected bot, mute them, and send to jail.

The problem isn't the number of users but that activity that they are generating. The servers could handle many more characters if everyone just constantly sat still in Prontera.

Warpportal service seems worse than fast food services at this point. 

At least when they up, they apologize and compensate a hoe.

Hell, they even fire staff if they f(uck) up. 

This post seems as if instead of addressing issues yall blame the community. (cough cough, in Camps words - the reason why the server is failing to support us is because too many of people on server)

I don't get the problem here. Either Warpportal aint paying yall enough to do yall jobs, or yall need to step up and do your jobs BETTER!!!
Hell, I wanna speak to a warpportal manager right now, tired of this foolery. 

 

I'm pretty sure RO Restart has made at least 2-3k in cash since the launch so I'm sure that can pay 1 full time person 15 an hour per hour to do they job right.

So negetive.

Oh and i vote fix this server not start another one to have issues repeat.

I dont think this will solve the server problems, since we already have lag and log in issues, and i dont believe people will start on the new server, with probally no market and rare drops, just to merge it latter. To me it looks like a bot paradise, that people will leave their bots in empty maps making money to 6 months later get it into Odin.

We need a anti-bot system, i think we have 2000 players + 1000 priests or leeching characters or merchants or people just sit in city, the other 2000 are probally bots that make server lag. No need to better hardware or stuff like that, when i play at dawn there is no lag because there is basically only me and bots (3500 people online).

Im sure it could. With proper planning. There is a significant amount of good folk here who are very respectable players that would definitely be glad to be a part of this solution. We cant judge our community just by TheBestOneHeres.
