Don't get rid of that Ritual Robe just yet. Fenrir scale has 0 slot.

 

Fafnir Scale is DB RK specific, Ritual Robe Tao still good for other classes, just not as good as Fafnir.

New Summary is as follows.
 

Yggdrasil Ascension is our new OCP Item System. (we are testing)

 

Buy the Tickets from the cash shop and take it to the Yggdrasil Tree Explorer located in the Eden Group. The Explorer will take the ticket and give you your reward. Using the ticket will not consume it but teleport you to the Southern Gate of Prontera. Ticket Claiming is divided into 10 steps. Each step gives a specific reward and when you reach step 10 with the tickets it starts all over again.

 

Each Ticket Costs 400 pts.

Rewards:

Each ticket when claimed will give a reward according to it's step.

Step 1-4 Random Gear from the OCP item archive and 2 Bloody Branch

Step 5 Guaranteed Random Gear rated Semi Rare+ from the OCP item archive

Step 6-9 Random Gear from the OCP item archive and 2 HE Bubble Gum

Step 10 Guaranteed Gear choice from this month's featured list. (Items in testing)

 

Exact lists for the archive, and featured list will be published during maintenance.

This means at by Step 10 you will have spent 4000kp and received the following

why i feel like the each step gonna cost more than 300kp? with zeny and random item involved

so if I am reading that correctly we get a total of 4 gears for 300kp as long as we complete the 10 step?

 

And I'm sure the steps will be harder as they go and will probably require parties.

So basically the idea is that you can guarantee a tier (but not an item) if you use enough tickets, or can stick to pure chance with 1 ticket at step 1 which is how things work now when you open a box. Is this a correct interpretation of that, Camp?

it will come down to how likely it is to pull a newly introduced item by claiming a ticket.

 

Because if the main(or worse, only) way to get the new additions is through the final step "reward", that makes for some pretty damn expensive items.

So essentially they forced u to buy 8 random ocp from firesale and 1 random ocp (semi rare+) before u can purchase " 1 " current ocp

Keep the box model, all new additions in it, and if you wanna reintroduce an older item, put them as filler there. And just slap this system on top of it.

Having EVEN LESS control over what you get for 90% of what you spend just feels bad.

Wow they took our joke literally. We joked about them bypassing the loot box system by selling a scroll/ticket that you can convert to OCP items and it came true.

If step 1 is the same as opening a box now, IMO this is a mostly positive change for those who plan to open multiple boxes in one go. 

Except you don't get to pull out new -_- unless you spend 3000kp :T

Does these come from the new OCP items from each month or does this contain all/only past OCP items.

 

This needs to be clarified, the chance of getting the gear a player wanted varies hugely based on this.

That's assuming you can only get the new stuff at a higher step, if step 1 = current box as we have it with all items in it, then it's fine. 

 

I read Camp's post meaning that if you go to the higher steps, you get an item from the higher tier and skip stuff like the XP shoes or whatever -- not that the higher tier is locked out of the lower steps. 

 

Of course this is my interpretation/assumption, so I may be wrong -- in which case, whack. 

From steps 1 to 9 you can get any item from the OCP archive, will well, is anything they decide to put in there from the past like 30 OCP iterations. It's not even specified if you can or not pull newly added items in these steps, just on the last one. And even then, it's random over what they determine to put in there.

So instead of 300kp at a small chance of getting what you desire, it's now a 3000kp for like what, a 20% shot at it? Depends on how many items in there that month. Also keeping in mind 2700kp of these probably resulted in things from 2+ years ago that you don't even remember exist.

I like the idea of being able to get something 100% after spending X on boxes, I don't like having to compete with a pool of over 500 items. I most certainly don't like it when over half of them are -_-.
