are we gonna get a patch for 2nd class update like priest's ME can be damage all type of enemies not just demon and undead and about the pet update will it take next year ? my hand is hurting me pressing alt J all the time specially when mobbing...

2. We can look at this. 
3. kRO position bug fix was applied in June 2017.
4. Bounty boards currently give more rewards over all with more control by the user on how they get rewards. As for the EXP I believe that the bounty boards are giving 100% as bonus.
 

camptor has any chance of increasing the green cenere spaw rate on the Lab-OPTATIO(verus01) map the current amount is too low.

1. Is there any way we can get an Upgrade NPC where we pick right off the bat how many upgrades we want
 
For example, walk in with +0 chainmail,

  • talk to upgrade npc
  • select chainmail
  • it asks, how many upgrades do you want to perform?
  • We type 4, it auto upgrades 4 times, taking zeny and necessary ores if available
2. Do ideas that do not originate in the studio invalidate the license agreement with them? I see a lot of stuff being answered "we will check with the studio" or is it a matter of WP not having the internal development resources necessary to achieve some of these requests?
 
3. Maximum Zeny count per character. Do we have any hopes of an account bank system instead of needing multiple chars to trade for "end game" items?  I also feel that this ends up resulting in at least 5 accounts per person just to carry zeny. Those characters end up as the chat rooms in Eden that inflate actual online numbers.  Its almost a trickle down effect because of this one limitation.

2. We don't have access to the code base so if it requires EXE changes that is all on the studio.. as they are the development studio. Secondly publishing Ragnarok Online is a partnership and we should be discussing changes with them even if we can do it on our own to prevent issues later.
3. As far as I am aware the current max zeny count per character is hardcoded into the game and can't be changed without update the game. The studio is aware of zeny issues that players are concerned about.
 

With regards to Bio5 MVPs, I recall an update whereby it was supposed to spawn at random points instead of at the north of the map. What happened to this?
 
I wish to suggest that the MVP spawns at the spot whereby the mini boss is killed. This is to encourage fairness as opposed to the current play where some players just wait at where the current MVP spawns and have the first-hit advantage.

​Campitor:  1. I will check the configuration files. If I remember correctly it should be set to random but I am not sure.
 

Can we have you guys (cm's and gm's) get a decently if not geared to the teeth lvl 160 chars and try to lvl in bio5 as party?

It seems you guys think it's a great idea in which none havent even dared thought about here and there seems to be something we're missing, you can stream it on twitch we'll be waiting

​Campitor:  We have applied an update to Lighthalzen where users outside of the bio3-4 BB range can take Adventurer's Guild quests for bonus EXP.

Wanted to ask if its possible we have the lack of exp from gramps at 150 lifted. I have a 150 AB and i get no exp from gramps when i turn in HiTi?

​Campitor: Currently there are no plans to update gramp's level cap. In the future when players can reach higher levels we may revisit gramps and make a Higher Tier turn in section.

Thanks for the detailed answer about the NOGH and for the early Enriched Hammer (it's fine if it will be delayed to early November). Also thanks for looking into the schedule. It's only for Thor anyways, so Chaos and all-server streams can be at the same schedule. :)
 
As for my questions:

  • Are the foreign maps like Amatsu, Kunlun, Malaya, Dewata, etc. would also be placed some Bounty Boards from those remaining Boards to be added? I also hope to also add Rachel and Veins Bounty Boards. Also can the level range of all new bounties be at 30 levels instead of 20?
  • Can the Lasagna Dungeon (preferably inside 1st level near the entrance to the 2nd level) be added to Dungeon Teleporter?

​Campitor: 1. Many of the expansion towns are very limited on what monsters are available. However were will be other EXP sources such as aventurer's guilds opening in most regions.

​Campitor: 1. This update just isn't possible this year. Hopefully we can get more class improvements in 2019

What happened to your plan on revitalizing battleground bruh? I thought we're getting some updated BG equips.

​Campitor: 1. Unfortunately the same issue thats preventing us from getting new OCP items is also delaying most of our item requests. This will be resolved during the hiatus and then we can return to our projects.
 

Dear Camp,

For XMas CLAB, my input is:
You split the mode into few round:
Easy Mode:
Consist of mini boss only. (Ex: dr,angeling,gryphon,dark ill).
Req Level: 40.

normal Mode:
Consist Killable mvp. Can be solo as well. Like GTB,Drake,Mistress,etc.
Req level: 100

Hard mode
Consist of hardest mvp than before like Bapho,enigma cenia,amdarais,
Req level: 135

Very Difficult mode
Consist of unsoloable mvp like ifrit,bio mvp.
Req level: 170

To adding more fun, you reward us with token for each completion for each round finish and redeemed to free refine or buff. hardest difficulty will earn better token.
To increase party gaming, you can add mob spawn during mvp fight or each one member of party addidng certain number of token.
For someone who like challenge, you can give us restriction like solo only/ no mvp gear or OCP gear/disabling certain skill like no dark claw or no unlimit/one class in party only (like all rg or all sura).

Thats my input.

​Campitor: Thank you for your feedback. We weren't exactly happy with the XMAS CLAB's experience last year and revisiting the event structure is very important to the future. Unfortunately as we will be on hiatus XMAS CLAB will most likely not happen this year. 
 

Can we get the amistr bag skill enchant npc tweaked to accept already-enchanted bags the same way it accepts blank amistr bags?

The aim of this is to open up the ability to re-enchant bags for cases when we get a skills that we don't like.
The +7 refine requirement will still exist of course.

​Campitor: I believe that we had implemented the ability to reenchant amistr bags. But if thats not the case we certainly update it to do so.
 

Hi team, Can u live steam show how to finish BB 160-175 at lightazen? We need a guide line for finish it because it is only few option that we have after 160

Astra: We'll take this as a suggestion! I'll talk to the rest of the team about it.
 

Can we also get a small Quality-of-Life update for Mado's: Crazy Uproar, Item Appraisal and Hammerfall are currently not usable while in a Mado suit on iRO while kRO allows these skills. This is nothing gamebreaking, just a small, legal improvement.

Why are GMs banning people for a silly reason?

​Campitor: 1. If you feel you have banned unfairly please contact the customer service supervisor the manager regarding your case. That is the only way to get resolution.

 

Can we get this re-enchant system of [Snip] for us too?
 
For us, Vicious Weapons is just a crap. Just some ppl are using daggers with drake effect.
 
 
Re-rolling Vicious Enchants
You can re-roll the enchants of Vicious Mind weapons (prt_q 238/72), making it easier to get a desirable weapon after refining.
The weapon that will get its enchants re-rolled must be equipped. Enchanting the weapon keeps the refinement level and has no chance to break
 
Keeping a single enchant safe and re-rolling the other two will have the following cost:

  • 1x Vicious Mind Weapon (Same type as the item being re-rolled)
  • 2,000,000 Zeny
A full re-roll of all 3 enchants will have the following cost:
  • 1x Vicious Mind Weapon (Any)
  • 100,000 Zeny

Dear GM,
 
could you update 3rd baby classes max status to 120(currently max stats = 117)? some gears (like temporal boots, seraphim coronet, etc) required 120 based statues to get the effect, thank you

​Campitor: Do you have the kRO link for such as change? Unfortunately this is something that iRO cannot do on our own. If this is part of a future kRO update we can certainly request it.
 

Few questions from my side:
a. Rebel skill description correction. I know i had asked this question multiple times, but so far, the skill description remains incorrect since the awakening update. When to do this correction?
b. IRO customized headgear version 2. I thought someone initiate this project few months. But somehow it just vanishes in the air. What is the status? Is it still on going?
c. Halloween is around the corner. Any special events? Please have some good rewards or costumes this year, instead of recycling the old gears...

​Campitor: 1. I will request the corrected versions again.
2. I will search for more information about it. Off the top of my head I don't think the details ever got finalized but I may be wrong.
3. We will be having a trick or treat event as well as a few other themed things going on.

Can you add the 3rd class headgear (awarded after job change) to the npc sell list? It can go for 0 zeny. I just want to get rid of it. My account is full so I can't dump it on a Novice and delete it. I can't refine it because it takes up the mid and lower slots.
Can you modify Benjamin Button to remember the last selected map and directly deduct 10k zeny, then warp the player (same as Dungeon Teleporter in Eden)? This will hopefully save a few seconds for the folks who are worried about their manual timer running out because the boards got relocated.

​Campitor: I had meetings all week with Melilly and Rufio we discussed what works well for each server and shared ideas about improving service for both iRO and bRO. I didn't really have time to visit too many tourist spots as we were working all week but on Sunday I checked out the street faire on Paulista in Sao Paulo. I did however get to try the local pizza and we had Feijoada for lunch midweek in addition to the standard quick sandwich from the cafes that were most meals.
 
 

The Strange Hydra Quest has been bugged for the longest time, at least since 2016. It is, as far as I know, the only non-cash shop way to obtain light blue potions and oft-used in kRO. Any way we can have this fixed? It shouldn't be that complicated.

​Campitor:  I will check on it and try to fix it this next week.
 

Can we get some sort of old BB Quest purge device?  i have some that are done but i cant get rid of and always show up and its kind of annoying.  Not a deal breaker, but it could be considered a quality of life tweak :P

What is this "One-time Item Restoration" restriction when submitting tickets for item restoration in iRO?
I've already completed multiple successful item restorations before, but on some occasions the gm use this restriction to deny some requests so I'm a bit confused.

It's not mentioned or explained in detail anywhere on the support site for RO
Is it really one-time or not?
if not then how often does it "recharge/reset"?

Can this restriction be reworked?
I'm sure the likelihood of players losing items will just increase as they spend more time with the game, and so will the value of said items. An item lost after 5 years of play is probably more valuable than an item lost just months after starting.

​Campitor: We limit the restores a user can request from the GM team to prevent abuse and but will always at least approve a restore once a year. But if the GM feels that the restore was due to no fault of the player what so ever (for example a confirmed game bug) then that restore won't count against the one time restore policy. We may also consider other circumstances such as the player had a restore for this issue before? (Example, if you have requested a drop trade restoration three times already we most likely will just stop offering restores when you use such an unsecure trade method). All restores are considered special circumstances where we have to consider the individual situation before we can proceed.

TL:DR we put in this restore policy to be more generous than the 2003-2009 GM team. But there are still limits and considerations in place should you ask for a restore.
 

What are the updates that will come to iRO after the 2 months maintenance is over, can you be specific? I read this comment from Campitor:
 

We will be releasing a full list of the updates when it comes time to test and we have the full package. I don't think the AB one made the cut but it is a bigger list. The new game service announcement will come in it's own time.

 
And if even the AB skill change aint making it to the cut, then I seriously doubt theres any justification to spend as long as 2 months with so few updates. You've gotta have a better reason for that, and I hope you can answer this. Or perhaps you will shorten the maintenance time from 2 months down to 1 month or 2 weeks, if there aint many updates at all?

before the announcement, dreaming, calculating, farming and making zeny as my way of playing. after the announcement i cant play and just afk, the hiatus is in my head, please be clear about it, having hard time to trust you guys, is the given guarantee is a guarantee for real? and why not 185 update? 2 months of waiting worth the 185 update.

Sorry about that. I must have auto-corrected his name out of muscle memory. He goes by Belljamin Button. He is the npc who warps the player to the Nightmare Clock Tower maps.

Just want to ask a few questions:

  • Can you request to the studio about Illusion of Abyss and Teddy Bear, AB and SC skill updates, and 1st and 2nd class skill improvement, and possibly 3rd Taekwon classes? The bolded ones are the most needed among them since they should be in this sequence for updates (SC -> Homun -> AB). As long as there's any updates from Renewal servers that were not in Transcendence, there must an update from either or all of those.
  • Can you group the Adventurer's Guild monster selection by dungeon location and have an option to "Hunt All Bio3/4 Monsters"? Also if possible, can the same be applied to the current 140-160 Bounty Boards?
  • Is it also possible to add a Taxi Service directly to the Bounty Board location in Splendide and Manuk from the Teleporter Cat NPCs outside the town (story-wise, the Taxi Service NPC should NOT be a cat :heh: based on the lore)?
  • And please put this (AND IT'S A MUST since it's closer to May, which the old bounties would be removed) to Old Bounty Boards that enables us to quit missions outside the level range. It will also help us not to be more hassle to continue the kill count just to remove the quest (and please don't tell us that the only way is to finish it just to remove them in the quest log). In speaking of quitting mission, it seems there's no option to quit the current mission in the Old Mora Bounty Boards...
  • Can we have a thread about the logs on the documented updates that you received while the main servers (Thor and Chaos) are down?
  • I have made a proposal about a custom Socket Enchantment that will help not only the new players but to also have a zeny drain to the server. If possible, can you guys look into it? I'm not in a rush to implement this if this will be very hard to do (or copy pasting the script from Seiyablem and Leablem).
  • Since iRO is always having to rename most job classes name, like kRO's Star Gladiator to iRO's Taekwon Master, Whitesmith to Mastersmith, and Creator to Biochemist, what would be the name of Star Emperor/Empress? Taekwon Emperor/Empress? Taekwon Lord/Lady? Taekwon God/Goddess? Or no changes at all? Or something else? Just your thoughts on the naming.
  • Would there be any chance to add these hairstyles? pRO (the one that was closed and migrated to Thor) has it before like 6 years ago. Also, they are not costumes but an actual hairstyle:

Then randomize the order of the cancel/purchase options in the dialogue box. 98% of those users wouldn't know how to deal with that situation lmao

The main issue with Paramarket was that it sold monster drops, meaning that there would be no reason to farm monster drops if people could easily buy them from NPC vendors. kRO implemented Paramarket because there weren't enough players on their servers creating a supply of monster drops in their market. Basically, iRO would only implement Paramarket if all the bot farmers suddenly left the server and no one bothered to hunt down monster drops.

Thanks for answering. Just to be clear, since Mado's are one of the most popular builds on kRO as we speak, is this something in your pipeline of future requests or it's something to perhaps expect after the hiatus?

 

For clarification for those that don't main Mechanics, in kRO a Mechanic riding a Mado (mech) CAN use their normal Blacksmith skills/buffs but for some reason on iRO they are not allowed. Not only that, but if you "pre-buff" and then ride a Mado, the buffs are dispelled!

For clarification for those that don't main Mechanics, in kRO a Mechanic riding a Mado (mech) CAN use their normal Blacksmith skills/buffs but for some reason on iRO they are not allowed. Not only that, but if you "pre-buff" and then ride a Mado, the buffs are dispelled!


The reason is that kRO originally designed the Madogears to work that way when Mechanics were implemented. So when iRO got 3rd Classes, those were the settings that were implemented. It's only recently that kRO decided to revisit the job class.

Currently, it's no difference yet. It's still spawning at the same exact point at the north most of the map.

While you're at it, could you take a look at V_B_MAGALETA MVP. It's max pain does not seem to have a cool down, and able to consistently keep it up without receiving any acid bombs.

I would like to know if there will be a rework to the Mystical Card Albums to include new minibosses like Gigantes Cards, Immortal Cursed Knight Cards, etc... (In February ofc, after we receive the huge update patch) The existence of these are scarce and it would help the playerbase if the MCA lists were reworked to include them.

GM can you make the Temporal Manteau [1] effect combo on modified boots as well as same as on the temporal boots . Since Modified Boots and Temporal Boots have the same effect excluding the characters that can be worn . I know in few days this server will be close for 2 months or so but still I'm hoping that you can make a response on this matter or fix the item when the server comes back again in February . Thanks  :)

Hey can make kunai/shuriken cases like rebels ammo cases while still closed beta.
and also put a kunai maker in prontera or juno cos really im having a hard time doing all the supplies you guy already put a kunai seller npc in pront so why not add those two dudes like in amatsu
