players hate the drop penality, though GM's still want it ingame for some reasons.
This would build a bridge - because the only thing that really is wanted from Low Level Monsters besides cards (which are excluded to the penality) are items they need for their skills.
So ViP players can farm them for 1h each weak with the character they need the items for.
Also, these items are getting in a decent amount on the server, so the price for them will decrease on the market, which benefit's the non ViP players.
Penality can also stay ingame without causing too much problems.
So that's one solution for 3 problems.
Item's that "could" be dropped on this way:
Priest Cls: Blue Gemstone, Holy Water, maybe some new items that may help them play, could even be some special merc scrolls? Gemstones could be dropping in form of a box that reduces their weight.
Monk Cls: How about a scroll that immedeatly adds 5 Sphere's? Only useable for Monks. Could help leveling a bit smoother for not having the (little but still) cast time. Some SP Items could be useable, too.
Knight Cls: All items need for creating Runes.
Crusader Cls: Maybe some buff scrolls that benefit's old GC builds? I could imagine a Scroll that is "mirroring" you, allowing you to cast Ray of Genisis alone (only outsite of PvP and WoE of course). But I think this may be to big, so something smaller that helps a bit but doesn't destroy the balance would be nice.
Assassin Cls: All items need for poison creation, incl Enchant Deadly Poison.
Rogue Cls: Makeup Brush, Face Paint, Can of Paint, Paintbrush, maybe traps and quiver?
Archer Cls: Arrow Quiver, Traps, maybe even Quiver with new effects or bigger quiver (1000 arrows for the weight of a normal quiver?)
Wizard Cls: Low Level Spell Books, maybe even new Spell Books. Red Gemstones?
Sage Cls: Elemental Orbs and Gemstones. Again, maybe in boxes to reduce weight.
Blacksmith Cls: Metal (Iron, Steel, Coal, ...), Elemental Orbs, Brigan and Juwels (in an approciate amount of course). Magic Gear Fuel and other Mado related stuff.
Alchemist Cls: From Herbs to special indegrents EVERYTHING they need for creation.
Taekwon Cls: Maybe some buff scrolls, that benefits them. Can be adjusted once their follow up jobs are out. I could even think of some scrolls for TKM that helps them readjusting maps from time to time. Or Soullinker Link for Soul Linker ^^
Ninja: Shuricans and Ninja Orb's.
Gunnslinger: Bullets. Maybe some elemental Bullets? We only have Holy, who would be harmed if they get Fire, Eart, Wind and Water too?
Items should be dropped in a reasonable ammount of course. Like bigger items far more rare, but maybe bringing the people to actually use the instance.
I could even imagine some difficulty levels. Due to this instance can only used from one person alone, not a party, make it easy for low levels, average for a simple farming or hard for an adventage. The monsters should fitting the respective cls and the higher the difficulty is, the higher is the chance for dropping.
Priests should only get undead monsters for example. Of course, the monsters should not drop a card or give exp ;3 Maybe even a death-end. Like, if you die, you're out. Don't allow the players to carry Token of Siegfried or Kafra Card's with them would prevent an ressurection in the instance itself.
This makes more sense for me as a buff npc that prevents people from partying together.
it helps only. Maybe it sounds p-server like, but I think this is far better than some other stuff, due to the drop penality.

Now you have to go around and ask. And to be frank there aren't many players now that know the exact whereabouts of all the guilds.

A NPC that gives you a random gift once a week or day. Depends on how good the reward item list is.

I'd like:
- A teleport service to most or all dungeons. The NPC could dynamically modify its list of destinations to include dungeons for which you've completed the access quest.
- The existing teleport NPC to have much less dialogue.
- The +7 buffs to be activated by an item (that only works if you have an active subscription). It's very inconvenient to have to return to a town with an Eden Group NPC every half hour while you're levelling.
- The item drop penalty to be disabled.

On euRO we got Bossnia only few times for 2 weeks or so... (and it was way to much for many...)
Having Bossnia permanently ingame... that would take all the worth from MvP Cards and treasury...

What about access to VIP dungeons, are we getting those? I'd like to be able to go to Bossnia for example
And the +7 to all stats NPC is nice, but I'd like to see it give Agi/Bless/Gloria.
This makes priests useless, while taking some of the burden from asking for buffs it renders priests inert except for special buffs.
It's also why it doesn't give +10, as bless gives +10.
I like that it doesn't stack with food because it doesn't superbuff those with VIP but gives a nice edge instead.
I also have VIP btw, so I'm not one who complains because it's so op or whatever.

Have it require the Elemental stone and charge a small fee so as not to make endow alt characters completely useless.

2) Decrease the cool down time & requirements for quest with VIP subscribers.
3) Improved success chances with all creation systems: Brewing, Forging, Cooking, etc.
4) Do not nerf what we currently have available to the community. Only enhance the community experience with other offerings. VIP in my opinion: Should be an extension of the game, a bonus for paying to play. So please find ways to entice your player base to pay without breaking the games mechanics. The added exp and no loss on death for example, was a good idea.
&) Unrelated to VIP: The return of the kill count NPC's to some of the lower leveled fields would be a welcome sight.

First time, you would pay 1^2 = 1 million zeny
Second time, 2^2 = 4million zeny
Third time, 3^2 = 9 million, then 16,25,36,49,64million... etc.
It would not be much abusable since cost gets too high fast, at about four or fifth reset people would rather using reset stones. But it leaves you some margin to test your chara, and would be a nice addition for starting a character, or people coming back instead of just having 1 reset without knowing the new builds yet.... Plus it would be a good zeny sink.

1. All Kafra to have Full HP/SP and Agi/Bless for free / small fee
2. Food Buff NPC is most major town, woe castles and dungeons
3. Free teleport to all major cities or discounted 50%
4. Additional 10% chance on upgrade success from +4 onwards which stack with HD and Enriched ores
5. Restore both Turn-In NPCs from pre-Renewal and popular Turn-In Event NPC for VIP (ie. Abyss Lake Dungeon, Turtle Island & Ice Dungeon)
6. Add Turn-In NPC at new places (ie. Nameless Island, Magma Dungeon, Magmaring, etc...)
Well, that's all I can think of for now. Maybe I'll add more later lol xD

Learn to adapt the VIP system from AMEX or from the Harrahs/MGM Casino Resorts in Las Vegas where there are those who are vip and those who are ***VIP***. Gravity like most companies should realize that a large portion of thier revenue from iRO comes from a small portion of users. I'm pretty sure despite how much many people claim to spend in this game, a small percentage of people say 20% probably drop about as much as the remaining 80%. The Amex cards are a great example of how you can have people with vip status (ie. Amex Platinum holders) and those with elite vip status (Centurion). Anyone can apply for an Amex platinum card and get VIP status for various things but only the top tier get 'invited' to get a Centurion card if they qualify based on current spending data. You could adapt that to the iRO VIP system and offer an additional tier of VIP bonuses to your top big spenders.
It could just be as simple as giving a couple of modular bonuses from the stuff people mentioned above or further extend existing services. I for one would LOVE to see an 'engraving' service of some sort to get my name on some of my non-god and non-forged items like my Violet Fear or maybe some account bound tokens that give me a high success rate on upgrading gears. That way it's not super broken and can't be overly abused. Or how about a ticket to goto Bossnia for 'you and your friends' ie. you and your party. One ticket per month, with regular Bossnia access available from the kafra shop for 200kp each person and a 1 week cool down time like ET but per account.
I'm pretty sure someone is going to cry about how this but thats how businesses run. My clients that drop $1000-$2000 are not treated any worse than my clients that drop $10-$20k+, but I will sure as hell go out of my way to make sure the ones that pay my living expenses for the rest of the year are well taken care of. The free loaders that always ask me about stuff but have never dropped a single penny still get taken care of, but paying clients get prioritized.

I dont know why people are asking for so many things. As a valk player, the exp/drop bonus,1% dp and +300 storage is enough to keep me on ViP.
I'd have to agree with you, 7 dollars that we pay somewhat amounts to premiums so in a sense all the extra stuff is just sugar coating for kiddies
also what would be the point of renewal (aside game mechanics) if they brought back low exp turnins, i think low leveling grinding is fine regardless of the class, just boils down to wether you can endure it and know where to level or not (its not hard to ctrl + ~)
money from killing monsters (like that cramp card thingy) would be better off than 100kz per hour tbh, at least it'd encourage players to go out and /zombie mode the whole map ;p

as an alternative, additional conversion bonus for VIP users would be nice too.
but most importantly, i'd like to see the most annoying thing, cooldown timers for everything, either gone or significantly reduced. the battlegrounds/kvm timers for instance would be a good canidate for removal. GX quest timers are another.
