You want to know why the community has been going down hill, and you cant find those happy players anymore Heim?
I have been on and off iro since the beginning.
I remember when gms didnt speak english and even a time when one gm decided to kill everyone in prontera and talk in gm voice to the entire server and tell us off.
I loved how hard the game was and how you had to work at things, (of course there have been glitches and things to exploit ever since then, which I avoided).
It was the year that guild wars was coming and at the time I thought the botting was at its peak (learned my lesson there).
Whole guilds of botters and maps full of them. And back then we knew who the botters were too.
Then Came name change.....great now who knows who the botters are.
Oh wait before that was the free month right? with the bot armies?
And and at some point we got kafra shop. And the first thing we do there is allow people to buy things that are really closely resembling things or are things, that people ahve worked hard to get. Black Cat Hat and Maj Goat and such. Thus for the people who spent hours making things or making things to sell you destroyed the price of things for them.
Ok I shouldnt continue, or should sum it up.
Bot
bot bots
Kafra boxes with things that should never have been entered into game or back into game.
paid bots
more bots
And above all else more bots, getting some people ahead and others get tired of it.
Well people will prolly try to flame this post but to be honest its all just true.
People stayed because the game itself is original.
Slowly people get tired of all the bs and leave. Most come back from time to time but its a new server and such.

My suggestion to the future of iro:
1. hire a team , take volunteers (trusted ones who dont play iro themselves) something and just take care of all bots, on all servers. I do mean all servers, just because the "free" server doesnt pay per month doesnt mean it isnt bringing in a ton of revenue. Kill the bots, Hell you can really target the paid servers cus you already got thier money for the month. Just means if they want to bot they have to pay again.
2. Add on to the bot, find their main account and ban them too.
3. When you update the kafra shop take out things that are found in game. Make new items that are only found in shop. Would make it more fun too. Make consumables that just make moving around easier cheaper. People will buy more of them. I mean such as dun teleport and wings.
4. Kafra and special event boxes. Dont RErelease items. Make it special that you got those items and never put them out again. It makes them valuable in game and makes the person that two years from now that has it, feel all special. (plus raises the value over time) I dont think there is a problem with ideas (remember the create a headgear contest). If you need another place to look at that does the same take a hing from gaia. I know thats just a forum game thing but they do the same thing.
Lets see so that fair play, bad people banned.. oh I knew I forgot something.
5. Ban all these people for a few days for what they say in public chat. Well announce that you will take care of it and when people report ban them for a few days. I mean I see some bad stuff in public now. Two people just having cyber sex right in the middle of payon.
Now to be honest I am a little nervous to post this. Because the last time I posted something like this on the iro site (before we had forums) I was banned for 7 days for asking them to get rid of bots
This breakdown is LONG overdue, and if anyone reading this don'tunderstand Game langauge, an NPC option's unlimited, including adventures beyond Quests, Training, Guild Wars, PVP, Idem Hunting, Monster Defeats, Black-Marketing, Fame, Wealth, and so forth, which many Explorers from Society believes that's all there is to Planet Ragnarok, maybe your goodwill impressions about Gameplanet is causing population injuries, thus self injuries as well, when one's adventure is just beginning, and somehow did so much research that they missed, not all things are documented in time chronicles, however, Travelers from Society wanted more, missing a hugh adventures for less understanding, and True Gamers residing on Planet Ragnarok who divided there's more that's meet the eye, was condition as illusional, so many Legendary Warriors retreated to M...T... ...y., which it's not on the map, and MVPs is not allowed either. Understanding beyond way people play by, (not including small time campaigns that attract a Warrior's weapon such as, Guild Wars, Wealth, Fame, PVP, Lvl completions, but lvls ARE required), can only get you there. There still exist Regions traditional to wisdow over Zennies.
#1's Reply: Your Gameplanet Masters has misinform your dimension, and i wish to shed light what haven't yet been introduced to your campaign. Planet Ragnarok is established with Class Guilds as we all know, yes, but each Class representation's authorization that's equal to a GM, are different Factions who sits at the same table with GMs, except for the Mercenary Guild, and Private Corp who's numbers surpasses every Guild with ease, and are in their own league, however though, The Swordman, Merchant, Swordman, Thief, Magic, Forrest Bow, not forgetting other classes, do have different views and ideas. Erasing Capital Knight from venturing Gameplanet, is asking the Class Births to cease to exist, after dating hard working so many Ragnarok Dynasty rains, and would unbalance birth right Title Regions.
#2's Reply: I onced agreed bots should be removed. When the 9 of us finally united in M..s..r. C..., i was the last to make it there, there were bots there fogging up the chatline with Blue words, instead of white, so i was like WT., and all that, and went over there clicking on it, then learn major knowledge on NPCs, but only will share the Special NPCs blending in with other NPCs. I was mentally surprised to learn what i already knew, but never had proof, that there are NPCs who've been assign by Keyplayer Guilds to collect data on Warriors, and based on each Warriors decisions, actions, speech's expressions by (anyone's charc), can bring everything to life activating daily events and also alter changes by Dynasties ON Planet Ragnarok, not outside it, which one doesn;t need to visit an NPC for Quests anymore. Instead your Hired by the City you supported the most, in terms of buying and selling idems to NPC for whatever one's reason is. The Guild Counsel and the Bots are somehow related i believe. Almost like Planet Ragnarok Researchers.
I have to cut intell there, but i will save this, NPCs on Planet Ragnarok is as real as us, who my friend, has goals too. Indeed, indeed.
#3's Reply: 10 years ago, just before M..s..r. C..y would have open it's borders, The Knight, Swordman, Mercenary, Merchant, Idem Hunter Guilds, and Private Corp, all traveled different paths just to make it to M..s..r. C..y, since there's no portal that embraces reentries. The Thief Guild had other problems to worry about, so they didn't attend the Sitdown. Rules to The Sitdown, each Guild were to arrive 9 Warriors strong. No weapons. No Army.
The Knight Guild: The Capital City: (GM Representives)
Swordman Guild: Ally
Merchant Guild: Ally
Went to discuss that Change, Vote Elections, Guild Barrack Recruiting, Kingdom Recruitng, Economic and Business Development, and plenty of other stuff i can't remember
The Mercenary Guild:
Idem Hunters: Ally
Went to discuss the peace agreement blocking PVP and Guild Wars Gobally.
I trailed along to tied up a loose end, but held back for something bigger than my sword's suggestions.
Private Corp: (Nobody know who these guys are, or where they came from, but i did confirm that the Capital Knight knew them somehow)
Private Corp went and had no intentions of talking. They went to M..s..r. C..y for a showdown.
When i finally arrived to M..s..r. C..y, first thing that popped up at the top of my screen, was a timer. All my stats increase by 50%, and skill Damage and usage increased by 50%, then walked outside and saw everybody fighting, and couldn't believe PVP was in the C..y, and outside the C..y. What popped up on my screen next, i wasn't ready to see that, and couldn't mentally install this was a Fight to the Defeat. A real fight with true meaning, that's was worth drawing my sword. Blue words scroll boldly across my screen, if you're defeated, your charc is no more. I went crazy with excitement i couldn't contain, and charged the GM Warrior who sentenced me to rot in a Prison, and didn't have proper manners to allow me visitors at least.
We fought for two 2 hours in real time, but finally defeated him, but new things kept popping up as battle grew hot: Finish them off... I was almost there to finish him off, but some Magican did a move a never saw before, taking half my HP, and i retreated only to learn her move was a area attack move, which hit the Blacksmith NPC, then it was all out war. The GM Warrior was revived by someone in the're party, and never got close to him again, because every Guild had other problems to worry about, excepted Private Corp. Monsters living in the city, and roaming outside went on offense, and was only doing finishing moves i never saw... We'll i won't be sharing the outcome of that Battle Ten years ago, but i say this, Capital Warrior and it's Allies did represent Planet Ragnarok in that War, and fought for the Ragnarok next Planet Generation. I was there myself. Excuse me enlightment, but the best da.mn Battle that pave the way for something. That's worth my sword's attendence, meaning. It's Gameplanet Tradition, and sometimes you have to fight for new beginnings.
#4's Reply: I agree. Special Event idems needs to hug value, and our research data adjourned declares, Travelers on Planet Ragnarok far and near ventures outside during such holiday celebrations. Market's bustling. Merchants overjoyed. Pubs crowded, Residence and Warriors in good strides, and willing to train. Music celebrations blooming throughout city streets.
Ship routes reestablished, which brings into play Factories and hiring Charc Employees. Ship-Captains recruiting Henchmen who proves themselves in Monthly Touraments, giving life to The Watchtower Guild in Alberta, (organization's doors now close), transporting goods again. New and Collectable, but the Shipcrew in motion of transporting goods can't warp abandoning their Captain, and Shipmates, more excitedly, transportation can take maybe 4,6,10 hours, depending on Factory output and Defending the goods. Those were my Game days moments of youth. I'm up in game age now, and possess only enough strength to get me from one town, to the next.
#5's Reply: Banning's too Good, but i'm not into that business anymore.
Now that City Guild Counsel Recruiting, and Kingdom Recruiting restrictions have been unsealed, but many Travelers may have been under the impression it's married to one department, i got some good news for you, train. You'll see why soon, but not too soon. Whether you choose to believe or not, (i share this not out of disrespect in any way the mind can think of), is your lost, not mine.
