Hi Azzy, can you please help me? I am trying to figure this mercanary stuff out but find it pretty confusing. Is it possible for me to make the mercanary use double strafe whenever I use lex aeterna on a target? but otherwise just normal attack? I don't know if it is possible

No, this functionality is not available in AzzyAI, and I'm not sure it could be implemented reliably within the API we are provided with.

The mercenary can only tell that you used a skill on the monster, not whether it was LexA, and the merc can't tell if it's hit the monster since you cast on it (ex, due to lag). I don't think i'd be able to get that to work reliably.

No, dev 10 will have the fix for that issue, it will be released shortly.

I"m having a problem with my Eira > Lif. It has stopped doing its Urgent Escape since I updated to the Dev9. I have DefensiveBuff to 1 with no luck.Any Ideas?

Excuse me Doc...

Per documentation, you must specify what kind of homunculus your Eira was prior to mutation (unless it was a vani).

This is done with the OldHomunType option; Open the AzzyAI Configuration Tool, and on homun options tab, find OldHomunType, and set it to Lif. (If modifying files with a text editor instead of the configuration tool, the line should be OldHomunType=LIF )

Yes - if OldHomunType is set correctly, and UseDefensiveBuff is set to 1 that should work. I don't have a Lif handy to test it on, but I haven't heard any other users mention this issue, and defensive buffs work for other homuns, so I'm pretty sure the feature is working.

Checked that as well, my OldHomunType is set to 1 (1 = Lif correct?) with no changes. I have a specific Homun Config for my Eira. (EIRA_Config). Under Its config (EIRA_Config) I have its OldHomuType set to 1, and DefensiveBuff to 1 with no change

As far as I can tell, it's only my Eira > Lif that is having these problems. I have been testing the other HomunS with the new Dev and I've only been having problems with Eira > Lif. .

Are you loading the EIRA_Config by testing whether the homun is an Eira? Are you using code that worked a previous version of AzzyAI to do that? Check that you're comparing homuntype to EIRA, not ERIA. Up until recently, it was spelled wrong in the constants file.

Er - let me just be certain here...

The options you're setting are UseOffensiveBuff and UseDefensiveBuff right? You're just calling them OffensiveBuffs for convenience, right?

Hey I probably did something wrong here but when i tried using 1.5 dev 9 I ran into a problem where my vani just was passive and did nothing. when i told it to attack it did so but then stoped once the mob was dead and refused to auto cast caprice or auto attack anything again unless ordered too. I just for some reason could not get the vani to be aggressive. I tried all the suggestions you have posted in this forum post so far.

Please check that there is an AAIStartH.txt in your RO folder, post the contents here. Also check for AAI_ERROR.log - post contents of that too, if present. These files will be in the main RO folder (not inside the AI folder)

the homunc is completely passive only attacks when i tell it too and when it does it stops attacking after a little bit and just lets its self get killed...

That's not good. It's not clear to me whether those errors are the cause of the bad behavior, but there's clearly something wrong - for some reason it's calling Closest() with the destination as 0,0.

Can you please post the config files (H_Config.lua, H_Tactics.lua, H_Extra.lua)? Upload them to something like mediafire and post the link here.

Also, what server and map did you encounter this issue on?

i basically copy pasted all the files from the link on the OP to my AI folder replacing all the files with the same name ..
i jsut read the documentation in your .zip file , i realised that i do not have thie USER_AI folder in ragnarok online -> ai (folder)

The files MUST be located in the USER_AI folder, inside the AI folder, inside the Ragnarok Online folder. If there is no USER_AI folder there, create one.

Also, are you running Windows 7, with UAC enabled (ie, do you have to run RO as admin to make it work)? If so, is RO installed inside the Program Files folder? If you answered yes to both of these questions, you'll need to move the entire RO folder to a location outside of program files before installing the AI.

i found a third party ai that seems to work for now tho i do not like how long the delay is between casts. http://www.mediafire...fqvml41a5ow0kpg

i would prefer it if it would spam skills like yours does.... oh well. I am really looking forward to being able to use your ai again.
